Great location and stay. The house was nice and very clean, all the amenities you could ask for. Definitely consider the tides when taking out the kayaks because it’s tricky in low tide conditions. We thought the house having no AC would be uncomfortable but even in the middle of pretty hot weather it was fine and down to 64 degrees at night. Definitely would stay again!

These hosts were great, provided everything we needed for a great stay. The property was exactly as advertised online. Spotless and clean and we took advantage of the many outdoor features…spacious deck, large hot tub, large fire pit with chairs and the lighted gazebo which came in handy when it rained. We rented in early June and the evenings were cool but plenty of heaters to make the outdoor space comfortable. All the bedrooms had individual air cond units. The property was nicely secluded. We had such a wonderful time with our stay here. Everyone especially enjoyed riding around in the 4 wheel, 3 person bicycle! The kayaks were nice too! The hot tub was so relaxing in the evenings, and the family loved playing the out door games like corn hole. There were 11 of us, and we had plenty of room in the house. Wanda answered any questions we had in a very timely manner.

Our family enjoyed this property immensely! It met every need we had for a group of 16 with so many extras. The kitchen was well appointed and stocked with many extra treats for fun...the smores bar was well enjoyed by our teens! The bathrooms were stocked with many extras in case anything was forgotten. The teen bunk room was perfect and fun for all. We had fun biking to trails and kayaking/paddle boarding with everything included. It was a bit difficult getting in and out of the boats unless the tide was fully in but the more agile among us managed it! The hosts were easy to reach and communicate with which was very helpful. We also loved that it wasn’t in the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor but was close enough that we could still enjoy several days in that region. The Schoodic region has amazing hikes and trails that were beautiful and much less touristy! We would highly recommend this home to anyone!

We were really happy with our stay, great house and lots of things to do (play ship for the kids, kayaks, hot tub, etc). It was warm during our time in Maine, and there is no AC for the upstairs bedrooms, but there are plenty of fans. Nice deck area for outdoor dinners and conversations!

This was a great spot for our student weekend retreat. Lots of fun things to do right there (hot tub, s'mores, and kayaking were all a hit!). Our kids spent hours on the playground too. Host was very easy and quick to communicate. Highly recommend!

Family of 10 exploring Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. It was both relaxing and educational. The house was great for all ages. The young kids had fun on the playground and with the bikes, the teens enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle boards, the adults loved the gazebo and the hot tub!The host had so many special touches throughout the house with s'more fixins, bathrooms amenities, and cupcakes! The only critique we have, and it's hardly a critique, is we wish the beds were queen beds instead of fulls. This house is very special and made our trip especially memorable! The host puts a lot of love into making sure memories were made.

Plenty of space for our family of 9. Kitchen was well equipped. Granddaughter loved the wooden ship play set. Bicycles and kayaks were great additions to amenities and were enjoyed but some needed maintenance for improved comfort would be good. Hot tub was very well chlorinated.

The hosts have a fully stocked home that is walk in ready. They provided many amenities that were unexpected and special. We had a group of 13 and this space provided a lot of large gathering areas. The location is private and off the beaten path and provided space for the kiddos to play and run freely.

The house was absolutely amazing! Wanda was very accommodating, and was always very responsive to any questions we had. The amenities that the house had was fun for the whole family! I wish I could rate this more than 5 stars! We will definitely stay in touch!

Our check in time was delayed a little because the previous vacationers left late. Once we were allowed to check in, the house was very nice. Almost all of the amenities were as described, and all the recreational activities provided (kayaks, bikes, etc.) were great. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

Truly had an amazing stay. We were able explore Acadia, while coming back to a place where the adults and kids could relax and have a great time together. The hosts were amazing as well and left us all necessary amenities and then some! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

House was very nice.everything was there for your needs. Owners were awesome to help us out on everything we needed. The house was located about 50 minutes from bar harbor. Which was nice because you are far enough away but close enough to drive. The drive was always pretty. We stayed for a week, but could have stayed for a month.great food great house great. Thanks for the great memories. Ted

We visited with family over the weekend and the entire process was very easy and welcoming. They had everything you could need for a stay. Everything was clean and organized. The owners stayed in contact with us as needed and gave us many resources for a fun trip.

Great location and stay. The house was nice and very clean, all the amenities you could ask for. Definitely consider the tides when taking out the kayaks because it’s tricky in low tide conditions. We thought the house having no AC would be uncomfortable but even in the middle of pretty hot weather it was fine and down to 64 degrees at night. Definitely would stay again!

The house is amazing for families with young kids from the pirate ship to hot tub to all the thoughtful fun things to do around the house. The only reason we took off any star was purely because it was a bit far out from most activities so we had lots of driving.

Our family enjoyed this property immensely! It met every need we had for a group of 16 with so many extras. The kitchen was well appointed and stocked with many extra treats for fun...the smores bar was well enjoyed by our teens! The bathrooms were stocked with many extras in case anything was forgotten. The teen bunk room was perfect and fun for all. We had fun biking to trails and kayaking/paddle boarding with everything included. It was a bit difficult getting in and out of the boats unless the tide was fully in but the more agile among us managed it! The hosts were easy to reach and communicate with which was very helpful. We also loved that it wasn’t in the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor but was close enough that we could still enjoy several days in that region. The Schoodic region has amazing hikes and trails that were beautiful and much less touristy! We would highly recommend this home to anyone!

One of my best VRBO stays. The location and property were perfect for all ages. Just outside the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor but with all the charm. A great area and property to explore. We felt welcome and the hosts clearly put a lot of thought into ensuring you would have what you need for an enjoyable, stress free stay.

The house was clean, had everything we needed & offered so many activities. The large table on the deck is great for family meals. The fire pit & smore's items they provide made for a fun evening together. The room downstairs was perfect for the children. It's a beautiful, quiet setting. Did note that you can only take the kayaks out at high tide so plan for that. We booked a fishing trip with Atlantic Edge Adventures & also did the Catch Your Dinner lobster tour with Bottom Line Fisheries. Both were fun experiences. If you want a vacation away from the crowds, this is a great option.

The hosts have a fully stocked home that is walk in ready. They provided many amenities that were unexpected and special. We had a group of 13 and this space provided a lot of large gathering areas. The location is private and off the beaten path and provided space for the kiddos to play and run freely.
