Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa All Inclusive

Overall, we loved our stay at Grand Sirenis. We loved the staff, lots of activities for couples and families, the cleanliness of the resort was well maintained, different shows every night at the theatre, clean and spacious rooms with a hot tub, very close to the beach as well, lots of pools to choose from. However, the quality of food could've been better, but if you want value for your money, this is the resort for you. We stayed at room 1017 (forgot the building name), but shoutout to the people at the concierge, always willing to help if we needed anything and greeted us with big smiles every morning. Also, extending our appreciation to Leo, Adan, Katya (reach out to her if you are interested in becoming a member), Girardo from hydrotherapy, the bartenders from Mixologia (the best bar at the resort btw), and last but not least, the ladies from the Good Bar, and Cecilio from archery class (I hope I got his name right) - they were all amazing and treated us like family.

Service was great. Transportation was limited. Lobby very inconvenient from rooms. Not enough transportation for the elder. Not all room are equally air conditioning. We had four rooms and only two were cooled the other two where hot. Moved from hot room to warm room. Not enough place in the shower to put your own soap or shampoo.

The Grand Sirenis Rivera Maya is a wonderful resort. There are three huge pools which are all different and all fun. Excellent food at both of the buffets and at the themed restaurants that we tried, which included the Mexican, Asian, and Mediterranean restaurants. It is quite a large property with many well maintained walkways that connect all of the areas. We enjoyed this about the Grand Sirenis, and had some great times just walking around from place to place and getting some god exercise in the process. A unique feature is the lazy river, which we found to be a "not so lazy" river with a pretty good current. It was fun to float around and swim through it as well. My daughter especially enjoyed swimming through the lazy river as did I. The rooms were large, very nice, and well equipped with everything that you would expect at a resort of this type. The beach area was also very large and had a lot of different areas to enjoy. Unfortunately, we went during Sargassum season so the beaches were not swimmable due to the abundance of seaweed. I can only imagine how beautiful the beaches would be during the seasons where Sargassum is not an issue, and of course, that is all beyond the control of the resort. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the Grand Sirenis and wold definitely return for a future visit.

The resort staff are very helpful, and even though the hotel was full, the pools and lazy river was never too busy. The spa was a little chaotic and not as relaxing as I would have expected but the food and drink was well above average. The resort I think is better for families of all ages than couples wanting a quiet beach vacation.

Beautiful resort! Very clean, good food, great themed restaurants. Has sandy beach areas as well as snorkeling areas. Great service! Only negative is that the atm fees (Only give out US$) are super high, they don’t exchange Can$ (even though half the guests are Canadian), and they give a very poor return on US$. Get pesos elsewhere and enjoy a great resort👍

My husband and I stayed for 8 nights at this resort and we had a wonderful time. We managed to book 6 a-la-carte restaurants alongside the buffet, the food selection was plentiful and each bar had made different delicious cocktails. My favourite restaurant was the hibachi grill (the shrimp was incredible!) and the Carnal restaurant was fabulous entertainment. I loved the coffee bars also which have matcha, chai and iced lattes with fresh crepes! The property is definitely walkable and gives you a chance to get your steps in to offset all the buffet food! You will get to see so much wildlife from iguanas to monkeys putting on a show as you make your way from your room to the pool / beach. The resort has a very enjoyable lazy river and plenty of pools. I had read some complaints about the lack of sunbeds but the beach always had free beds and you can easily pull extra beds to the pool areas so we never had an issue (and we didn’t arrive at the pools until 11am!). I would also recommend the spa facility, their hydrotherapy and hot stone massages were the epitome of relaxing. The staff are very friendly, always willing to check in and help with anything you need. We had an issue with our aircon and someone was sent to resolve the issue within seconds. The staff here work tirelessly to cater to the needs of the guests, especially Eduardo in guest services provided us an exceptional service. Thank you Grand Serenis, we had a fabulous time!

We had the most amazing time celebrating my husband's 38th!! We had many dining options and tons of entertainment through out the resort including a foam party, pool games and fire dancers as well as SO MUCH love music. We were able to easily book activities and we were welcomed by all the staff. Thank you to Adam for setting us up for success and to all the concierges. We will definitely be back one day with our future kids. ❤️✨🌴🐢⛱️💚

We’ve stayed at less expensive resorts and had better overall experiences, especially when it comes to food, activities, and evening entertainment. What looks like a dresser is actually a solid block used as a room divider, leaving very little space to store clothes. The bathroom layout was great in theory—a large soaking tub, separate toilet, and big shower—but the shower did not drain properly. Water pooled during use, and despite reporting it three times, it wasn’t fixed until the bathroom flooded. Unfortunately, clothes we had stored under the sink were soaked as a result. I contacted the front desk and the supervisor was excellent. She arranged complimentary laundry service for up to 20 items, which we appreciated, though we still had to dry additional items on the balcony. Would I recommend it? Possibly. Would I return? No—not because it was terrible, but because it didn’t stand out compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at.

Erik from the Expedia team on the resort was a doll. The food here is next level and drinks are strong. The lush forests on the beach feels like a dream. Lots of amazing people ranging in all ages and walks of life. Rooms are 3/5 very comfortable beds and great bathrooms. Although, they felt old and a bit unkept. The couch was stained and filthy and the walls need a repaint. My biggest problem was how early the pools and beach close down. By 540 the beach bars only serve beer and at 6 they are completely closed down. No swimming at 7pm is really bad. It was still light out and the pools are all closed. Even the beach is closed by 7. I think that’s a bit silly! Night swims are my fav part of vacation and that was a big no go.

Beautiful property... Cold buffet food, cockroaches coming out of the toilet, ants in the room, broken patio door, and backed up shower that flooded the room on the first day. Won't be going back!

We have been to Mexico a few times. This will be a fair and balanced review of this resort. Pros: the outside areas are nice. The beach is clean and had plenty of chairs. There were sunny and shaded areas. The swim areas are nice. Food is easily accessible. We used 2 of the pools. They were clean and spacious. The grounds are manicured. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: our rooms were unnecessarily dirty and smelled just awful. We were a big family with 2 adjoining rooms. Both rooms were atrocious. The headboards are fabric and had big, nasty stains. Our sheets were stained. We took clothes out of our suitcase to sleep on. The bathroom was moldy. Both the sink or shower drains were clogged. We were in building 16. We noticed when walking through other buildings that the smell was strong in bldg 16 and particularly right outside our first floor rooms. The resort offered us 1 new room but we booked 2 and both smelled. We could not justify moving only half of us to another building. They performed a deep clean but it did not take the smell away. It smelled like mold and mildew from pervasive water damage that could not be wiped away. My recommendation is to stop booking the rooms to guests and address the serious issues. Throw away stained linens. Refurbish stained headboards. Do away with the weird sliding piece of wood that covers a weird window from the bedroom into the bathroom. Overall- the exterior areas are ok but the rooms are not worth your money.

Didn’t like that the beach washrooms always had issues, no toilet paper, plugged toilets. No security at the beach, would like to see security walking around. The washroom in our bedroom, bath tub leaking at the tap area, shower door didn’t close and caused water to go over the floor, light in washroom are on a sensor and constantly going out, needed to always carry my cell to use the light. We were a group of 10 and had 5 rooms, each of us had a least 2 issues each, the safe wasn’t working for some, toilet button was pushed and stuck which caused the water to continuously run.

The check in process was terrible. The rest of the staff throughout the hotel were amazing. The food for an all inclusive was great. The rooms are in a desperate need of an upgrade. The cleanliness of the rooms to the resort grounds need to be better

Staff was very kind, the oceanside bartender was so much fun! Everything was very clean and well maintained.

Beautiful property well maintained with a lot of natural plants, etc. room was immaculate great view of the ocean. All of the food establishments were well-maintained and well stocked throughout the dining hours.

This resort is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The buffet food was good and the themed restaurants were great. The rooms need maintenance as shower doors were missing seals so the bathrooms flooded. Air conditioner in one room was very noisy and sounded like it needed servicing. The handle on one balcony door was taped on. The elevator in our building was out of order so had to use stairs with a cane. Transportation around the resort was more miss than hit. Our building was 1 1/2 km from the resort centre where the buffet and restaurants were. Although there is a shuttle that went by our building it stopped running at 3pm so very difficult to get to the restaurants. The spa is on the outside of the property and also requires a shuttle to access. Got to the spa but could not back when the spa session ended at 4pm. Requested a shuttle and waited more than an hour.

The odor was Terrible and unbearable. The staff said it was seaweed but it was extremely bad to the point we became stomach sick. The pools were dirty and all the area around the pools and walkways were absolutely disgusting. Limited staff and delayed room reception even though we communicated the ENTIRE TIME before flight and after flight and during drive to resort. No rooms view to anything but dirty and broken trees. Sad very sad and disappointing.

The food is great, staff is friendly and helpful, but if you looking for cold rooms its not the place everyplace is room temp at best the only 2 places where there is actual cold air is the ice cream parlors and the coffe shop.

Resort was great. Staff are supper friendly, and the food and services are excellent. The resort is about older, and you will notice minor details. Example: padio doors are hard to move, possibly missing exterior handle.

Food was great, loved the lazy river. Beach was sub par with bushes all over blocking views & access. Air conditioning in the room didn’t work properly even after we had them come “fix” it. I doubt we’ll stay here again.

Like: spacious rooms with AC, excellent food and diverse restaurants options, swimming pools bars and coffee Tostado, Mixology bar (Manuel is excellent!), lazy river, pickleball courts, concierges Erik and Derek, Expedia local support Karen, nice shows at the Sunset bars, Spa. Didn't like: some pressure to became "Ultimatum member" by concierges as need to contact them to book restaurants, one night with high noise close to my room to build an elevator, (moving pallets after midnight and starting at 7:15am) solved next day, improper beach and bad smelling because of sargasso, Mandarim bar heavily hot, (please provide ventilators to this area), Disco isolated and too far to use it like the Spa and the Gym.

We’ve been here a few times and oh wow has it changed. Pros: We love the lazy river. It’s amazing. Food has significantly increased in quality over the last time. Lobby has gone through a complete refresh, some of the rooms look slightly updated. Cons: AC in our room just wouldn’t get cold. We had a travel fan which saved our lives but no matter how many times we called, no one ever showed up to fix it or even to give us feedback that they tried. If it was any hotter in our room, I think we would have moved hotels almost unbearable. Room had small little ants in it, they were everywhere. Honorable People Mentions: Natan and William in the lobby bar were awesome! Entertaining and just good people to be around. Go see them!

Positives: The restaurants were beautiful and food options were plentiful and always fresh. Several of the wait staff, bartenders, and housekeepers were hardworking and professional. General resort grounds and pool areas were clean + upkept. Negatives: Check-in took a long time w/limited acknowledgement re: room accommodations. Immediately after checking in, an employee tried to sell us a timeshare. We stated we were "hot + tired only wanting to get to our luggage + rooms" however a 2nd attempt was made to sell us a timeshare which we again declined. Check-out was also a poor experience since the elevators were broken, no shuttle service was available + our Building Concierge pretended not to speak English as we asked for assistance. It should be noted this is the same Building Concierge who attempted to sell us a Timeshare mid-way through our vacation and refused a 3rd time. Overall: We would happily return now knowing what to expect from Check-In + the Building Concierge point of contacts. We didn't let these situations deter us from enjoying our vacation. The resort is beautiful, vibrant and we made a lot of great memories!

Room was amazing, cleaning staff did a great job, food was awesome, resort was amazing and the staff were super helpful and always confirming satisfaction. Erik Medina From the resort was always around making sure we had an amazing stay and helped us with our dinner reservations as well as shared some tips to make our trip more enjoyable. Check in was late, maid services slow. Too many sales.

This place is horrible from the food to the service... They changed me a 350 dollars for a dual message that we never got and they said we were a no show. At checkout they we're trying to hold us there until that charge was paid.. Which we did because we had to catch a flight.. I wiill be disputing this

The staff are amazing and so friendly. I have never had the concierges be so helpful. They show up to make sure you made it to your dinners. They do all your reservation for you. They see you out when leaving at the end of your trup. Eduardo from building 16 17 was amazing. And Migual as well at building 16 17. The workers driving the carts are funny and keep you laughing even when not on a ride and they are just passing bye. My room was very clean and the maids did a great job each day. The only think I can complain about was my pillow shape. Lol. Edgar is an amazing Manager. He was so helpful to my whole family. Checked on us at dinners and made sure I had a great birthday dinner. Emily at the pool was fun and kept us all having fun. I wish they did a little more activities in the pool. The beach party was so much fun. We danced until 1am. Lots of animals at this resort.little baby monkeys. Lots of fish to see in the bay. Snorkling. Food is great at all buffets and the beach BBQ was amazing. You are able to visit all the restaurants and as many times as you want.

We loved our stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange dinner reservations for every night we were there. They even helped squeeze us in when we were late to making reservations. Erik from guest services was very attentive and made sure to check in with us almost every day of our stay. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved the bathrobes. The resort is well laid out and very clean. They've done renovations to the main buffet which look great and make it feel more cozy. The pools are a great temperature. There's lots of greenery and wildlife around which makes it feel like you're staying in the jungle. All the food we had was excellent including from the buffet and the a la carte restaurants. The Mexican food especially was very good.

This was an amazing resort by far the best experience we have had in Mexico. From Isaac our concierge greeting us every day to Eduardo checking in with us to make sure everything is going good to Omar with food services we always made sure to sit in his section at the buffet since he was amazing at his job to Cecilio taking us on a bike tour and teaching archery to Ricardo and our Mexican Harry Potter at the mixology bar. This resort has everything and more the rooms were clean and they had the grounds crew cleaning the property everyday. We will definitely be returning to this resort

Our experience at Grand Sirenis was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The resort itself is beautiful, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional team who went above and beyond in every way. A special thank-you to Juan from Guest Services, whose warm personality and genuine care set the tone for our entire trip. Juan was always ready with helpful recommendations, and a friendly smile. He made us feel welcomed and valued every single day. The Concierge team—Leo, Aldais, and Icela —deserve praise as well. Their professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. Whether we needed dinner reservations, activity planning, or just a bit of guidance, they handled everything flawlessly. Their knowledge, kindness, and dedication truly elevated our experience. The food options were another highlight of our stay. From delicious buffet selections to a variety of specialty restaurants, there was always something amazing to enjoy. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, and plenty of choices made every meal something to look forward to. Whether we wanted a quick bite or a full dining experience, the resort offered fantastic options for every taste. From the beautiful surroundings to the exceptional service, Grand Sirenis exceeded all expectations. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a resort where the staff makes you feel like family, this is the place!

Housekeeping was great. Trying to get a dinner reservation was VERY challenging and the concierge staff were no help but the guest services were marginally helpful. The people who service the mini bars, coffee and waters took 4 days (out of 6) to finally get it right and supply us with enough water and coffee. Recommend to family/friends??? Maybe

My stay was amazing. The staff is great and very caring. Who ever trains your staff in hospitality should get a raise. so many staff to mention. Migal at block 16 17. EDUARDO guest servises. I have never had someone come visit me at every meal and to say goodbye. EDGAR did all that. Everyday he took care of my family. Emily at the pool. She was so sweet and fun. The rooms were amazing and clean. Pillow a little to small for me. Great job by everyone. All the cart drivers. The cooks and waiters.

The Beach is amazing, nestled in a cove giving gentle waves for toddlers to enjoy the ocean and the kids can easily see fish too. We enjoyed all the walking trails throughout the large property, without having other people on your heels. Lots of wildlife and birds to see too. Food was amazing, lots of options and great quality. Staff was great throughout the property too, all were very kind to our kids. The Bad -Booked a king bed, got two doubles instead. -Slept without Bed duvets for 9 out of the 10 nights. -The tub in our room only put out hot water, had to pail in cold water from the sink with the ice bucket so our kids could have baths. -There is no way to physically lock the room door from the inside. -2 Liters of drinking water per day is not enough for my family of 5. Wished they had a simple tap anywhere on the resort so we could get more drinking water when needed. Assistant Manager instructed to buy water from the convince store. We did manage to get the hotel manager to approve 5 litres of bottle water for us, but that only lasted for 2 days. -Bottled water is not provided on your last day either. -We did manage to get a 2 hour extension for check out, however they still went into our room while we were enjoying our last hours at the beach and removed our bags at the regular scheduled checkout time, and then we were locked out of room too, despite being told we had a 2 hour extension for check out. Not a single apology from the front desk.

Beautiful property and rooms were nice. Many options for pools and beach. Reception staff was especially helpful. Felt safe and welcomed. Food was only okay, in my opinion, but HUGE array of options that would be especially attractive to groups. The walk from our room was about 2/3s of a mile (got lots of exercise). Sometimes shuttles available; sometimes not. Took us days to find the elevator to our 3rd story room. No ice machines in or near our building. Only two bedside drawers in our suite - no clothing drawers, which was inconvenient for a long stay. Outdoor floors are smooth stone (beautiful but really slippery when misting or raining).

The scenery throughout the resort was beautiful. The wildlife was a fun addition. I didn’t realize that this wasn’t a beachfront property or that we would only be able to access a cove area for our “beach time”. Being able to snorkel there though was nice.

The food from the restaurant OMG excellent!! The beach beautiful! The staff outstanding the place is huge and made use of the golf carts. All inclusive plus they have a pharmacy close by and a oxxo like a 711. Because I like to explore I will not stay here again but its perfect for families. They have entrainment when you are having dinner at el Carnal the food was so good the mandarin margarita yumm!! I will miss you!! I recommend and very goid price!!!

My family & I are so happy we made the right decision to stay at this property. We were a bit apprehensive at first due to some bad reviews but glad we didn’t listen. This place is beautiful and enormous. They did a great job renovating the resort. Although, hopefully the rooms will get the same treatment eventually. There are so many things to do here. The beach was absolutely gorgeous, we enjoyed it so much especially after the seaweeds got cleared out. The kids loved the snorkeling area! Pools are also fun! If you enjoy nature, this is your place. We appreciated all the trees everywhere. There were monkeys, birds, iguanas & all kinds of animals you’ll see around the property. There’s def that jungle vibe, which we loved so much! The food is nothing but the best, esp all the restaurants we tried. The buffet and the grill by the beach were our go to’s! Btw, Angel @ the buffet was the best server, and also Irene by the pool. They were attentive and have the best attitude! The regular drinks are ok btw- they all kind of taste the same but the ones we had at the resto were top notch! Our favorite would be the lobby bar, Mixologia. Freddy and Manuel are the finest bartenders! All the drinks they made were unbelievable. You will find us there every night! The staff def made our stay special & we were so thankful. From day1, Karen & Eric took really good care of me & my family. They made our experience absolutely wonderful! We would love to stay again, thank you so much Sirenis!

There is lots of green jungle inside the hotel, very cool to see lots of monkeys, racoons and other animals freely moving through the resort. Food was ok, resort is huge so there is a lot of walking. Pools for all styles, calmed and party. Nice long lazy river. Beach was full of seaweed so we could not enjoy it.

We stayed October 27- November 4, 2025. The Grand Sirenis did excellent work engaging guest interest in property amenities, and provided very attentive dining services; well-staffed at every bar, lounge, and restaurant. The property was well-managed and clearly prioritized cleanliness, maintenance, groundskeeping, and guest comfort (loose pavers are an issue, though). Our junior suite, king bed, was situated in the Luum (17) block. Our room was clean and fresh. Our mini bar was stocked with our preferences after a simple request. Frankly, all staff interactions were very pleasant. The ala carte restaurants were inconsistent on presentation and quality of food served, but with a wildly divergent menu between 10 overall dining options, we were able to work around any issues and pivot to the buffet afterwards, if needed! We give high marks to Pueblito Lindo (Mexican) and Bazaar (Mediterranean). The resort features “show cooking” in most restaurants and the buffets so you will come away with smell in your clothes and hair. Febreeze and dry shampoo would be on my packing list. We would go back to the lush resort, so full of greenery, nice pools, and friendly staff. Clearly also a family destination, we were a couple just seeking relaxation and time to reconnect. For us, it was glorious. The resort is about 1hr 45 minutes southbound from the Cancun airport. Highly recommend prebooking transfers, the taxis are regulated pricing and it was ridiculous.

Large resort but still keeps a intimate feel. The natural aspect was loved by all in our party. Wildlife abounds, even got a glimpse of a Tayra, which was very neat.

My family enjoyed the 4 nights we stayed, overall was a good experience. There are some points that hold me back to give a higher rating: 1) some areas of the resort needs a renovation, specially elevators, room air conditioning, bathroom 2) despite of many restaurant options, was still quite hard to book the dinner. 3) the kids club needs a urgent expansion and more activities with the kids. Mainly I saw kids playing video game and on computer. 4) the dinner buffet was not good, a lot of options, but most were not well prepared Positive points were: - very attentive staff, always checking how is your stay is going . The concierge team was truly helpful, Erick & Derek were amazing helping guests and very friendly. - the resort grounds are amazing, a lot of animals , clean tracks, nice ocean views. - the food in the specialty restaurants were quite good, good service and several options to choose - the dolphin experience was surprisingly nice, and is inside the resort that makes easy to plan that attraction. Also main attractions in this area are a short drive away

The food choices were very limited. The food that was available was terrible. No air conditioning in the buffets. You are sweating non stop during breakfast, lunch and dinner. This was our first and last time at this resort.

We had an amazing stay at this resort in Mexico! The staff were incredible and truly made our experience special from start to finish. There were so many activities to choose from, and our kids had the best time interacting with the monkeys, coatis, and iguanas that freely walk around the resort — such a unique and fun experience for the whole family. The buffet was excellent and nothing like a typical resort buffet. The very first night, they were grilling fresh lobster right at the buffet, which was amazing. There were so many stations to choose from — cooked seafood, sushi, poke bowls, chicken, beef — pretty much anything you could want, they had it! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and we loved the Michael Jackson tribute show — it was awesome! We made such great memories here as a family and would absolutely come back. If you’re considering staying here, I definitely recommend it!

Staff and service was great! Shoutout to Erick and Juan concierges. Overall stay was very pleasant and relaxing. The themed restaurants were ok- the flavor just wasn’t there at all and food freshness was lacking. In fact, the buffet offered better taste and freshness. The nightly entertainment/shows could improve.

Food was great, loved the lazy river. Beach was sub par with bushes all over blocking views & access. Air conditioning in the room didn’t work properly even after we had them come “fix” it. I doubt we’ll stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Sirenis. Our room on the third floor overlooking the ocean was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The housekeeper maintained everything well, and the fridge was stocked daily. The staff and service were excellent, especially Omar, head of guest services, who checked on us regularly and helped resolve an issue kindly and efficiently. We enjoyed the à la carte restaurants, which we were able to book easily through our concierge. Our ratings are as follows: 1. Butchers (Smoke and Grill), 2. Oishii (Pan Asian), 3. Bazaar (Mediterranean), 4. Lima, and 5. Pueblito Lindo (Mexican). Both buffet options were also superb, offering many choices. We spent an afternoon at the Spa enjoying the Hydrotherapy experience. My son was impressed with the gym, which was clean and offered many workout options. We appreciated the scenery - flora and fauna — although the beach was largely unusable because the sargassum had accumulated and was decaying, producing an unpleasant smell. Instead, we spent our time at the pools, where we found lounge chairs, though more could be done to prevent people from reserving chairs and not using them. There was plenty to do both on and off the resort. We enjoyed the hotel entertainment and the bars. We took two tours, which involved swimming with a whale shark, exploring the ruins of Tulum, visiting cenotes, and snorkelling with sea turtles. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation.

My husband and I stayed for 8 nights at this resort and we had a wonderful time. We managed to book 6 a-la-carte restaurants alongside the buffet, the food selection was plentiful and each bar had made different delicious cocktails. My favourite restaurant was the hibachi grill (the shrimp was incredible!) and the Carnal restaurant was fabulous entertainment. I loved the coffee bars also which have matcha, chai and iced lattes with fresh crepes! The property is definitely walkable and gives you a chance to get your steps in to offset all the buffet food! You will get to see so much wildlife from iguanas to monkeys putting on a show as you make your way from your room to the pool / beach. The resort has a very enjoyable lazy river and plenty of pools. I had read some complaints about the lack of sunbeds but the beach always had free beds and you can easily pull extra beds to the pool areas so we never had an issue (and we didn’t arrive at the pools until 11am!). I would also recommend the spa facility, their hydrotherapy and hot stone massages were the epitome of relaxing. The staff are very friendly, always willing to check in and help with anything you need. We had an issue with our aircon and someone was sent to resolve the issue within seconds. The staff here work tirelessly to cater to the needs of the guests, especially Eduardo in guest services provided us an exceptional service. Thank you Grand Serenis, we had a fabulous time!

The staff were nice and attentive; the bad part was the lack of time slots for the a la carte restaurants. We were told basically we would have to eat at the buffet every day. The only two restaurants we were able to get reservations for were the Italian and French restaurant.

My wife and I enjoyed the trip to this location. The food was good, but not great. They had multiple options and most of the food was good. The staff was beyond great and friendly all over the resort. The resort was clean and kept up. The bad: 1. It is almost impossible to get a reservation at one of the restaurants, which leaves you eating at the buffet. The reservations seem to all get taken by "members" who scoop up all the reservations. This happens because the resort does not have the staff to operate all restaurants each night. They shut down half to operate the other half, which is why no one but members can get reservations. 2. Our room was not hot per se, but it was definitely not cold. It was luke warm in our room. Once you are out in the sun or get a sun burn and try to sleep at night it is impossible, you will sweat. This was for building 11. A friend of ours was booked in building 15 and they said they were frozen out every night. I tried 3 times while staying to get our A/C looked at and no one would come out to fix it or look at it. 3. Bartenders are not bartenders at this resort. You are stuck with whatever employee they have available to mix you a drink and that leads to inconsistent drinks that never taste the same from order to order. One would taste great and the next would taste too sour to even drink. 4. You are stuff with all off-brand liquors, brand name liquors are for....you guessed it...members only.

Housekeeping was great. Trying to get a dinner reservation was VERY challenging and the concierge staff were no help but the guest services were marginally helpful. The people who service the mini bars, coffee and waters took 4 days (out of 6) to finally get it right and supply us with enough water and coffee. Recommend to family/friends??? Maybe
