Amazing location with private beach facilities and beautiful surroundings. Great friendly service that goes above and beyond expectations, fantastic breakfast and bar. Easy walk to cable car for trips up to Taormina old town. The rooms are smallish and a touch dated but still very nice and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel and staff were absolutely incredible. You’re literally a few steps from your room to isola bella and a comfortable beach chair at their beach club, the parking was super accessible, and you get greeted at the door with the most delicious glass of almond milk you’ll ever have in your life. Whenever I come to Taormina from now on, this is the place I will be staying. Grazie mille per tutto La plage

Amazing location, clean spacious rooms, staff are so courteous, friendly and really make the stay special. Buffet breakfast really good, free parking was a huge bonus. Sunbed included for guests which is really necessary to enjoy the beach (typically 60-80euros for externals). It is not super easy to get to the main town so need to take a taxi (20-25 euros) or cable car (10euros per person for return trip).

I can’t say enough about this resort. Incredible location and wonderful hospitality with impeccable service from every level of contact. The the private bungalow was clean and had a comfortable bed. Our bungalow has it’s own private patio with jacuzzi that overlooked the sea. Just incredible. Very relaxing and enjoyable to experience the uniqueness of that with the moon over the bay of Isola Bella as our companion. While the day is lively with energy and guests enjoying the beach, the evenings are quiet and peaceful there where you can hear the lapping of sea on the shore. The beach is like a dream. You never tire of admiring the view of Isola Bella. The water is so clear. Bring your water shoes for the stone beach. The beach attendants and servers were so friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious from the variety and quality at breakfast to the beach club to the restaurants. We enjoyed lunches and dinners there several times and the fresh fish and high quality was truly impressive. We were there for our anniversary and it could not be more romantic and special place to celebrate. The event space they have to host weddings and parties is so beautiful and we were there to see a few a wedding, a baptism and birthday- each unique and beautiful. Amazing location. We have been to Taormina many times and there are many wonderful places to stay however this beach location, the high level service at every point of contact make the La Plage resort one you should not miss!

La Plage has magnificent views of the sea and the iconic Isola Bella. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive. Be aware that the beach is rocky and hard to walk on and it’s difficult to enter and exit the sea for a swim. It’s easy to get up to Taormina via the funivia (cable car) for a 10€ round trip.

This place is a so great. The location is on the beach and you get chairs and umbrella on the the beach daily, which is great because can get crowded on the beach. The beach chair guys Hamza, Simone, Mattia are excellent, always looking to help out for any needs. The drinks and food service on the beach is excellent. They work so hard to get food and drink to everyone. Really nice people. Lost my tshirt one day and (Francesco found it a saved it for me.) Breakfast in the morning was so great. Excellent selection, great coffee, fresh fruit, everything you could want. The staff there are super kind. Front Desk is top notch. The answer "no" is not in their vocabulary. The make sure to help in every way possible. Front desk are all great but special thanks to Pasquale who helped make our last day extremely comfortable. Good guy. The room cleaners are fantastic and come twice a day. Seemed like the room was redone every time I left it! It is very close to the cable car, about 5min walk( longer for old timers due to some stairs). I read some complaints about traffic noise and the train. Not sure, really inconsequential. Never noticed it and we stayed for 3 weeks. This place is great and the best place to stay in Taormina since you are essentially on the beach and when done with the beach, back to the room, shower up and head off to the cable car and on Corso Umberto in a jiffy!

The staff are absolutely friendly and nice and helpful We checked in at one of the banglow suites which was very very small with a very bad smell but at 2 am they accommodate us to another banglow suite with no smell And got better and nicer. Lovely staff, amazing view from the restaurant, excellent location. Only stayed for the night in one of the small ‘cottages’ on-site so can’t speak for the facilities (apart from breakfast, which was decent). The room was very claustrophobic, incredibly cramped, with a window that looked out onto a dirty and peeling plaster wall and admitted hardly any daylight. The cottage was dingy and unloved, the small ‘garden’ unswept and grubby and pretty unpleasant. I dropped my towel on the bathroom floor and it came up filthy. Relieved we only stayed briefly for the one night tbh. Advertised (and charged) as five star, would say low four star at best. With the location and staff, could be wonderful with some $$ investment and a complete overhaul - but as it stands, difficult to recommend.

The property is dated and rooms look like they have not been changed since 1980. The location and beach are amazing I guess that’s why they feel they can get away with it. But for the price I’d stay up in the town for more elegant and beautiful options.

The make sure to help in every way possible. Front desk are all great but special thanks to Pasquale who helped make our last day extremely comfortable. Good guy. The room cleaners are fantastic and come twice a day. Seemed like the room was redone every time I left it! It is very close to the cable car, about 5min walk( longer for old timers due to some stairs). I read some complaints about traffic noise and the train. Not sure, really inconsequential. Never noticed it and we stayed for 3 weeks. This place is great and the best place to stay in Taormina since you are essentially on the beach and when done with the beach, back to the room, shower up and head off to the cable car and on Corso Umberto in a jiffy!

Sunbed included for guests which is really necessary to enjoy the beach (typically 60-80euros for externals). It is not super easy to get to the main town so need to take a taxi (20-25 euros) or cable car (10euros per person for return trip).

Only stayed for the night in one of the small ‘cottages’ on-site so can’t speak for the facilities (apart from breakfast, which was decent). The room was very claustrophobic, incredibly cramped, with a window that looked out onto a dirty and peeling plaster wall and admitted hardly any daylight. The cottage was dingy and unloved, the small ‘garden’ unswept and grubby and pretty unpleasant. I dropped my towel on the bathroom floor and it came up filthy. Relieved we only stayed briefly for the one night tbh. Advertised (and charged) as five star, would say low four star at best. With the location and staff, could be wonderful with some $$ investment and a complete overhaul - but as it stands, difficult to recommend.

I can’t say enough about this resort. Incredible location and wonderful hospitality with impeccable service from every level of contact. The the private bungalow was clean and had a comfortable bed. Our bungalow has it’s own private patio with jacuzzi that overlooked the sea. Just incredible. Very relaxing and enjoyable to experience the uniqueness of that with the moon over the bay of Isola Bella as our companion. While the day is lively with energy and guests enjoying the beach, the evenings are quiet and peaceful there where you can hear the lapping of sea on the shore. The beach is like a dream. You never tire of admiring the view of Isola Bella. The water is so clear. Bring your water shoes for the stone beach. The beach attendants and servers were so friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious from the variety and quality at breakfast to the beach club to the restaurants. We were there for our anniversary and it could not be more romantic and special place to celebrate. Only consideration is the sound proofing between rooms (probably not an issue for bungalows) - we could hear every word our next door neighbours said. If you want to find out what really happened on that Island at the end of 'White Lotus', Season 2, this is the place to do it!

La Plage has magnificent views of the sea and the iconic Isola Bella. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive. Be aware that the beach is rocky and hard to walk on and it’s difficult to enter and exit the sea for a swim. It’s easy to get up to Taormina via the funivia (cable car) for a 10€ round trip.

We like being on the beach, although it is stoney the sunbeds are comfortable and the guys who allocate them are very helpful and friendly. It is in a good location for us as we prefer being on the beach and not in Taormina town which is very crowded, although we do like to go into the town in the evenings. The life is close by and easily accessible. The beach club food is very good and the service at the hotel is excellent. We couldn't ask for more. We enjoyed a very restful few days

It is in a good location for us as we prefer being on the beach and not in Taormina town which is very crowded, although we do like to go into the town in the evenings. The life is close by and easily accessible. The beach club food is very good and the service at the hotel is excellent. We couldn't ask for more. We enjoyed a very restful few days

I can’t say enough about this resort. Incredible location and wonderful hospitality with impeccable service from every level of contact. The the private bungalow was clean and had a comfortable bed. Our bungalow has it’s own private patio with jacuzzi that overlooked the sea. Just incredible. Very relaxing and enjoyable to experience the uniqueness of that with the moon over the bay of Isola Bella as our companion. While the day is lively with energy and guests enjoying the beach, the evenings are quiet and peaceful there where you can hear the lapping of sea on the shore. The beach is like a dream. You never tire of admiring the view of Isola Bella. The water is so clear. Bring your water shoes for the stone beach. The beach attendants and servers were so friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious from the variety and quality at breakfast to the beach club to the restaurants. We enjoyed lunches and dinners there several times and the fresh fish and high quality was truly impressive. We were there for our anniversary and it could not be more romantic and special place to celebrate. The event space they have to host weddings and parties is so beautiful and we were there to see a few a wedding, a baptism and birthday- each unique and beautiful. Amazing location. We have been to Taormina many times and there are many wonderful places to stay however this beach location, the high level service at every point of contact make the La Plage resort one you should not miss!

We will definitely stay here the next time we come to Sicily. The staff was SO accommodating, and the property and surrounding areas are breathtaking. The restaurants on the property are top notch. Breakfast was SO amazing! I would give La Plage 6 stars if I could!!!

La Plage has magnificent views of the sea and the iconic Isola Bella. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive. Be aware that the beach is rocky and hard to walk on and it’s difficult to enter and exit the sea for a swim. It’s easy to get up to Taormina via the funivia (cable car) for a 10€ round trip.

This place is a so great. The location is on the beach and you get chairs and umbrella on the the beach daily, which is great because can get crowded on the beach. The beach chair guys Hamza, Simone, Mattia are excellent, always looking to help out for any needs. The drinks and food service on the beach is excellent. They work so hard to get food and drink to everyone. Really nice people. Lost my tshirt one day and (Francesco found it a saved it for me.) Breakfast in the morning was so great. Excellent selection, great coffee, fresh fruit, everything you could want. The staff there are super kind. Front Desk is top notch. The answer "no" is not in their vocabulary. The make sure to help in every way possible. Front desk are all great but special thanks to Pasquale who helped make our last day extremely comfortable. Good guy. The room cleaners are fantastic and come twice a day. Seemed like the room was redone every time I left it! It is very close to the cable car, about 5min walk( longer for old timers due to some stairs). I read some complaints about traffic noise and the train. Not sure, really inconsequential. Never noticed it and we stayed for 3 weeks. This place is great and the best place to stay in Taormina since you are essentially on the beach and when done with the beach, back to the room, shower up and head off to the cable car and on Corso Umberto in a jiffy!

Superbe hôtel très confortable au pied de Taormina. L’hôtel est vraiment sur la plage. Le personnel est attentionné et professionnel. La cuisine du restaurant Fusion est particulièrement savoureuse. Overall experience is not too Bad, for 3 stars hotel. Noway hotel is close to 5 or 4 stars, The rooms are very small, bathroom is extremely small and very bad technical condition, in need in total refurbishment! Breakfast par to Pension quality, Restaurant, wouldn’t dare to try, but looks very degrading! All furniture old, overused. Staff, being good people, but luck even minimum good hotels or restaurants experience. Front desk really need basic training. Management not visible at all

This is an exceptional resort hotel. Absolutely everything was top notch! The location is perfect, there is plenty of parking, and the bungalow rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast is delicious and beautifully presented, and the patio available for breakfast searing is just amazing. The views are unparalleled.

Overall a wonderful resort! The staff was so friendly and helpful. They came by every night to ask if we needed anything and kept our room super clean every day. The breakfast was great and awesome wait staff. Perfect location right next to Isola Bella.
