Great stay at a lovely hotel, lovely welcome on arrival, evening 3 course meal was lovely (complements to the chef!!), bed super comfortable, shower was hot and had amazing pressure (needed after a long days work), breakfast choice was great with the Scottish breakfast being the perfect size for a hard day back at work. 100% be back for sure.

The Ashtree House Hotel was a piece of history located in the middle of busy Glasgow. Maureen and the staff were welcoming and very friendly. I loved the hotel and its historical feel. The cherry on top were the whiskey bar and the restaurant. We had a homecooked meal, that was delicious! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I love an older hotel with charm and this was it! Very friendly proprietor, excellent breakfast. Did not try WIFI. Located near train station and the beautiful Paisley abbey in the student section but still close to the Glasgow airport. No elevator.

This property is quaint, but old and up a steep hill for parking - beware if driving manual. There is no elevator inside and many small hallway stairs to navigate. Spiders in bathroom and windows in need of cleaning. All in all the ppl were so nice and accommodating. There is not an airport shuttle - they will call you a cab you must fund. Area is bustling and loud if you like that.

Very nice traditional hotel with well equipped amenities. Would be wonderful if a small mini fridge is available in the room. Should have beautifying the back garden and the front of the hotel with flowers to welcome visitors even more

This room was booked for my dad for a one night stay. The hotel was beautiful. Very tastefully restored to Georgian grandness. The room was compact but very tastefully decorated & he said he slept like a log. There was bit of an issue with the flushing mechanism of the toilet & he informed the receptionist. The staff were all very lovely & he enjoyed his breakfast.

Very impressive, comfortable and pleasant for our 1 day stay. Should have planned for longer. Only negative is with the bathroom where a few floor tiles were loose but was no risk to us. Staff assistance was excellent.

Maureen was an absolute joy. She was meant to host people and make them feel warm. My husband and I couldn’t be more pleased with our last night in Scotland being at the Ashtree. The bed was an absolute dream, great pillows, and lovely rustic decor. We recommend Ashtree.

The staff were amazing! The shower had the most water pressure I've ever seen in any hotel anywhere in the world! The bed was soft and comfortable and breakfast was good. Some construction out front but didn't see or hear anything happening. Just scaffolding, probably typical of drain maintenance.

Surprised to find the Hotel was a fairly old building, though saying that our stay was very comfortable. The lady on reception was extremely nice and friendly, and though we arrived before check in time, she went out of her way to get our room ready for us. She also noticed my wife was using a stick to get around, so she changed us from a room on the 2nd floor, to one on the ground floor. Which was very much appreciated. The en suite facilities were excellent, as was the breakfast, location was great for attending a wedding in Coates (approx 300yds away) and the security was also great. Generally our hotel stay was very good.

The rooms and dining area of the hotel and breakfast were wonderful . Maureen was a lovely host . My husband left his phone there and they immediately called the cab co and we got it back ! . Only not so great is the entire facade was under reconstruction- that’s great they take care of an old building but a bit daunting when you drive up . I would not let this affect your decision to stay here . It’s lovely

We had a wonderful stay! It was brief as we flew out very early but Maureen helped us get set up with a cab for the airport and made us comfortable next to the fire with a beverage before catching some sleep for our flight the next day! The staff was very warm with my children and even gave us a little history on the beautiful building. Thank you Ashtree House!

Proprietors Tom & Maureen were very warm & welcoming! They were both very quick to offer assistance with anything that might be needed (or even simply wanted 😉). Wonderful, delicious full breakfast, too!! Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in Paisley because of the team at Ashtree. Very accommodating, kind, and personal. It felt like we were staying at their home, not just a hotel. Great location, within walking distance to the center of town. Would highly recommend and hope we get to come back and stay again in the future.

The staff treated us like family. The food was excellent. It is just a short train away from Glasgow and Edinburgh. We were able to navigate easily to anywhere we wanted to go. On my next trip to Scotland, I will plan to stay there.
