Quality Inn & Suites Phoenix NW - Sun City

It was close to where we wanted to be. But it was noisy. And the parking is a little cramped. Breakfast was limited.

The room was fine, but the outside walkway, and parking lot was stained and very shabby. Pool water was cloudy for 3 days, not anything we would swim in. Also, the locks were not very secure.

The staff were very friendly very attentive to help guests. The room was spacious very clean. The property was very clean.The pool was awesome

Good location, 101 to downtown or Bell shopping, Walmart, Home Depot, etc. The rooms are spacious, amenities are up to date, pool is heated and clean. Nice property.

No elevators meant shlepping lunggage to second floor. Train, highway and emergency vehicle noice was an issue. But pool was excellent and breakfast fine.

Hotel parking is limited, hard to find parking near assigned room. Parking had lots of pot holes. Rooms smelled of old building.

Lovely little spot for the price! Great pool area. Comfy beds. A little noisy but tolerable. Nice breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

The place is overall clean. The pool was hot and the transients made it rather difficult because you had to worry about what they were doing all night. They were there first thing in the morning and way late at night. The chair in the room was torn up on the arm and no hot water in the shower. They had a great breakfast

Dog hair in the bed, a floor that was so dirty, it left my feet black, and a leaky roof during rain. Terrible experience

The staff was absolutely wonderful. The room was filthy. The floors were soo gross our feet were black. The bathtub was disgusting. The area was awful and the gas station across the street told us all about the prostitues and d4ug dealers thaf frequent the area. Outside of our suite was always transients who were obviously under the influence. We felt so unsafe where our car was parked, we asked to park it under the camera by the office.

I was pleasantly surprised with this motel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good and had a huge selection. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

When arriving to property after check-in, they informed me Wi-Fi was down and would not be up during the remainder of our stay. Was never notified before check-in. Had homeless signs in the doorway where we were supposed to stay. Got up to our room and pulled out the mattress, and there was blood urine and feces on the mattress. Talk to Manager about a refund did not feel safe staying there with my children denied me the refund.

The floors were so filthy that when we got into the shower the mext day, black soot came off in the shower.

The room was clean and the beds were so comfortable. I slept well into the morning, which is unusual for me. The staff were welcoming and kind. I will absolutely stay again.

Very clean, affordable and great location. Andy checked us in and was probably one of the best front desk staf I've ever dealt with. He was kind, courteous, friendly, super helpful, and sooo nice! He made checking in a breeze. He even calked our room a few minutes aftef checking in to make sure everything was okay in our room. He was outstanding in his attentiveness to cusotmers! Overall a great stay! Thank you.

it was supposed to be a non-smoking room and a wreath with cigarette smell made my clothes and my blanket smell really bad and it wasn’t very clean. A lot of homeless everywhere.

Room was clean, spacious and bed slept well. Breakfast was great, nice choices. The only thing I didnt like was the noise from busy street, then the planes flying over and then the trains. The hotel provided individually wrapped ear plugs and that helped.

Short stay and a place to sleep but very noisy road!!

room floors were a vynal tile that had many popped edges, looked unattractive and was uncomfortable on bare feet. Bathroom tile floor was stained and/or not as clean as it should have been. The staff at front desk and kitchen were TERRIFIC! Very professional, helpful, and friendly! Lots of construction contractors seem to use the hotel, but everyone was very friendly, as safe as any other hotel

Pros are, very conveniently located, extremely clean. Cons, on a very busy road with train tracks across the street. If you want a super clean, inexpensive place to stay this is it. If you want the Hilton, go to the Hilton.

Average room but comfortable bed and very quiet.

When they provide you ear plugs in the room, you know, there's a noise problem. There is a very loud freight train that runs several times per day, including 3 times during sleep hours. The road in front of the place is a race track after 5 pm. The place is a motel not a hotel, each room with a door to the outside, which lowers my rating. It looked like there might have been some newer rooms on the front side area. We didnt have one. The furniture in our room was fine, beds as well. The bathroom had some mildew around tub and ceiling, and very small. Free breakfast was modest but worked out fine. Yogurt, microwavable breakfast sandwiches like a convenience store, biscuits and gravy and make your own waffles plus juice and coffee. Personally wouldnt be comfortable walking around after dark in the area. There were panhandlers and some homeless in the area. They told me at checkin that the Sheriff's group cycled around several times a day. Walkable to convenience store and Jack in Box fast food. Other food options are driveable in the broader area. In my opinion, was not the best value.

The property sits right across from the train tracks. Every two hours all night. No maid service unless you request it even though its posted in theroom every third night. Terrible ibternet ser ice.

At check in demanded a $250 Cash deposit for room because my license was an instate license. I’m a snowbird. Gal at counter said I get my cash back at check out. Then once I paid it and signed everything she changed her story to now I can’t get deposit back until after housekeeping checks my room and they only are available after 9am. Yet I’m checking out at 7:30 to get to the airport. Screwed over by this crappy motel.

Andy checked me in and was wonderful! Thanks Andy. I was overnighting for a doctor's appointment. There were some great reviews of the place. The property itself wasn't great from the outside. It was a much older hotel. The area/neighborhood was more industrial looking. There was a cargo train running directly on the street. I actually really like the sound of trains. I've lived in a lot of train places, and it was comforting for me. The traffic sounds were pretty bad though. They do provide ear plugs in the room. I was VERY pleasantly surprised by my room. The rooms has been updated very well. The bed was nice. It was very clean. It was perfect for me as a solo traveler. There was a smell of cigarette odor, and Andy came right over and used a spray that helped. There was fast food and nice restaurants nearby. A Starbucks was a few blocks away. There was a New York bakery in a Pepto Bismol color down the street that was to die for. I found a really good sushi restaurant. I would stay there again if I have to overnight again, so the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. Great service and a very nice updated room.

We have stayed in more than 80 hotels in the US and Canada. This is the only hotel which required each adult to show ID. It is the only hotel which required our license plate number, not just the make and model of the vehicle. This is the only hotel which required you to eat the breakfast in the kitchen area. You could not bring it back to the room. We will never stay here again.

I chose this as a place to stay since I was going to be attending the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert later that night. The front of house attendant was super friendly and gave me some good advice about heading to the concert. The breakfast the next day was awesome and the staff was super friendly and attentive.

Check in process was WAY to long. One person was trying to institute a much too laborious process with a line about 6 deep. People have to know their auto license plate numbers, the person who made the resv has to be present to present ID. and the issues seemed to go on and on (person supposedly booked smoking but wanted non-smoking). Might want to consider on line check ins to speed up what was a ridiculous (and annoying) process.

Location was good

It was a decent stay. Very close to train tracks which was not pleasant early in the am. But good location as far as close to west gate and also not far from surprise where this is a lot of places to eat.

It was Nice property. Located right on the highway that we needed to be on early in the morning.

Convenient location with fairly easy highway access for traveling around the area. The noise mentioned in negative reviews didn't seem that bad since I was ready for it, and the provided earplugs were a nice touch as needed (and admittedly I didn't even need to use them).

Very loud and outdated property with a homeless problem….

They made us stand outside in the rain to check in. The rooms are dated musty and old. The road sounds were outrageously loud. I finally went and slept in my car. Very bad!

Really sketchy area

Wow I cannot say enough about this place. Our first impression was based on the parking lot greeting of seeing actual hookers which was a shock. Then add in the groups of homeless folks and frequent drug deals occurring next to our room. The topper was the honking trains and loud traffic that go all night. Would not recommend

Loud vehicle and train noise

The property is dated, old buildings. However, it exceeded my expectations in the quality of service and assortment of breakfast options. It’s one of those properties that prove that older buildings have a certain charm. If you are a person that needs the newest of everything, then this property wouldn’t be for you; but if you don’t mind having the sounds of ‘age’ around you and enjoy a rustic feel, then give this place a try.

More fresh fruit at breakfast would be appreciated. The internet did not work.

We went to a Cardinals game for the first time and we were looking for an affordable place to stay. It wasn’t to far from the stadium and had free breakfast. Breakfast offered oatmeal, waffle maker, boiled eggs, breakfast sandwiches and burritos for heating. Definitely not your regular continental breakfast. The lady tending to the kitchen was really sweet and hardworking keeping the area cleaned and stocked for the guest. Parking was available and rooms were clean. Beds were comfy and they offered earplugs for a better nights sleep. We had a good stay overall. All the staff was friendly and attentive.

Key cards didn’t work. Had to get one every night. Traffic noise was extremely loud. Housekeeping was rude and wouldn’t clean our room. Toilet ran all night. Continental breakfast was a joke. I will never stay here again.
