Rented the “renovated” king ocean view room. There was nothing renovated about it. Old, stained, furniture. Black mold. Everything is an extra on this resort, everything. Staff was very nice. His was my first experience at Sheraton. It will probably be the last. Love Kauai and the people, best island in the chain! We come here often.

We stayed in a King room with an ocean view. Room was clean and comfortable. Had a problem at check in that they attempted to downgrade us to a queen room and was not going to honor the deal I booked on Hotels.com until I provided documentation of the deal and insisted on the King room I had booked. Staff had to go back to the manager several times before issue was resolved. Received the room and deal I had booked on Hotels.com. Stay was enjoyable. Dinner at RumFire was great! Make sure to make reservations ahead of time.

Staff was fantastic. We had a late arrival (11.30pm) and were treated with first class service. As there were no restaurants or stores open at this time the concierge put together a snack bag for us. She was very thoughtful and nice providing as much info she could about the island and hotel. When we arrived to our room she called us to make sure we found the room ok. The resort itself was fantastic and we had an ocean view so perfect view of the beach and ocean. Really enjoyed our stay here.
