I arrived to the hotel at about 11:45 PM and was able to check in easily. There was plenty of parking. The room had a fridge, microwave, safe and coffee maker in the room. I have never stayed at a Holiday Inn before but after my experience here I will definitely be staying at Holiday Inn's for future stays. The breakfast that was provided was excellent. There were quite a few options & even a pancake maker! I loved the designs of the room and was able to get restful sleep. If I needed dinner, I could have gone to the Chick Fil A that is right across the street. It is nice to have an option that is walkable especially when on long road trips.

We were placed near the stairs and people walking up and down them all night kept us up and we could hear the people walking above us. There were dozens of lady bugs in our room. I mean lady bugs aren’t bad but when you have dozen of them flying around in your face it’s not fun! The bed was the most uncomfortable bed in a hotel ever! Breakfast ok

For a 200$ a night hotel you would at least think the cleaning crew would take a little effort.. upon walking in the bathroom the sink had toothpaste spit on the faucet and in the corner of the sink, take no thought to it and rinsed off then later went to take a shower water pressure was about a 2 of 10 rating but even better when opening shower little black hairs all over the wall and inside curtain which I thought should be changed every cleaning… but then after my shower I moved the curtains to see previous wash clothes hanging on the rod… now seriously disgusted figure it was only one night so being clean get dressed and go to sit in the chair only to realize the arm of the chair was covered in a greasy like substance… breakfast was blah and mentioned to check out about the issues and he simply said he would let a manager know about issues… not really what I would have expected from a holiday inn express…

The room had hair in the bed the shower was still wet like someone had just gotten out of it there was hair in the shower. We called the front desk to have someone come correct this. Room service shows up with just a rag. No cleaning stuff or anything. Just wiped it down. I was very very disappointed

We drove up from Florida to escape huricane Milton. The staff at this Holiday Inn was very accomodating. Jasmine at the front desk was wonderful. She let us check in early. Also, when we found out that our power was restored in our home, Jasmine arranged for us to check out 2 days earlier without incurring extra cost. Big cudos to Jasmine.

They would not allow my service dog and I to stay. Then they would not refund my money. I went across the street to Hampton Inn and they accommodated me. I am disappointed and would like a full refund. To make it worse, there was a manager at the front desk when this transpired. Thank you

TOTALLY DIS-SATISFIED! I had to cancel my reservation made thru hotels.com. The info stated on the site "cancel by 6PM" the day before the stay. I started trying to do that at 5:40PM - long story, but it was about 6:05 when I was able to speak to someone (after not being able to cancel online and having a virtual assistant problem. Hotel.com then said they would call Holiday Inn Express to see if they would allow the cancellation since it was after 6PM. They would not. I had already called the hotel at 5:45 and was told to go thru Hotels.com. After being told they refused to allow the cancellation, i called the hotel again and was told the policy was a 4PM cutoff. I explained the reservation showed it as 6Pm and explained all the above - AND THEY STILL DENIED THE CANCELLATION. I am now appealing thru my credit card company. I WILL NOT EVER STAY AT ANOTHER HOLIDAY INN (IGH HOTEL) and will not book thru Hotels.com ever again as well. Totally unreasonable.

The Holiday inn canceled our reservation. We were on a trip to Western NC for our sons marching band competition. Which was just hit by the hurricane. We had so much unsurety due to hurricane we did pay later. Which we did before through Expedia. We paid when we arrived at hotel, with no problem. Well the Hilton did not wait for us to arrive at hotel and canceled our reservation. We arrived at hotel approximately 6pm the day of reservation.With no reservation no rooms anywhere and we had our daughter with us. We will never reserve at Holiday Inn again. Never experienced this before. I can see if we arrived at midnight. We had to go 40 minutes away to the SPARK Hilton which was fabulous. Thank you Hilton.

We were told pets shouldn't be an issue before booking. We then got there and left to attend a wedding, we received a call that said that we should not have pets in our room. We agreed to come and get the pets and leave the hotel that night to avoid any issues, but then we were threatened that our pets would be taken away and law enforcement would be called. After having the cops called and leaving, which we were en route to do anyway, we were then charged a overnight pet fee of 300 dollars, even though we were not allowed to stay for the night anyway. The manager or whomever was working was extremely rude and came off as very hateful and would not let us grab our dogs and luggage and leave without involving law enforcement. Will not be staying here ever again.

One night stay fr a local race. Check in staff were friendly and efficient. Got all my stuff to the room and realized my take out food didn't have utensils. Back to the front desk where staff gave me what I needed. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Plenty of soap, shampoo and conditioner. Refrigerator was cold for storing my race food and leftovers. Can't blame the hotel for rude guests being loud in the hall at 3 am. As a female traveling alone, I felt safe here.

Our favorite motels this year because of the most comfortable beds and pillows, good hot basic breakfasts, great hot coffee 24/7 and easy check ins/outs. And they dont allow pets so the rooms and elevators dont smell like a filthy veterinary office! Thank you so much for that, I have allergies.
