Grounds were meticulously maintained. The buildings and our room were well kept but it’s an older property so things are showing their age here and there. Pools were great but here is an insider tip. The pool by the beach is busy with a lot of kids and the bar is there. If you want to chill the pool over by the building with reception desk is much quieter with hardly any kids We had an ocean view room and it was spectacular. Lava was typical bar. It could use some updates. Rumfire onsite restaurant was fire. Great dinner there butterfish and lamb chop combo.

Our stay in Kauai was absolutely amazing and made for the perfect anniversary getaway. The hotel’s beachfront location provided some of the most breathtaking ocean views we have ever experienced. Waking up each morning to the sound of the waves and watching the sunsets from the property was truly unforgettable. The on-site restaurant, RumFire, was excellent. The food, drinks, service, and oceanfront atmosphere made it a great place to relax after a day of exploring the island. One of the best parts of this hotel was its central location. We were able to drive anywhere on the island in less than an hour and a half, which made it easy to experience so much of Kauai during our trip. Whether we were heading to the North Shore, Waimea Canyon, or the Na Pali Coast, everything felt accessible. The rooms were cleaned daily and always kept in excellent condition, adding to the comfort and relaxation of our stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate our anniversary. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kauai.
