Great location. Best spot in all of the Hampton. They had free bikes to ride around. Nice view. Great breakfast. I love this place.

Barons Cove Inn is very well located i.e. walkable to pretty much everything. It’s also charming, somewhat quirky, clean, comfortable, has very nice room amenities and internet access, a friendly attentive staff, a nice bar and restaurant, a lovely pool, is waterfront and has a great front porch with rockers. What’s not to like? We’ll definitely be making return visits.

We had a great time, live music in the lobby bar which is super cute and cozy, we had breakfast in the dining room that was great and loved that it was dog friendly.

Such a cute place right on the water. Loved the pool area. It was close to Main Street so was able to walk to all the restaurants and shops in town. Plenty of parking as well.

The only place we stay in Sag Harbor. Dog friendly and great location. They also have a great restaurant and bar on site with live music.

What’s not to like. Romantic but saw many families too. Close to restaurants and shopping. Staff were some of the nicest and professional people we’ve ever met. They really made our stay quite special. Restaurant with fireplace. Great bar and outdoor patio with heaters and fire pits. Bike riding, beach lots of fun.

Parking was free and really easy. Great proximity to the main street of town—you can easily walk, but it's not too close where it gets loud at night. The front staff and cleaning team were all lovely and super helpful. We loved the coffee bar in the mornings.

Room had ants, staff handled it terribly. No more rooms to accommodate, originally was having trouble to give us our money back. Never assisted to find a new surrounding place because it was 1030 in the evening. Never sent anyone to check the room or help us with our luggage. We had ants on is and our belongings. Never followed up the next day until I called them. Such a disappointment, went last year and had the best time.

One of our two rooms smelled like a dirty wet sock. Requested management move us to another room. Got moved after the first night. Housekeeping good but rooms need some new ventilation units. It would be nice to have turndown service for the average daily rate

The property is beautiful and conveniently located. Staff are kind, polite and helpful. Cleanliness mostly was fine. The shower floor is a concrete looking stone which is hard to see if it's cleaned and there was hair still on the drain.

The property has went down hill. There was fruit flies everywhere.

My husband and i travel from Az to celebrate our 25th anniversary! Hotel was absolutely beautiful, clean comfortable and staff was super friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again!

The description for the 1st floor “harbor” rooms is not accurate. The harbor cannot be seen from the rooms. There is a large hedge in front of these rooms that block any view. Expedia and the hotel should take greater care so customers are not misled.

This place advertises as a hotel but it’s actually a motel. The door exits to the parking lot, people walk by your window, so you always have to keep the blinds closed. As a single woman traveling alone, I prefer a hotel without direct access from the parking lot into the room.

The entire staff were very helpful and welcoming! The room was spacious and comfortable, including the beds and bedding. The room had a strong "disinfectant" smell that we didn't enjoy. The bathroom was very basic but fully functional. The occupants of the room above could be heard clearly. We ate breakfasts in the restaurant and we much enjoyed the food, the very kind staff and the great views. Very convenient for touring the south and north forks of Long Island, including the Hamptons.

Sadly in need of a renovation. Extremely poor value but front desk staff was super nice. You will be underwhelmed by the rooms. The “garden rooms” overlook the parking lot. I would not stay there again.

The staff were all incredible! The room exceeded expectations, beautifully decorated, comfortable and the amenities were upscale. The weather was beautiful so we loved sitting on the patio and out in the resorts pool area. We ate at the resort’s restaurant several times and the food was exceptional. We also enjoyed sitting in front of the bar fireplace with a nice glass of wine. The resort is right on Sag Harbor. I would recommend Baron’s Cove to anyone.

Great location Rooms are very small but still amazing

We loved everything about our stay - the location, the cleanliness, the service, Kristen at the front desk :-), the food (we had breakfast and brunch at the hotel during our two days there) - can't wait to go back to Baron's Cove!!!!

Everything I expected. Staff - from the GM to the server and bartender - were top notch. Always been my favorite date spot, but the hotel this time was incredible as well.

The staff at Baron's was extremely accomodating - from dog friednly room options to placing a crib in our room before arrival for our newborn. Every request was met swiftly and executed well. Highly recommend. Easy to walk to downtown Sag if you don't want to deal with parking, and vast array of amenities on site were lovely.

I recently stayed at Baron's Cove, & unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've ever had. The primary issue was the shockingly rude & disrespectful behavior of the staff, which overshadowed any positive aspects of the hotel. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that guest service was not a priority. I was met with dismissive attitudes & curt responses. They acted as if my presence was an inconvenience rather than a valued guest. Throughout my stay, I encountered several issues that required staff assistance: drink & dining delays of over an hour, and ignoring the Do Not Disturb sign. Each time I sought help, the staff seemed annoyed by my request & responded in a manner that was both unhelpful & disrespectful rolling their eyes & muttering as they walked away. Instead of resolving my problems, they made me feel like a nuisance. I'd hoped that the management might be more understanding, but my interactions with them were equally disappointing. When I attempted to address my concerns about the staff’s behavior, I was met with defensiveness & a lack of accountability. It seemed like they were more interested in dismissing my complaints than addressing the issues at hand. While the hotel's amenities & location were satisfactory, the staff's rude behavior left a sour taste the staff's rude behavior left a sour taste that overshadowed my entire stay. A hotel experience should be welcoming & accommodating, & they failed miserably in these aspects.

Overall, my stay was pretty good. My main complaint is that I didn't have Wi-Fi in my room during my entire stay. I came to work on a deadline in a quiet place and let the receptionist know this. I had politely asked for the issue to be resolved all three days, and it wasn't. I took screenshots to show that the wifi wasn't working each day at all hours. I am not one to be rude or make demands, but Baron Cove also offered nothing to make up for it so all I am left with is to leave a poor review.

Excellent Hospitality and the food is awesome

We treated ourselves to room service one rainy night and it was great. The housekeeping staff was attentive and professional, one young woman offered to help get my bag upstairs! Super location for my needs of daily Tracy Anderson studio work Lovely spot

Wonderful relaxing mini resort - pricey but everything in Sag is!! coffee every morning VERY NICE! The staff is very eager to assist - kitchen need of more staff?? slow and perhaps a bell of some sort at front desk..

The hotel is stunning, they did not spare any details. The front desk team is exceptional and was helpful with everything needed. The bar is serving unique and delicious cocktails. Great location in walking distance to the Main Street restaurants and shopping. Will be staying here for all future trips out to the hamptons area.

We loved our two nights at Sag Habor and Baron's Cove was a perfect location with just the right facilities for our needs. Off season in the Spring must surely be the best time as there were enough visitors to make it interesting, but not too full. The bar and restaurant were excellent, with inside and outside space. All staff were professional and engaging, and could not have been better. The food was excellent. Our room was ideal, roomy enough, well decorated and very clean. Very much recommended hotel and the village of Sag Harbor.

Very nice experience. Rooms are excellent and the facility is well kept. Dininh and entertainment options over easter weekend worked well. Bar serice was a bit hit and miss at times. That said, all the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Barons Cove is very nice but you need to get a room Upstairs otherwise all night long you here running around from kids etc.. The place is very nice the views on the upper area you see the boats on the water which is beautiful . Dinner at the restaurant didnt have many options though. Breakfast was great.
