We enjoyed the bar and lounge fireplace nice and comfortable and the staff was outstanding

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay atSettlers. The staff was amazing and what a neat well preserved old inn! Breakfast in their Farm to Table restaurant was not your everyday free continental- it was your choice off of a creative and tasty full menu. They created something unique in their backyard during Covid- an outdoor dining area for special events.

The lobby fireplace with great seating and an adjoining bar made for a great day of sitting and watching it snow. Breakfast was excellent and dinner was just as good as breakfast. The room view was nice and rooms were cozy and felt more comfortable than a chain hotel. We did get a touch of road noise but it was negligible. We look forward to another stay here. It’s what an inn should feel like.

The Settlers Inn is a unique boutique hotel. The owners have remained true to the 1927 origins of this inn. Antiques throughout the common areas are beautiful and reminiscent of its beginning. The outdoor gardens are wonderful, full of bright colors. The grounds are immaculate. The menu from the dining room is unique. Many food products are sourced from local farmers. The dining menu provides a delightful change from the routine finds in hotels. A breakfast monetary credit is applied each day to your order. The only negative comment I have is that there is no elevator in the inn. Staff is always willing to assist with the baggage. Staff is friendly, eager to make your stay a pleasant experience. Would definitely stay at Settler’s Inn again.

We had a deluxe room which was clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and home made breakfast included. There is no elevator so you will need to take stairs. Backyard area was fun and inviting.

Checked in after a long drive and wanted to rest before dinner. Reservations were held and enjoyed a delicious meal outside under the covered porch. Very relaxing with a great view of the grounds and a nice walk after dinner.

Beautiful accommodations and gardens . Service and restaurant were top notch. My wife and I stayed here while attending a wedding event. We will definitely come to Hawley for vacation in the future and stay at the Settlers Inn.

Bathroom fan did not work and shower drain was very slow. Door to bathroom would not stay propped open. The bathroom really needs to be upgraded. Internet and TV were down the last evening and morning. Felt that the room should be nicer at the pricepoint. Good points: The staff were friendly. The food was very good; my compliments to the chef. But, service in dining room was slow. Relaxing atmospheres in the main lobby, dining area, and tavern. Loved the big wood burning fireplace.

Always enjoy my stays @ the Settlers Inn. I have been returning here as often as possible since they opened. Comfortable, clean, relaxing and cozy!

The property is lovely and well maintained. The gracious woman checking us in noticed my husband's height (6'5") and immediately changed us from a queen room to a king. She was very solicitous.

We only stayed once night for a wedding but would come back for the amazing food (incredible breakfast) and the cozy and historic atmosphere. Our room was well appointed and clean, and had a smart TV. The sheets were so soft and comfortable, and the staff could not have been nicer. Pretty fabulous for a place that is about 100+ years old!

Carpet need to be replaced 211 tv hard to understand no local channels 16 22 28 etc

Three of us stayed at this Inn for one night and were extremely pleased with the service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The building is old but is kept in good condition and the room, although rather small, was very clean. The dinner we had was outstanding and we enjoyed every bite! We weren't there long enough to check out the whole property but highly recommend it for a short stay in that area!

Hotel was central to many activities such as hiking, water sports, wineries, breweries, dining and stopping. Had a great breakfast included in the rate. While my husba and i loved the historic feel of the hotel and our room, we felt the standard queen room was overpriced considering small size of the bathroom. Only one person could get ready at a time. This normally wouldn't bother me, since i can get myself ready in the room in situations like that, but the lighting in the room was very low, even with all lamps and overhead light on, so it was very difficult to see yourself in the mirrors. The room needs some better lighting for those who want to get ready in the room. In addition to size of the bathroom, it also lacked some basic things such as a towel ring for the hand towel and additional hooks for hanging wet towels. There was only one towel bar. There were no hooks on any of the walls or on back of the door. Towels were also a bit small and scratchy. In spite of my issues with the bathroom, the room was sufficient for the 2 nights we were there.

It was our first time there on Valentine’s Day. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Our deluxe king room was amazing large with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub. It was clean and comfortable. The decor in lobby is Mission style with cool old leaded glass lamps. I highly recommend staying at Settler’s Inn.

Quaint hotel with very friendly staff. Very nice ambiance. Did not like the TV setup and no elevator. So if you need one this is not the place for you.

Kevin who checked us in was happy to answer all questions. The hotel is a historic site and grandfathered in, so no elevators to room but we were graciously offered assistance with luggage. Room 209 had a comfortable king bed. Streaming TV on wall for which I used my own Netflix login info. Bathroom was modern and had a half glass door. Hot water took a long time to reach the room and I prefer more water pressure (historic building.) I would also prefer to better place to put my toiletries as the wall mounted shelf next to sink was a bit small. Robes were in the closet and very cozy. We set the AC to 64 upon arrival and after dinner the room was still 70. There was a communal coffee station at the end of the hall with a small fridge and freezer and water. In the room, 2 glasses and a carafe were provided. Ice available at the bar until 9pm. Other end of hall had a library and seating. Complimentary wine tasting was done at 4:30pm by Dennis. Keri and Terri were both great on phone and in person. A $36 credit was provided for breakfast and Paige took care of the entire restaurant with kindness and grace. Egg order was undercooked, but they cooked it more for me when asked. Ample parking for a Thursday, grounds adorable and I'd love to see them in the summer. Access to the river with a small area for guests. Patricia O' Connor gave a great fireside chat about the history of Hawley and the Inn (last of the season.) and Keri joined us as well. It was so lovely. Would go again

What a fabulous stay. Stayed at The Settlers Inn to enjoy a weekend at the wine fest and had a wonderful time from beginning to end. The staff was very welcoming, food was great and the room was so comfy I thought I was home for a second.

Beds and pillows very comfy. Food was good but so were the three restaurants we ate at in town. All walkable from the resort. The bikes they offer you to ride are all new 28 inch wheels in great condition. Pickleball courts just across the street. Golf very close at Cricket hill and a good challenging course. Make reservations to ride the rail cars that you pedal. So much fun!

Friendly staff and comfortable stay.

The staff was so great and accommodating. Aishay greeted us and set us up with a fantastic room. Breakfast was great everyday and Tabitha and Joe were a wonderful addition for a night cap

This place is amazing, settled in beautiful surroundings, it is so cozy. We only stayed one night since we were traveling to visit family further north. We think this would be a great meeting spot halfway for all of us. We plan on staying here again. There are other things we would have done if we had more time.

Great example of an old English inn. Lots of wood details and warm atmosphere. Decorated to the nines for Christmas! Hawley is a great Hallmark town.

Nice quiet 2 day get away

The Settlers Inn resort was fantastic! The service was spot on. The front desk man took great care of us. Settlers is an old historic stay that takes you back. Beautiful decorated. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The place has a great cozy feeling. Our room 202 had a giant bathroom with a hot tub! It was real close to the Pa Rail that we rode.

Great art deco hotel. Staff is amazing. Restaurant is terrific, serving trendy dishes that are well presented, but is pricey.

This was a couples weekend away. We really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is beautiful and the food was very good. The breakfast was included and was delicious. We will definitely go back again.

Room had no fridge the tv was 32 inch the brunch for 44 $ a person was not even worth 10 $ and the wine tasting was joke and the morning breakfast just was the topping I had 2 eggs over toast and a side of sausage eggs were barely cooked at all 2 sausage 1 raw and 1 well done and toast not even toasted My wife avacado toast bennidict toast raw eggs completely cooked threw and we waited over an hour crazy never again

Melissa on check in was amazing and very welcoming and accommodating throughout our visit. The grounds are very pretty and have a lot to offer. The one not so good experience was breakfast and should be addressed. While the server was attentive, the frittata was rubbery in consistence. The French toast was mushy and way too sweet. Neither one of us finished even half.
