We stayed for 4 days. The hotel is nice and comfortable. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, no matter those at lobby or club lounge. We feel so welcomed and warm in Marriot. Food at club lounge is unexpectedly good. The food choices during happy hour time is awesome. We dun even need to eat outside at all! Spa at the hotel is good too! My therapist, Jiab is so nice and with great technique! I experienced the best massage here! Highly recommended!

Great location just a short walk outside of the old city and close to many of the night markets. The staff really went above and beyond to make us feel cared for. The food in their restaurants on property are also great and the service was excellent. They made it easy to stay onsite if you chose. A larger pool area or a rooftop pool would have been perfect but again it didn’t take away from our experience. Would easily stay here again.

The Marriott in Chiang Mai was great. The people there are so warm, caring, helpful. Had a problem with a lost passport. They immediately contacted both the airline and the taxi. One staff person- Man -was wonderful. First he spoke English so well and second he was always ready to help. The area around has everything. The breakfast is varied and good. The pool is nice.

We have stayed here before on 3 other occasions and found our stay this time to be very underwhelming. Twice the staff lost our drink orders by the pool, the staff in general were not as on point for what you would expect at a Marriott hotel. The property was clean however lots of tiny flies flying around the food at breakfast time especially the fruits. One day our door was not closed properly after housekeeping. It was quite alarming, luckily our room was at the end of a corridor so you wouldn’t know unless you were down that end - No one had been in from what we could tell. I remember coming here every other trip and having that, I’m on in holidays and staying in a luxury hotel feeling with the staff being absolutely amazing.

The Marriott Hotel in Chiang Mai is not a 5 star hotel by any standards. It is a soulless machine that lacks the attention to detail and charm so many hotels in Thailand can boost. Chaotic breakfast service with good variety but no heart put into providing food of quality; uninspired Thai dishes, stale factory bread, cheap tea bags... Dirty carpets in the lifts. Cheap bathroom products. Blocked toilet and leak from roof (which were quickly fixed, but nevertheless). The many little things that added together makes you feel like you are in a mediocre 4 star hotel. I chose Marriott for location as my favourite hotels in CM - Yaang Come Village, Tamarind Village, and the Rachamankha hotel were all fully booked. Depending on your budget, try one of these instead!

いつもは安宿に宿泊することが多いのですが、チェンマイではお安く泊まれることもあり利用させていただきました。ホテルはさすがに綺麗でスタッフの方も、わかりやすい英語で笑顔が良かったです。初日にシャンプーの補充がされておらず全くない状態で、それにはびっくりしました。翌日フロントに伝えすぐに対応していただきました。アミニティは良かったですがヘアブラシは設置されていません。立地的にはナイトマーケットのそばで毎日買い物を楽しめました。ホテル近くで、ナイトマーケットと反対側にある露店のご飯が美味しくて安かったので、ほぼ晩御飯はそこでした。チェンマイには宿が多くて、安くても十分楽しめると思いますが、高級ホテルの安心感も良かったです。

Wow. This hotel is amazing. Great location to night market ( will still need scooter or transit to explore other areas) amazing staff , super comfortable beds with food pillows, hot shower with amazing water pressure. We loved the gym ( bananas were a nice touch) and the pool area to hang out in the afternoons. Over all one of the best places we stayed in Thailand.

Staff was rude wouldnt put a Coke Zero on my tab until I got Baht. Water faucet broken in my room. It sprayed water all over me and the floor. Bed mattress was a rock. There were roaches on the coffee bar. Stayed 1 night out of 7. I request a refund now please.

During my stay at the Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel, I was comfortable thanks to Mr. Boyce and Arm from concierge service. In particular, I left a coffee tumbler, and Mr. Boyce delivered it to the hotel where I made a mistake. I was very impressed with his customer response attitude.

We were staying in the hotel when the earthquake struck on March 28. The management and staff were extraordinary in their response to the emergency - compassionate, calm and practical. After evacuating into the 97 degree's heat they provided us with water. 3 hours later sandwiches came out. Management provided regular updates. I have never been treated so well by a hotel under such difficult circumstances. Truly remarkable - a credit to Marriott, Chaing Mai and Thailand.

불가피하게 1박을 더 하게 된 메리어트. 서비스도 좋고 위치적으로도 아주 만족스러웠습니다. 비행기가 밤 비행기라 레이트 체크 아웃을 요청했더니.... 오후 2시까지 연장해줘서 충분히 쉴 수 있었습니다. 다만, 공항 가는 셔틀 서비스가 있으면 어떨까 싶습니다.

The concierge met us at the airport for transportation. Very friendly. The hotel itself has a few minor issues. 1) Inform customers already at booking that electricity will be off due to planned maintenance. 2) Inform customers already at booking that kid pool is closed. 3) There was no desk in the suite, as promised, making it hard for me to work. 4) The restaurant Favola having problem with executing orders. One person had to wait 40 min for a spaghetti with tomato sauce. 5) The cleaning is not 100%, day three we still find left over fruits. The club doesn’t have egg cup holders. For a five star hotel it’s the details.

Modern, comfortable hotel. Well maintained. My standout comments is about Breakfast. I travel a lot and this is about the first one I h ave come across in Asia that had recognised the differences between crispy/overcooked American style bacon and softer British style bacon. Thank you. I'll give you 10/10! And I could also get a decent pot of tea. If the little things matter in life, then this American chain has finally recognised that not everyone likes its hospitality 'American-style!' Well done.

Stay was amazing, except the breakfast, that was either too cold, too much added sugar and coffee/Cappuccino, were of no good. Brewed coffee was served that was stale and cold (all four days of stay). Breakfast was no pleasure at all.

There are 2 things that I dislike about this hotel, the lobby and the breakfast areas because they were always busy with lots of traffic and kids running around everywhere. The reception staff were pleasant though.
