In all fairness they were having major renovations done. This was not disclosed at the time of booking. Main entrance was closed due to renovations. At one point they had to turn water off to hotel and this information was not disclosed. Found out about it when we attempted to take a shower and called front desk.I spent a healthy amount of money for the hotel only not to experience it at its fullest. Almost $300 per night. That was disappointing. Had I known before hand they were having renovations I would have chosen another hotel. The staff were friendly and did well enspite of the challenges tho

In all fairness, this property is undergoing a major exterior renovation which produced noise. All windows were covered with plastic sheeting. I’m assuming an inside renovation/sprucing up will follow. The checkin staff was great despite having to inform all checking in that water was off and expected to be off from 3-7 pm. It came back on by 5pm. Felt badly for them. My room was cleaner than not but could have used a little extra attention. Not my usual Hyatt Place experience.

The hotel was not what I expected. It was going through renovations and it looked a little run down. Furthermore, the pool was out of service, which was not displayed in the hotels.com website. When I asked if there was a scanner at the business center I was told they only had a printer at the manager’s office. They also charged me a $50 deposit for which I have not been reimbursed yet.

Horrible! The hotel was in the middle of renovations and construction! Walked thru a construction zone on the same floor as my room! The room smelled like fumes! Tried to change rooms but they didn’t have! Worse stay I ever had in a hotel

Booked a stay here for the night. I booked because I have kids. Pool was closed because it was green and had to add chemicals to clean it. Hot too was also broken for breakfast in the morning

Hotel was dirty, hallways were not vacuumed, noticed M&Ms spilled in elevator, not cleaned up until 2nd day. Coffee maker in room broken, towels cheap and thin. Hotel had an overall smell of deodorizers as if they were covering smells instead of cleaning.

Hadn’t been cleaned good. There was little hairs all over floor. The lock on the door was coming off. If someone hit the door hard it wouldn’t have held. Glad to have only spent 1 night.

Old Food found in refrigerator- and a cup of red liquid. Smelled terrible and then found refrigerator was broken- no cooling. Fan in bathroom did not work. There was a crack in the tile from shower spicket to tub and the handle in shower/tub area loose. TV only had 19 channels- compared to other room my niece stayed in. Phone had a short- no volume ability . Mirror that was suppose to be on bathroom door- had been torn off and just a dozen old glue spots there. This room looked like it had a fight in it from missing paint next to TV as well. Very displeased. Had to get ice on another floor to fill our cooler since refrigerator not working. Had to throw out a salad and juice- warm beer!! Will definitely not consider Hyatt in the future. Worst ever. Did tell staff at front desk- aware. Response was not sufficient- like- oh well.

Staff were polite, breakfast was good, room cleaning only happens every other day, they ran out of clean towels and guest had to bring down dirty towels to be cleaned. The upgrades in the rooms and the lack of was poor, like putting lipstick on a pig! The curtains were shedded, water damage on bathroom door. One room that we had to change had condensation in the window and you couldn't see out of most of it. Mold was growing in and around the window. The floor's in the rooms were very dirty. I would never stay in another Hyatt Hotel again! 😡😡👎

I recently stayed at this hotel while in town to celebrate my cousin’s 21 years of service at her retirement party, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment I checked in, the cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The floors were clearly not cleaned before my arrival — there was visible dirt and grime, especially in the bathroom, where the floor had stains that looked like they hadn’t been mopped in days. I requested fresh towels for two nights in a row and didn’t receive them until the day I was checking out, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that should be providing basic amenities as part of the stay. Housekeeping was by far the worst part of the experience — completely inattentive and unresponsive to multiple requests. The room was in such poor condition that I ended up leaving and staying with family instead. It’s incredibly disappointing to spend money on a hotel room and not even feel comfortable enough to sleep there. This trip was supposed to be a joyful celebration, but the hotel stay was a major letdown. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay. Basic standards were simply not met.

We stayed in one of the double-bed rooms. One of the beds was right up against the air conditioning unit, so the bed felt damp... The whole room smelled musty upon arrival, and after realizing the bed arrangements it made sense. Also worth noting that the bathroom is very small and the sink is not in the bathroom. Breakfast was small but suitable. Staff were friendly and the location was convenient for us otherwise. Get what you pay for.

Quick spot for the night it’s alright. Stayed in room 309, bathroom ceiling had soft spot in it that was bubbled; a/c sounded like a train coming through the room. Shower stained, couple of sockets didn’t work, smoke detector was busted/partially missing. Overall if you can avoid here I would recommend going elsewhere.

The staff were great. Everyone we interacted with was nice and seemed happy (enough) to be there. Overall, you can tell this is an older property. The upgrades are surface level and seem to have been executed without much thought for the people staying in the room. The bathroom was the sink and tub, to which our bathroom door did not have a working lock. On the vanity for the sink, there were ants coming in through a crack in the wall. The room was dark/dingy… just felt like the remodel process was rushed to make it seem updated enough for what current market appreciates. After we ate breakfast, which was really good and the best part of the stay, it was more a relief to leave than to stay.

This hotel has been renovated since the last time I was here. It’s really nice! The room was clean & spacious. The beds are comfortable. A/C was cold. There was a nice size refrigerator, but no microwave. At least I didn’t see one. We enjoyed our stay. Will book again.

Unfortunately, room lacked a lot of the basics; inadequate towels, needs more towel racks, bathroom door stuck, visible caulking of the sinks where they had been repaired. Absolutely atrocious to stay at or check in at. Myself and multiple people waited 2 hours or more and afterwards were told my room was no longer available. Terrible place to stay with multiple water leaks in the ceiling as well

Booked directly with the hotel reservations line and provided all my info. Purchased the room. We were on the way from a 12 hour drive. We didn’t arrive until 2AM, when I walked in, there’s one front desk rep and she stated unfortunately they are sold out and can’t accommodate us, despite the reservation being made and paid for. So she turned us away. We were exhausted from driving from a different state, 12 hours. The explanation was very brief and they never sent us a email prior to or even gave us a call to explain the changes. I had to show up for her to tell me and turn me away. I rebooked through Expedia and arrived at 12P, the front desk rep said there’s no early check in and I’d have to pay $50. She said I have to wait till 3P. I left, came back at 2:45. She said unfortunately, the rooms aren’t ready yet and she’s waiting for another team member to confirm on what rooms are ready. At this time it’s 2:58P. There’s multiple guests waiting to check in and get a room key. She’s nervous because she was told there are no clean towels in any of the rooms. All of the guests say out loud that it’s okay, they will come back down to retrieve them because everyone wants to check in. I also agreed. She gave us our keys and I went up to my room. Clean at first sight until you walk in more. The comforter had stuff on it, the floors had hair, killed 5+ flies, they had no towels, had to use their pool towels the whole stay, breakfast was underwhelming, rusted bathrooms.

It is a great place, just some minor things would make me move the grade up. The morning breakfast was a little below average. They could add more items. The staff was great. Rooms were great. Not many restaurants within walking distance besides the Cracker Barrel (across the parking lot). Overall a great place, very close to 5 stars.

This is a great property for a business trip. It has been renovated recently so the rooms are nice and basic and clean. I would not recommend a single woman stay here with some of the transients who move through the parking lot. Please note that is not the hotels fault at all!

We stayed 3 nights - visiting from Michigan for a Ft. Jackson graduation. As everyone else seemed to be as well. :) Great staff through & through. It was noisy the first night we checked in, but we chalked it up to all the visitors anticipation of family day at Ft. Jackson. Our bedroom was a king bed and a very comfy couch that could pull out if needed. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud…I was happy happy. However, the pillows…y’all - they felt like they were the size of a couch pillow. Still comfy as all get out, though (I just need more real estate for my noggin). The complimentary breakfast on our last day was amazing! The gal who made the gravy for the biscuits - chef’s kiss. Also, the best freakin’ sourdough bread I’ve ever, had.

We have stayed at Hyatt places many times and this place is by far the most disappointing visit we have ever had. Front desk was not as attentive as we would expect and check in process took longer than usual. There were no towels in our room, pool area was dirty, the pool itself was really nice, 10/10. No towels at the pool also. But the most disappointing thing was the “hot breakfast” the options were very limited and just didn’t look appetizing. The room was nice and to Hyatt standards.
