Nice big rooms, short walk to the beach, okay pool. Dining is limited but drinks are good. Have a short walk to see the ocean but a little farther to get to the beach. Saw other place I liked but overall, I think this one was very nice.

I loved the pool area, ability to get food and drinks there. I loved that it was located near the Hyatt, I walked there three times to eat at the restaurants. Easy access to the beach. Beautiful walking trails. We walked to Puka Dog and the beach there had a great play area for kids and the beach waves had turtles.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed staying here for the most part. It was super nice and convenient to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The only downside was the shower drain was clogged the whole time and some things were not working around the building. There could be more umbrellas in the pool area but other than that, it was pretty decent.

We enjoyed our stay at Hilton Poipu Kauai. The property, although outdated, offers fully equipped ocean view suites at a reasonable price, super clean rooms and premises, nice pool, free parking, close to beaches and hiking, shopping/dining centers and airport. It is nothing fancy, but everything we needed on our vacation in Kauai. A solid 4 out of 5 !

The room was large, clean and had a lovely view of the ocean. The property was well situated for trips to southern and eastern attractions as well as those in the north. The only drawback is that there were no enough handicap accessible parking spots near our unit and not enough regular parking spots near our unit. Each day, my husband had to park far from our unit.

Expensive but not meeting value for cost. Old tired in need of massive upgrade. Room servicing just didn’t happen over 5 days but they came 1 day only in late afternoon after we returned from entire day out. Hear room above constantly. Loud aircon that was inefficient and woke us 5-6 times a night. Too hot to sleep with fan. Shower strength poor. 15 min extra to get soap off after waiting 10 min with shower on for any hot water. Lovely outlook though but long walk to beach. Half gym equipment not working. Won’t go back.

This hotel is very dated. Another reviewer was spot on about views obstructed by construction. It was spacious and quiet but it was awfully expensive for what it was. I felt like we did not really have an ocean view. The people who work there are lovely and we liked being able to walk to a good snorkel and boogie boarding beach. I wouldn't stay there again though...wasn't Hilton like ....it is more like. Wyndham. I wish I had read that review before I booked. Excellent pool for small kids though and decent gym. I would make sure you get this for a better price than we paid.

Right next to the grand Hyatt and its beaches. A short walk to Poipu beach. Very nice pool and great service at the pool bar. Garden view was off the pool and 2 bedroom large space with well equipped kitchen. Very clean. A bit dated like most resorts on Kauai I will definitely stay here again.

Dated property recently purchased by Hilton. Our room had not been updated yet. Very dated & dirty as far as walls, tub, floors. Close to beach. Pool/bar was nice. Staff were hit & miss. They talk you into a time share presentation in exchange for discounted Luau, excursions. Very condescending when you don’t want to buy into their Hilton points program.

Our room was dirty and smelled horrible. It was so bad we couldn't sleep in the room. Thank goodness for Alma who works at the front desk. She let us look at two other rooms but they were equally dirty. Because all other hotels were at capacity we were forced to stay at the Hilton. The third room was "clean enough. We are Diamond Hilton members but will be doing more research before committing to future Hilton Hotel stays. send.

This resort needs some serious cleaning and renovating. Our room was quite gross when we got there. Dirty showers and floors. The mattress on the pull out bed was so gross. They also only came to clean our room once our entire stay. The ac unit in our room was ridiculously loud. It kept us up at night. The location is great but the actually property is bad.

You pay for a hotel, you get a very old, noisy and Unserviced catering accommodation. They cleaned the room once in a week for a family of 5. We found cockroaches in the bathroom three times. The furniture and bathrooms are from 1970, including the kitchen doors that are greasy and sticky. There is a small bar by the pool that offer a very limited menu of poor quality served in cardboard boxes. This is not I would have wanted my Hawaii holiday. If you want a proper hotel, go to the Hyatt next door. Otherwise get a villa, you pay less and have much better quality

Service was excellent and speedy. Rooms were spotless. Any concern was addressed and everything done to make it a great experience. Lots of very nice walking paths, beach nearby but not on property. Pool was shallow, decor generic and couch uncomfortable. Great price for 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. We were very pleased and would definitely recommend staying there.

The location was good but the hotel was dated and dirty with cockroaches and ants and the room smelled weird. I was happy to leave when it was time to check out. My kids liked the pool and being close to shipwreck beach was nice. I would not come back.

Just a magnificent facility! Great location in Poipu beach area. I can’t say enough about how nice this property is. The amenities were fantastic and the room was just beautiful with everything you need including a fully stocked kitchen, living area and two bedrooms with huge bathrooms including tub and shower.

We liked the two bed room layout. The walls and floors transmit noisy neighbors so be sure to request a top floor unit unless you can tolerate dancing on the ceiling. Overall very nice and helpful staff.

We had a great stay, but will not be booking through Travelocity again. When we arrived at the hotel they had no record of us or our stay. The staff was amazing and got us into a room and worked with Travelocity on the issue. Overall, our stay was great. The rooms and grounds are clean. You are able to walk to a rocky shoreline, which was great to watch the waves and get some great pictures. The hotel is close to many great restaurants and excursions. I would recommend the Hilton Vacation Club to anyone coming to stay in Kauai!

The staff was amazing. I was worried because we spent a lot on this trip and the reviews I was reading had me totally terrified that I had made their own choice. Everything was wonderful! We had an oceanfront room that hadn’t yet been renovated, but it was clean and perfect for me, my husband, and our three teenage kids. We had an amazing time. They even text us every day asking what we needed and when we would text back, they would have it to our room within a few minutes. Amazing staff and a amazing place.

The staff was awesome. From The check in with Monique and the concierge services with Shania!! The room with an ocean view did not disappoint with whale Siri gs from our patio!!! Overall the room and resort was top notch and the staff was excellent. Shania was supremely helpful with local knowledge on hikes and restaurants!!’ We will be back!!

We love HVC, the pool is just the right size for our young boyz and the sun is always shining even if it rains on the rest of the island. The two bedrooms is super convenient for young families and Poipu beach is 5 min away.

Although property needs upgrade. the room is comfortable for a family of five. Needs another food place in addition to the swimming pool bar, the bar though provided good drinks and good choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but food got boring after a few of days. Kids somewhat enjoyed the pool, but swimming pool needs fun activities as kids can’t even play with light harmless ball.

Property was in a perfect location and great for our stay. Loved the pool area too! Rooms were very clean and serviced well. Only negative - rooms are a bit dated and could use a re-fresh. And would love more restaurant options rather than having to go to the resort next door for meals (only poolside service).

Our stay at this hotel was a bit of a mixed experience. On the positive side, the room size was great, especially for a family—my kids had their own bedroom and bathroom, which was a huge plus. The location was also fantastic, making it easy to get around. The pool was definitely a highlight, well-maintained and enjoyable. We also tried the food from the bar, which was surprisingly good and reasonably priced. However, the room itself could have been much cleaner and is definitely in need of some updates. The biggest issue was the kitchen cabinets, which had a horrible smell that made using the space unpleasant. With a little more attention to cleanliness and some renovations, this hotel could be a much better experience.
