My stay was excellent. Staff was friendly kind and very informative. They had cooking equipment to rent out for free. An awesome swimming pool on the top floor sauna workout room. In about a 2 and a 1/2, or 5 minute walk if that to the beach. A lot of restaurants and shopping businesses in walking distance. Most of all very secure and safe.

Great location. Excellent value. Older, no frills property. We even had a partial ocean view. Main bathroom could use more options to hang towels and wet clothing away from the toilet. Very small but nice pool area. We would stay here again.

We liked the location and proximity to the beach, shopping and ABC store that had hot meals, sandwiches etc to go. Valet parking was excellent. Room was excellent with 3 beds, small kitchen was very convenient to make a quick breakfast. Roof top was great for viewing Fireworks on Fridays. We found it inconvenient when the one elevator broke down for one day, more congested on the other 2 elevators. Lounge on the top floor should be open more days to take in the views, enjoy a drink and view the fireworks.

Located in a safe area close to a beach. The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. The valet service was quick, even when several people were waiting. I would have liked a self parking option, but considering the location, I get why there wasn't. Would come back!

We stayed in a room with a very comfortable king size bed but recommend bringing your own pillow if you prefer them on the softer side. The room was on the 6th floor in a corner above the 2 hot tubs. It is an older hotel but very clean. It included a full kitchen & large living/dining space and a nice size patio that opened up to fresh air, the sound of birds and a nice view of the surrounding hotels and palm trees. The bathrooms were odd in that the bedroom door had to be opened in order to access the bathroom and the main bath had a tub that was 1/2 size and there was little room between it, the toilet and the wall. They were, however clean and met our needs. The front desk staff, valet, and housekeeping staff were all very friendly & helpful . In addition we were just steps from the beach, shopping & restaurants. There is an ABC store just outside the lobby that carries all basic necessities, beach floaties & a good selection of food & drinks. This is a timeshare location that rents rooms & there are several free activities offered each week. Highly recommended for about half the cost of neighboring hotels.

We just spent a week here and it was a fabulous stay. The hotel is very clean and room overall good condition, beds were comfortable. Excellent location (2min walk to the beach and just outside the lobby door are restaurants and stores) and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Our only complaint is the garbage truck at 4:00am but sure that is the same at all hotels in the area. We would definitely stay again.

There were maggots in the bathroom. We found 3 on our 2nd night & 2 more the next day. The rooms need upgrading. Too small for 4 adults & 2 children. Valet staff are very nice, location was great. Loved the surrounding shops & restaurants.

When we told them we were going on our 30th wedding anniversary family vacation, they gave us a room on the top floor of the hotel with a great view and a beautiful view of the Hilton fireworks from our room balcony. We arrived around 9:30 and were able to get into our room around 11:00, which was very helpful. The only thing that was disappointing was that a large cockroach appeared in the middle of the night and caused a big commotion. But the location was great and we were able to go to the beach and shopping right away. The hotel employees were all smiling and I would stay at the Imperial again next time.

The room we stayed at, the Banyan, was a little dated but OK. The bathroom and kitchen were clean and conformable. The carpet however could use a good vacuum session or shampoo. We found clumps and or strands of hairs, not ours, at random places. On the side notes, the receptionist told us that it's cheaper to book directly through their websites, save on Resort fees and some other discounts.

This property is very convenient for the beach and dining. We were on the 22nd floor and the view was excellent for the fireworks. Not the property's fault, but the afternoon sun is hot and the air conditioner can't keep up in the living room area. The only complaint would be the Wi-Fi. It seems like once everyone wakes up I couldn't even load my email. Don't plan on any type of work if you are staying here. I had to go to starbucks.

Loved our stay at The Imperial. Our room didn’t have a view but it was perfect for our family. Our two kids each had a queen bed and two bathrooms made getting ready a lot smoother. The kitchen is ideal for this trying to save some money, cause it adds up. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. Finally, there’s an ABC store eight downstairs which was very convenient and the walk to the beach was a quick 5 minutes. It really is the best bang for your buck. Laundry and gym available. We never made it to the pool, but don’t regret it, we were too busy enjoying Hawaii’s beaches.

This is a nice, mostly modernized hotel. But our room was incredibly tiny. Maybe 100 sq ft. for a "sleeps six" room. Yes, there were beds for six, but you had to pile the rest of the furniture and your luggage into the corner to pull that off. The location is quiet from the city noise, being off the main road a bit and nestled near a couple dead-end roads. The on-property ABC store and other shops and restaurants offered plenty to do and see at the hotel, all of Waikiki is at the doorstep, and the valet service provided quick and easy access to our vehicle for distant adventures.

Hotel is located about 2 blocks from the beach and a block and a half for the Royal Hawaiian Center. It was an easy walk to everything! The Hotel was clean, the Staff friendly! A great find of you need something budget friendly. Rooms are a little small- and the bathrooms tiny. But we made it work! We did like that we had the Murphy and the sofa couch- each kid got their own spot which made them happy!

Imperial is in a great location on Lewers Street, 5 mins walk to beach. the rooms were a little tired and uninspiring, but we didn't spend much time there so didn't bother us. we had 4 adults using all 3 beds which made it a little cramped and meant no sofa or table to be used. main bed and murphy bed were very comfortable, sofa bed probably only suit 1 person on it. kitchen was great to have as was 2 bathrooms. Staff were very friendly and valet parking a bonus. We would stay again.

Great location. Steps to the beach and all that Waikiki has to offer. Unfortunately, the soundproofing was not good and in the mornings, the delivery trucks unloading and beeping would wake us up. Noise started as early as 4 am and could even be heard through ear plugs.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Not far from the beach, and a good shopping location. The rooms are well organized and they have most of the amenities needed for your stay. My only negative is that the beds are not the most comfortable in the rooms. The murphy beds are far more comfortable as well as the couch.

The hotel did not have the reservation I booked; they argued about the price I was originally quoted and tried to charge for an extra night. Would not stay there again and would not recommend. At least 3 other groups had issues with their check in while I was checking in. Also, even though the room had a coffee pot and filters, they did not supply coffee. I've never stayed at hotel that did not supply coffee.

The staff was amazing in all ways. They made us fee like family. Always greating you when you come walk by and always willing to answer the silly questions you have. The valet guys phenomenal and were amazing. So good with everyone. Different guys at different times of day, but was always the same form of service all they way around. You know your rental car (for us) was well taken care of. Loved that the hotel has weekly parking rates as we were there for 8 days. Laundry room was clean and easy to get to and use. If you need a room your last day ask for a half day rate. We checked out of one and checked into a smaller one so we could have one last beach day before we let at 7pm.

Great hotel for families! Really convenient walk to everything, beach, restaurants and shopping. The staff were really nice and hospitable! It was a trip back home I needed when I visited my sick Mom. The stay at Imperial was definitely calming and worth it! Definitely my go to next time in Waikiki!

There were no rooms available for 2 nights in a row so I purchased 2 separate rooms (wed- Thurs and then Thurs - Fri) Richard wanted to make sure that we didn’t have to check out and wait til the next room was ready, so he hooked us up to go from one room to the next. Great care and concern, great service!

It was difficult locating the hotel as there was no apparent signage for the hotel except one after we had already passed the hotel in our hopes of finding it. The hotel valet is right in front of a ABC store, so you weren't sure at first if you were supposed to be parking there or not.

The Imperial Hawaii Resort had a great location and great value for a 6-person suite with two bathrooms (albeit a little cramped... which we expected). The room was decently furnished and comfortable. Having a full kitchen was awesome (but the stove was an old coil stove seemingly from decades ago). Nothing else this close to the ocean (maybe 5 minute walk) that I could find was even close to this affordable. Wifi was great, front desk & housecleaning staff were friendly and helpful, and it's conveniently located above an ABC Store and Denny's right near the beach. The first of my only two complaints (this one they can't do anything about) was that trying to find the vallet parking was not intuitive (you have to pull into what looks like a walking area in front of the ABC store on the bottom floor). The other was there were a few areas of one bathroom that apparently were not cleaned thoroughly (we found a used q-tip on the floor in the bathroom under the sink, and another on the bathroom counter in the corner). This sounds really gross, but overall the suite seemed very clean (they were both found in a somewhat obscured location from obvious view). But overall, the value, location, efficiency of two bathrooms for 6 people, staff, and full kitchen make this a difficult venue to beat, and we absolutely will be looking here first if we're able to visit Oahu again!

It was a great stay. The hotel had everything I needed. Shops and restaurants are just downstairs and few feet away. There’s an amazing bar on the 27th floor and the pool is also there too. Amazing experience. The staffs were amazing too.

Staff were WONDERFUL. Located in a busy neighborhood so anything we needed was walkable. Parking (for a fee) was a breeze. Loved having the ABC store right outside the hotel door so we could stock up before heading out on adventures for the day.

This is our second stay and we loved it. The staff are lovely and welcoming and our room was comfy. Location of the hotel is great, close to shops and restaurants and to trolley stops. There is a Denny’s and ABC shop directly underneath the hotel which is super handy, Denny gives a discount if you are staying at the hotel. The hotel is also close to a lovely beach bar and steak shack. We stayed in a Palm Room which had a separate bedroom and Murphy bed with 2 bathrooms and kitchenette. Our room was comfy and had a lanai (balcony). The pool was nice too. We also enjoyed the activities including lei making. The hotel is reasonably priced and we would definately stay here again.

Really good hotel. Stayed in Koa room which was spacious with well equipped kitchen. Small pool on roof, but just a few minutes walk from a great beach. And really well located for shopping and restaurants in Waikiki. Valet parking very efficient, including when leaving for an early flight. I’m sure there are more luxurious places, but this was very good and excellent value. I’d stay again.

Stayed here for 2 nights before a cruise. Perfect location if you want to enjoy the best of Waikiki. Room has everything you need, and staff are all super friendly. The Denny’s and convenience store next door come in handy.
