Great beach and restaurant. Owner was there every night greeting guests. Food was excellent. Entertainment in the dining area Sat & Sun was excellent, if just a bit loud. Close to, but not in Jaco - need to take a ride share or cab.

Decent room and basic. Resort is RIGHT on the beach, and stunning beatiful beach indeed! Nice pool and restaurant and bar with ocean view. Resort is about 10 minute drive from Jaco. Staff friendly and attentive.

Stunning beachfront restaurant setting. Enjoyed Warren’s hospitality. He is a class act and has a lovely resort. He’s updating the pools and I am sure that the rooms will also receive a facelift.

Ocean/beach front on Paradise Beach. Room was spacious with balcony overlooking main pool but the pool was unfortunately closed under construction during stay. Smaller pool was open and enjoyed. Room safe was locked and not bolted down to anything so pointless. Breakfast was decent.

The property is incorrectly placed on the map by Expedia. This is actually located on Hermosa Beach so no swimming in the beach at all. It's too dangerous. The hotel main pool was under construction June 2025 so we decided to leave the hotel and go to one that was actually in SOUTH Jaco beach for friendly beach waves you CAN swim in. The hotel did provide free drinks in the room mini fridge for the inconvenience of not having the main pool open. The drinks at the pool were reasonably priced. If you don't care about not being able to swim right at the hotels beach or the main pool (smaller pool was open) then this is an excellent hotel

I did not appreciate the fact that after the pool stopped the music at 8:30, other guests continued blaring music until after 11pm. Also, the door to our room did not close unless the deadbolt was engaged.

Conheço Terraza há mais de 15 anos, e entrega o que promete. Pessoal atencioso, muito limpo, muito bom! Recomendações para melhoras: os quartos tem chave manual, e não se abre o quarto sem ela. Não te dão chaves extras, então fica difícil quando estamos em casal ou família. O restaurante é bom porém muito demorado principalmente se está cheio. Muita paciência nesta hora! No mais, ótimo custo x benefício, e pessoal super atencioso. Recomendo!

This hotel needs serious management help. They have cesspools right outside the door of the rooms (the sewage smell permiates the room) . The restaurant is not organized at all, the restaurant was full at 8:45 pm, we only saw 3 people eating, everybody else was waiting for their food like us. We ordered one soup, and one pasta dish, and it took them one hour. BTW the restaurant advertised a 9:30 closing time. And a big factor is, no swimming at the beach (too dangerous)

Their ad said pet friendly, so I paid for an ocean view room for two nights. When I got there they switched rooms on me to a cheaper non-ocean view room because I had a dog. The girl said they changed their rules, but hadn’t change their ad yet. She would not refund the difference , over $50.00

Our room was close to highway route 34, and resulted noisy because of truck-trailers. Door entrance to room requires an extra locking device. A rubber matt could be an asset to prevent a slip in the shower.

Room was nice, restaurant sbd pool were nice. But orbitz had the hotel location wgere it was not!!! I booked it thinking it was at the end of Jaco beach but reality it was on the other side on hermosa beach on other side of rocks

Nice views of ocean and beach. The room was OK but basic. The truck noise was very bad at night from main road. We were in the building by small pool. Breakfast was good and waiters were nice. We enjoyed our one nite stay

El internet es pésimo, el día que llegamos la televisión era imposible de ver, busque ayuda, llego un técnico, validó y dijo que al día siguiente me resolvían, al final nadie resolvió el problema. Los desayunos son de regular para abajo.

Terraza Del Pacifico was a fantastic experience. The suite that we got had a view right by the beachfront and the sounds of the waves was very soothing at night. The have a wonderful pool you can swim in if the waves are a little too intimidating. The beachfront itself is an enjoyable walk with a beautiful forest backdrop behind the hotel. The restaurant at the hotel had fantastic food and quality service. The gallo pinto was the best I had during my whole trip in Costa Rica! The staff was responsive and assisted with anything. The room itself had an air conditioning unit, a comfortable bed, a large shower and a wonderful little balcony. I suggest this spot if you're looking for a nice stay in Jaco near the beach. Loved it and I will consider it again for any future trips down to this wonderful country!

Raquel at the front desk was beyond accommodating and helpful with her knowledge of the area and setting up appointments for me even though I was leaving first thing in the morning.. she was able to make everything I wanted to do happen!!! I’ll definitely be back

Hacen cobros a lo loco a la tarjeta de crédito. Aunque les envié los vouchers con número de referencia y autorización, tuve que pedirle al banco un estado de cuenta para demostrarles que me han hecho rebajos que ellos no tienen registrados. La de la recepción no tenía ni idea de qué hacer. Buscó a otro que me dijo que ellos "no tenían tiempo de averiguar porque estaban haciendo cierre de mes". Y cuando apareció "la que sabía que hacer" dijo que a ella se le salía de las manos. O sea.... hacen cobros y luego no pueden ni averiguar qué fue lo que pasó ni como resolverlo. Por dicha me llegaron los vouchers al correo, si no me llevo la sorpresa cuando me llega el estado de cuenta. Además: - las camas son viejas y descuidadas - el restaurante con pocas opciones libre de gluten o vegetarianas (que no están en el menú... se le tienen que preguntar al mesero) - el bar de la piscina está cerrado

We have stayed at this property several times and every time has been amazing. The staff is attentive and very helpful and the inclusive breakfast is great. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a small boutique hotel rather than a large resort.

Loved the fact that the site resembled an older Costa Rican hotel with great amenities and on the ocean. What was bad was the truck traffic occasionally using air brakes at all hours. Also they obviously have staffing problems on the busy weekends with wait time for a drink at the bar exceeding 45 minutes sometimes and the bar manager not able to make drinks, instead watching the waiting customers. The help, excluding the bartender, who didn't speak English, were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel and service were great, on site restaurant was very good as well. Front desk staff was excellent, especially both of the young English speaking young ladies! Both very helpful and friendly! I wish I could give Hotels.com the same review....why do they give you the number of guests that can stay in a room but not include an extra guest charge into the room rate? Very deceiving pratice that leaves the hotel staff in an uncomfortable situation having to explain! I'll definately visit this hotel again, but will book direct instead of thru Hotels.com

Check in the guy was NOT friendly. Wanted a drink, the only place open was the restaurant, needless to say we ended going into town to get drinks. Could not get served. Trees where being trimmed and branches fell less than 1 foot away from us. The only friendly employees where at check out the security and the housekeeping staff.
Check in the guy was NOT friendly. Wanted a drink, the only place open was the restaurant, needless to say we ended going into town to get drinks. Could not get served. Trees where being trimmed and branches fell less than 1 foot away from us. The only friendly employees where at check out the security and the housekeeping staff.

Great beach and restaurant. Owner was there every night greeting guests. Food was excellent. Entertainment in the dining area Sat & Sun was excellent, if just a bit loud. Close to, but not in Jaco - need to take a ride share or cab.

It had everything we wanted and very happy with the location and staff. Its close enough to Jaco and Manuel Antonio that it made it easy to get around. Definitely recommend and stay again.

Beautiful hotel close to San Jose, good for family, couples. Lovely private beach, though not for swimming. Staff at restaurant and pool can improve customer service, they seem quiet unorganized and take way too long to serve a simple soda, it took around 2 hrs to get an order of nachos at the pool, it was not crowded at all. A part from this, the hotel is confortable, nice pool and beach.

Room was nice, restaurant sbd pool were nice. But orbitz had the hotel location wgere it was not!!! I booked it thinking it was at the end of Jaco beach but reality it was on the other side on hermosa beach on other side of rocks

The property is incorrectly placed on the map by Expedia. This is actually located on Hermosa Beach so no swimming in the beach at all. It's too dangerous. The hotel main pool was under construction June 2025 so we decided to leave the hotel and go to one that was actually in SOUTH Jaco beach for friendly beach waves you CAN swim in. The hotel did provide free drinks in the room mini fridge for the inconvenience of not having the main pool open. The drinks at the pool were reasonably priced. If you don't care about not being able to swim right at the hotels beach or the main pool (smaller pool was open) then this is an excellent hotel

Hardly a 3 star motel. It’s located on the beach but the beach is not suitable for swimming as the waves are very strong. The breakfast is very substandard. The location is 10 minute drive to the city. If you don’t have a car, you are stuck.

We have stayed at this property several times and every time has been amazing. The staff is attentive and very helpful and the inclusive breakfast is great. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a small boutique hotel rather than a large resort.

Terraza Del Pacifico was a fantastic experience. The suite that we got had a view right by the beachfront and the sounds of the waves was very soothing at night. The have a wonderful pool you can swim in if the waves are a little too intimidating. The beachfront itself is an enjoyable walk with a beautiful forest backdrop behind the hotel. The restaurant at the hotel had fantastic food and quality service. The gallo pinto was the best I had during my whole trip in Costa Rica! The staff was responsive and assisted with anything. The room itself had an air conditioning unit, a comfortable bed, a large shower and a wonderful little balcony. I suggest this spot if you're looking for a nice stay in Jaco near the beach. Loved it and I will consider it again for any future trips down to this wonderful country!

The hotel is beautiful. The stay was great. We stayed for 4 days. Check-in was an issue though as my card, the wrong card was charged prior to arrival (we booked the pay later/at hotel option). This was eventually rectified. We also were not aware of the included breakfast until the 2nd to last day of our stay. If you're looking to swim in the Ocean you are not able to do so at this property. But they do have two pools. The little hiccups were small in comparison. The hotel is nice overall, it was clean, the food was good, and we felt safe although that wasn't much of a worry for us.
