We chose this property because it had good reviews and it had a pool. We planned on utilizing the pool as pert of our trip. The pool was closed. We were not notified that the pool was closed at check in or prior to check in. It had been closed for some time according to the front desk. We were not provided any type of compensation despite our request. The property was clean and comfortable. The only issue we experienced was lack of access to the pool.

The staff was awful. Very unprofessional. Not friendly. They had no maintenance on staff. My mini fridge was broken. There were no towels at pool. My room itself was clean and fine for what I paid.

I needed to do laundry, but the washing machine and dryer weren't operating. The desk lady was helpful, but we couldn't get them to work. She let me use the housekeeping dryer, after I washed the clothes in the bathroom sink.

Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Front desk was helpful when needed. Good breakfast-kids always love the waffles. Pool could of been cleaner for my liking- could see debris at the bottom of the pool. No one present at desk at AM checkout, left room key in box- I always like to make personal contact at check out.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. However, there were a few inconvenient things; the ice machines did not work, the internet did not work, even when I tried to sign on and provide all my information, and I was afraid to go into the pool area, based on the smell of the chlorine through the building, I knew it was at dangerous levels. I would be happy to stay again, but be mindful of the few things I learned from my first stay.

The quality of this Hampton Inn was very disappointing. The carpeting throughout the hotel was filthy. The pool water was cloudy and my kids wouldn’t swim in it. The whole first floor smelled like marijuana. My husband had an asthma attack in the room because of how strong the air freshener/cleaning products were. I’m assuming trying to cover up the bad smells.

We picked this property because of the pool. When we checked in we specifically asked the pool hours. Come to find out the pool “had recently been repaired “ and was maybe 60 degrees. We asked about switching hotels and were promised it had been fixed that morning and told the heater was up to 115 to get it to temp by the morning. Come morning still freezing go to the desk let me talk to the maintenance guy, oh there was a sign but we took it down after the guy fixed it. They “couldn’t “ do anything for us because we booked through Expedia. Before bed that night the pool was just locked and there was a sign out stating it was broken. Aside from that the property was nice, very clean. The breakfast was good and wasn’t the same both days. Just very frustrating they weren’t up front or honest about the pool, two very sad kids.

When I walked in immediately noticed the stained and dirty carpets. There was mold in the bathroom shower. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was fine. The hotel sent me a Welcome and what can they do for us. I wrote about the dirty carpets and they responded explaining the hotel is being renovated in Nov/Dec. Nice but no excuse forbeing dirty.

This was the dirtiest Hotel I have ever stayed in. Every hallway in this Hotel is stained with everything under the sun. There was a used bar of soap in the shower so basically that was never cleaned since last guest, also a half-full of complimentary mouthwash, so this was apparently used by someone before us? Foul odor throughout the hotel/room masked by non-functioning air freshener? Anyway we will never stay at this Hotel again.

There was a black hair on the lid of the toilet, there was a drop of urine on the toilet seat, the door had a gap of about 3 inches and constantly slammed when you closed them, the bathroom ceiling had mold on it, the hallways overly smelled of febreeze, the remote was never cleaned as it was disgusting and the door to open the fridge was falling off the hinges. The pictures on the net do not tell the true condition of the place. Totally NOT worth it, quite gross and won't be getting fooled again.

Was up coughing all night, couldn’t figure out why. Couldn’t sleep all night because of it. Woke up in the morning and opening the blinds, found wallpaper peeling back. Entire wall and surrounding area covered in black mold. Explains why we felt so unwell. Room was not well cleaned either, broken tiles, very obvious stains. Will not stay here again.

I liked everything about the stay other than the heat/air-conditioning unit leaking cold air into the room the staff was great check in/out was easy my only suggestion is to have more fruit options at the breakfast bar

Nothing really special or impressive about our stay. Hotel could use an upgrade overall. Carpet in hallways faded and stained, gives an overall yuck feeling. The TV remote in the room didn’t work, but we got a replacement from the front desk, and the staff were very helpful. The fridge in the room also didn’t work. Breakfast spread was nice.

The room was a king bed with pull out couch booked for 3 people, there were no pillows for the couch bed and only two towels, even though the room description says sleeps 4 when we asked for another towel the desk person said “that’s only a two person room but I guess you can have another towel”. Wasn’t very happy as I booked the room with 3 guests

I had booked a king suite through Expedia but was given a double accessible room after check in. I spoke to the front desk about it and they were very helpful and got me switched to the correct room. The free continental breakfast was great to have before heading back home after check out. Our room did have a strong cleaning smell, but it did eventually go away. The staff was not always at the desk so there was a bit of a wait time at certain moments if you needed something. Overall really good experience for an overnight stay and very friendly informative staff.

I booked this hotel last minute after looking at the reviews of a different hotel I had booked. Very glad I did. Front desk staff were kind and courteous even after dealing with other guests booking issues (hotel was sold out and online reservation sites were still allowing people to book that same day, thank goodness I booked the day before) bottled water and snacks were given to me and my son at check in. When we came back from the Jason Mraz concert, my son ended up feeling nauseated. The over night desk staff offered a diet or regular coke to try to settle his stomach as the vending machine that had ginger ale was having issues with its card reader. Over all, will definitely stay here again.

This is a nice hotel for the price. The woman working the front desk was an absolute joy to deal with and got us checked in quick. We had arrived quite late and already knew that was going to make it quite a hassle since we were on a time crunch. They offer free breakfast and the rooms are clean and comfortable, despite showing a few honest signs of aging and wear and tear. This was a great place to spend the night to avoid driving home in the country darkness after a Pine Knob concert (only about 14 minutes from the theater)

Arrived a little later. People were outside having a good time which isn't a problem until it was 1am and still were having a good time which we could hear load and clear. Asked front desk to ask them to quite down and the response was they are outside, nothing we can do. Went down for breakfast at 8am after a long night and they were already out of breakfast items.

We booked through Expedia and the staff was less than helpful because of it. A “manager” said “this is why you don’t book through third parties” like she was the one paying for it. The rooms were not updated and they didn’t have 24 hours desk staff. Would not recommend this hotel.

Nice quiet one night stay after a concert before a long drive home. Checked in just after midnight and it was quick and easy and no other people around. Checked out around 11am and also was quick and easy and quiet in the lobby with no one around. Breakfast was a full spread with eggs sausage potatoes and a waffle station as well as all the regulars like cereal and breads and yogurt and boiled eggs. We were glad to be able to get a breakfast with enough protein to get us home without needing to stop again.

Bathroom needs TLC I e. Caulk around tub. Rugs in hallway dirty. Toaster not working in breakfast area no substitute available. Fruit over ripe and gnats flying near bananas. Cereal Cheerios tasted stale. Room fridge iced up and warm called front desk but never addressed. Positive check-in desk staff pleasant.
