SpringHill Suites by Marriott Sioux Falls

Entrance was a little odd. Breakfast was not refilled and most items were out. We checked back 30 minutes later and it still was not filled.

Nice hotel. Finding it and where to park was somewhat difficult but it's a nice hotel.

Everything was clean, staff was friendly, beds were comfortable, breakfast was okay. The single entrance/exit for the parking lot is kinda funky but not a big deal. We will be back!

Check in & out was great! Friendly staff. I didnt realize there was no hot tub (my fault) & pool was tiny. Their "black out" curtains were no where near black out. Being a sensitive sleeper as soon as the sunrise hit, I was up. The curtains don't even cover the whole window which let in a lot of light. There was a huge stain on the comforter when we arrived. Also breakfast was subpar. No healthy options.

Ice machines not working. No amenity information in room (no TV information, restaurant information, etc).

Elevator was out, but they were able to move me to a different room on the first floor.

While I liked the room overall, there was brown splatters on the wall by the desk, something sticky on the desk, and gum on the floor by the lamp. Also, the shower seemed worn and not super clean. There is only one elevator for the whole place and by the next morning it was out of order. I was on the 4th floor and it was inconvenient to make multiple trips up and down when I was ready to leave. The individual that checked me in was wonderful - super pleasant and friendly.

Area is under construction, but still easy to get to and quiet. I recommend entering from the 49th avenue side past Outback Steakhouse. Great hotel, big rooms.

Service was good & the room was perfect! Super clean & very comfortable. The only issue was the ice machine was broken on our floor, but this gave me a chance to look around & find a machine on another floor. The location is perfect as well, lots of things to do & places to eat within walking distance. Liked it so much, booked another stay for another appointment we have coming up.

I gave a generous three-star rating, but I wouldn’t return for another stay. If I’m paying $200 for one night, I’d expect my room to be clean. My towels and pillowcases were stained, and toilet and the bathroom floors were visibly dirty. I chose to wear my sandals in the shower as it was also stained and dirty. I look forward to a shower after a long day of travel, so I was disappointed that, after my shower here, I did not feel clean. As for the service, the man at the front desk did a great job considering he appeared to be running the entire hotel alone. Checking in took quite a bit of time, but I don’t fault him for it as I’d imagine some additional help would have allowed him to be more efficient. He had several guests to attend to at one time. When I returned to the front desk later to ask for a few extra toiletries, he promised to send some to my room as soon as he could, and somehow, amongst everything else he was doing, he hurried down to my room to provide the extra toiletries. Surely, between the prices of the rooms and the costs cut in cleaning supplies, SpringHill Suites could afford to hire this poor man a coworker.

My room was very dirty. There were peanuts on the carpet, used gum and grime on the bathroom floor, the toilet had poop and trash in it, and the couch was so stained i was afraid to sit on it. The walls were also thin and I could hear both my neighbors and the highway outside all night. I expected a lot more based on the reviews and the price.

The staff was very friendly - The room and facility was very clean - The bed was very comfortable - And the breakfast was above par - Nothing but good to say and my wife and I will stay there again when passing thru...

Hotel was nice, new, modern! But not well cleaned. Our shower looks like it had mold in it 😦

I stayed at the Minneapolis location last month and the room was wonderful. So, I decided to stay at the Sioux Falls location thinking it would be just as nice. I was extremely disappointed. The room and bathroom were dirty, there were food stains on the sofa. The beds were extremely uncomfortable as were the pillows. Obviously there is no consistency across the chain of hotels when it comes to quality. Was only with a Super 8 or Motel 6 price.

Very clean and friendly hotel. Front desk guy was great. Breakfast was pretty good. Overall a great night sleep. We will stay again next time we're in town.

Rooms were absolutely beautiful, very large and beds were comfortable. Fully equipped with mini fridge and microwave. Staff were extremely help with suggestions around for the brief stay. Great experience.

Very nice accommodations. Suite is very nicely appointed with lounge area separated from sleeping area allowing for me to read while my wife sleeps.

The room itself was ok with the exception of a red-stain on the carpet by the bathroom, as well as the thinnest windows which resonated all the cars/motorcycles racing down the streets outside of the property (ALL NIGHT LONG, BTW). I've stayed at the airport in Sioux Falls & it wasn't nearly as noisy as what we experienced Saturday night. My real problems had to do with the inability of the staff to call out parents of unruly children. When we left for supper, there was quite a few 10-15 year old boys who were being obnoxiously noisy. When we returned almost 3 hours later, they were still in the lobby. Shortly thereafter, they decided that racing up and down the halls--all 4 floors of the property--was a good idea. Stomping & yelling/screaming at each other the whole time. After the third time they went storming by our room, I yelled at them to knock it off. I called the front desk and the guy that answered told me the boys' parents were sitting in the lobby & that he'd ask them to get the kids under control. It worked for about two hours, then the kids were back at it, this time with their phones & probably a speaker for as loud as it was. Seriously, where are the parents AND what's their problem?!? Why would the staff put up with it. Give the parents the boot--maybe then they'd figure out that there are societal standards they need to live by!!

The staff was great. The bed was comfortable. Didn't hear outside noise or internal noise from fellow guests. A very relaxing night's stay.

The location was across the parking lot of a mall and near many other shops and restaurants. We'd definitely stay here again.

The only bad part of our room was the heater/ac unit, it was not easy to get it to heat and when we did it roasted us out so when turned down the ac came on and made it cold. The lady at front desk was wonderful when I told her. Overall would stay there again! Breakfast was above and beyond!

Our room smelled like smoke and was not clean! TV did not work. Was very disappointed. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

They did not have the king room we reserved with Expedia. They gave us someone else’s room that had a wedding party gift in it but told us to just stay in the Queen room since Expedia sold us a room that was not available! Help and how are you going to fix this issue!!

Checking was easy room was very nice. The breakfast was good and staff very friendly. It was a great stay!

Very clean, updated, modern, and comfortable beds! Rooms were spacious and clean. Front desk girl (who was a manager) was so kind and accommodating — checked us in quickly and gave us a free bottle of water because we were all so thirsty but it was very late at night and we just needed to get to bed. Thank you!!!

Very accommodating, excellent assistance when asked about the TV not working, they fixed it while I was out to supper! And when asked for a room with a bathtub they accommodated.

Had a great stay. We were there for a wedding and the front desk was very helpful. check in was easy for 3 rooms. The staff were able to get us all located close to each other. It was a great experience.

Check in attendant was spectacular and very welcoming upon arrival and seeing her throughout our stay. All areas were clean, room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Beds were great. Great location. Very happy with our stay.

This was our second time staying here as we passed through Sioux Falls. The hotel is nice and clean. There is a decent breakfast. It is convenient to dining and shopping. My son left his wallet in the room which we did not discover until we got home. The staff had found it and were very prompt in their response to get it mailed back to us. We appreciated all their help with this situation.

Allison was the sweetest! There was a line of 5 separate parties waiting to check in and she remained friendly, bubbly, informative and efficient. She was so much appreciated. She does a wonderful job representing the hotel property. I went down later to get drinks and she was still just a pleasant, polite and friendly! The rest of the stay was great. Clean rooms and the entire property was well kept up. Will stay again!

Sheets would not stay on the bed. Asked for them to be replaced and they weren’t. Housekeeping did not visit our room one time in 3 days. Paid with a hotels.com gift card for the whole stay (3 nights) and they still Charged my credit card that was supposed to be for incidentals. Have Been try to get ahold of them for 4 days. Jake the manager is out every time we call and has not returned our phone call
