For one night it was good, one elevator did not work so we had to take the luggage from the parking garage by ourselves. Our room was quite small, Windows’s can‘t be opened but AC is working properly. Over all a good location. No restaurant within the hotel!

Camera ampia, nel complesso pulita e confortevole, letto comodissimo. Bagno enorme ma sarebbe meglio mettere delle luci più forti e soprattutto sostituire il wc, perché è rovinato, macchiato e sembra sporco. Lo sciacquone dura tanto e dà l'impressione di essersi inceppato. La colazione è eccezionale, mai trovata una con una scelta così ampia, sia nel salato che nel dolce, e c'è anche un intero tavolo dedicato ai celiaci. Top! Excellent literie et très bonne insonorisation. Les chambres du 9eme étage ont une décoration un peu datée. Un seul ascenseur en marche pour 15 étages, le matin c’est carrément la blague pour accéder à sa chambre. Un sourire à l’accueil aurait été le bienvenu. Sinon bon séjour, hôtel très accessible au centre-ville à pied.

Very convenient location. Our room on the 10th floor was very nice and quiet and had a view of downtown and the castle. The staff were all very nice and helpful. And the breakfast buffet abundant. The elevators were slow, however. Overall we would recommend this hotel, especially also since the room rate was reasonable.

Decent room size and breakfast although slightly chaotic when busy. Easy parking for us which was helpful as had a large camper. Only one lift working which meant you went up and down past the floor you needed!

A very good hotel in all respects. However, when we booked the hotel facilities description was mis leading. The profile stated that breakfast was 'available', and elsewhere is suggested that it cost 15 euro surcharge. On the booking thread there was nowhere to include breakfast. When we checked in, a notice was displaying that ALL rooms are inclusive of breakfast. The breakfast was excellent with hot and cold choices. Lifts very busy at breakfast time, as people/tour groups also checking out. Our booking confirmation also gave a 15 euro beverage credit. We enquired at the bar, and the 15 euro could also be credited against food, although not a great variety of options. Main restaurant closed. Hotel in good location, clean spacious rooms, good shower, effective controllable AC, high speed WiFi. Close to railway station.

Muy buen hotel cerca del centro de la ciudad. Habitación cómoda y excelente desayuno La limpieza de la habitación bien aunque no le daría la máxima puntuación. Por ejemplo al dejar vasos sin limpiar después de la primera noche, seguramente por descuido del personal de planta.

Great hotel, walkable to lots of attractions, friendly and helpful staff. Nice towels, clean rooms. Great breakfast. Whoever is the owner or in charge of the upkeep, please change your carpets!! This’s a beautiful hotel on a great location. Your carpets are old and stained and give your hotel an unkempt appearance. Just change them to hardwood floors so you won’t have to deal with stains. Other than that you’re doing good!

Very poor sleep quality as no A/C room stuffy opened small window and had lots of traffic noise , the hotel didn’t have a fan, Room very dated possibly not ever been updated since it was built, Holes in curtains, heavily stained carpet, very dated bathroom . Hotel didn’t recognise my Hotels.com platinum card, so no upgrade, or late check out .

Probably once a great hotel. But not at the moment. In the room several light switches not working, bathroom door knob falling off when turned, pipes protesting when shower turned on. At breakfast, reasonable choice but items not kept stocked up. No bowls for cereals, no glasses for juice, no bananas on the majority of days I was there. Felt like the place was being run down

Ben posizionato rispetto al centro storico; facilità di accesso e facilità di parcheggio. Abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà a regolare la temperatura della stanza, che abbiamo trovato un po' calda. Purtroppo l'aria condizionata sembrava non funzionare a dovere. Aggiungo che due sere su tre del mio soggiorno l'acqua della doccia non usciva calda ma solo tiepida.

Hotel Lev, a.k.a. ‘Exe Lev’, near the center of Ljubljana, has 4-star pretensions, on which it is unable to deliver. Part of its snob-appeal is its supposed ‘design’, which could be improved markedly by visiting any Marriott and taking a few notes. Rooms are small (this is Ljubljana, not Tokyo) while hallways are enormous. Even so, the AC was insufficiently powered to cool our room (that is after I had to MacGyver it to engage in the first place). Not enough elevators for the number of rooms means people are regularly waiting around in the lobby to ascend. The small bar serves bottled drinks and overpriced, stale snacks; there is no restaurant. Staff is pleasant, but inexperienced; for example, three people could not figure out that taking 10 minutes at checkout to settle our bill of 0.80 Euro might be an imposition on our schedule. In short, if you charge a big-money rate, you are expected to deliver the big-money service for which dubious architectural accents and adding ‘Exe’ to your name is not a substitute. Better training, and better maintenance, guys, and maybe reduce the price by half to match what you actually deliver. Ah, almost forgot, alone in this disappointment of facilities and management, the breakfast spread was truly magnificent.

Peter at the front desk was fantastic. Very helpful. Pleasant and accommodating. It was a rainy day at Ljubljana when we got there. He went out of his was to give us brand new hotel umbrellas to use while we went out. He also helped with getting breakfast organised for our two days stay as it didn’t feature in my booking even though I had asked for it. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. And a good variety spread too.

I could take the bed through Italy with us - like sleeping on a cloud. Peter at Front Desk was super helpful, friendly and genuinely a nice guy. Breakfast was great. Located within really early to everything. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Check in was hard, unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Check in guy expressed that we were obviously in need of two separate beds even if i had requested a king size bed. Had some awkward time waiting for housekeeping to join our two single beds on one. While we were in the room. The room was old and the carpet was dirty. Not as advertised. Im thinking that the check in guy punished us with the old rooms with separate beds. I might be wrong, but i would not reccommend staying here.

Most elevators were out of service most of the time. Manager was rude. Simple request to make the twin room into a double bed (which anyway was notified ahead of time) never occurred. Zero housekeeping done over the multi night stay. Room was in poor condition with water stains and chipped paint. 250EUR a night should buy you a very good 4 star hotel in Ljubljana and this was not even worth 1/3rd the price.
