Motel 6-Rancho Cordova, CA - Rancho Cordova East

The Negatives: • Credit card declined at check-in for no apparent reason. • Room reeked of stale cigarette smoke and disinfectant. • TV closed caption did not work. (ADA compliance essential.) • Worst of all, wifi login failed. Tried on both my phone and tablet. The Positives: • Room was very clean. • Exceptional water pressure. • Very easy parking.

The room was falling apart and it smelled like cigarette smoke even tho it was a non-smoking room

At check in, they asked my 19 year old son for his ID and scanned it. They told me if anyone else was coming to the room, not staying there, but coming to visit they would need to check in at the office. I have never, ever had to check in visiting family members or friends if they stopped by or ever had my son or anyone else’s IDs scanned at check in. They must have a problem with homeless (like the one’s trying to check in before us). Stay at your own risk. Just a weird vibe overall.

Clean updated rooms, very pet friendly, secured secure property in a less desirable area, but owners ensure that guest are not bothered by homeless population and the majority of the guest regulars are very welcoming

Great location but the quality is lacking. I thought from the photos that the place had a facelift but the workmanship in the 'improvements' or remodel is poor. But the room was clean. Towels a bit threadbare. Price is reasonable for what they offer, or don't.
