Hotel was under construction. Bed was comfortable.

The tv wasent working and the pool was not available.

No fridge, microwave, coffee maker, table, chairs, luggage carts in room. Just 2 beds, tv and phone. Dirty room, wax on floor, only 1 light by the door for entire room. Indoor pool closed. Received a full refund and left to stay at another hotel. Checked my credit card statement and now see i was charged a 2nd time for the stay so will have to dispute the charge.

Room clean, no chairs or garbage cans. Not able to adjust air conditioner, toilet not workinh.Hptel staff didnt cakk expedia to cancel sobwe had to wait u til motel could find us a room. Because of the toilet issue we were switching rooms at 1030 at night. There was a party in the room next doorand so.eo w was banging on our door. Heated pool was empty.

Was a good location for a 2 night stay. With the renovations happening, made our stay a little inconvenient with construction going on in the mornings. The rooms have are minimal; no trash bins or a working TV. Besides that, friendly staff and easy parking.

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was closed. People at the front desk were friendly.

Staff was very helpful, I was disappointed that the pool was closed for the season. The TV was broken, the staff made many attempts to fix it. The Manager was very sorry and refunded my complete payment which was very nice of her.

Pictures online were very misleading. Rooms did not look half as good in person. There was no hair dryer, closet space, tissues, or even pen and paper. There was only 3 pillows on our king bed with a bright light strip running across the top of head board that we could not shut off. Had tonuse blanket to cover up light so could sleep. No outlets and only 1 set of towels per person so 2 all together for our weekend stay. Just fell like for the price that they charge per night that it could have been a little more accommodating and cozy P.S. - Elevator was definitely a little sketchy.

Choose this hotel based on price. Not sure if it was worth the savings. Room smelled like there was a smoker in there. Was looking forward to using the Pool, but it was closed. Had issues getting the TV to work. When we arrived there was a used bar of soap sitting out.

The motel was so dirty, I can deal with a lot but this place was disgusting. Walking to the room was gross, all carpets had stains. The bedding was stained and didn't look washed. The bathroom wasn't cleaned. Uber drivers told us to try and be careful there because of the type of people that stay there. The rooms were bare, you had the beds and the tv area, a mini fridge and that's it. No amenities.

This is definitely a Motel 6 and you get what you pay for, that’s for sure. I stayed here for 3 nights - The first night I checked in and all was fine until I started walking up to my room. In the hallway of my room I saw a door with a towel rolled up in front of the doorframe… a few steps further and I noticed a couple cockroaches roaming around. When I got to my room I noticed a cockroach exiting the doorway. I scoped it out and didn’t find anymore that night. The second night when I returned to my room I went to flush the toilet and saw several cockroaches scurry under the floorboard. I debated getting another hotel room but everything was far too overpriced so last minute I couldn’t afford it. So I went down to the front desk to ask to switch rooms. They were in the middle of a shift change so I waited in the lobby until they were done. While I was waiting in the lobby, another customer came down to ask for a room change as well - no idea what for though. We did the room change and they moved me from the third floor to the first floor (it seemed like they were doing renovations to the first floor because it was all set up like they were doing recent construction. That room was awesome. Major “upgrade” from what I was previously in. The water got very hot, the bathroom fan worked, but more importantly - no cockroaches!! The third night was fine as well, no cockroaches. The front desk staff was incredibly nice and helpful in this situation as well.

Roaches!!! Flooded ADA bathroom!!! BED BUGS!!! and construction! Need more say more!

If it weren't for the gentleman at the front desk during check in who was very helpful and friendly, I would give this motel negative stars. The front desk and hallways were filthy but were cleaner than the room. Floors between the beds were sticky, dirty, with hair stuck on them. We were so disturbed that we wanted to leave but it was 10:30 at night when we checked in. We barely slept because we were scared of the area which had homeless people living in a truck in the parking lot, the locks on the doors were flimsy, walls were like paper, curtains filthy. I didn't trust my luggage even on the counter. This hotel needs to be closed. I've never been in a worse place!

Non-smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke, room was on first floor and window to parking lot would not lock. Cockroaches were coming out desk below tv screen. Halls lined with paper and taped to carpet. Staff issued reimbursement so that was nice.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed, and I urge you to avoid it at all costs. The cleanliness was unacceptable, with blood stains, other types of stains, and hair all over the sheets. The toilet was completely non-functional, and the beds were broken. I strongly advise against staying here, and I will never return to this place. I give this place 0 Stars

Smelled terrible ROACH INFESTED I literally left immediately after checking in didn’t even ask for a refund I got lucky and the HILTON down the road had a cancellation and it was CHEAPER don’t stay here it’s literally better to sleep in a field somewhere.

Property was very dirty. Saw a cockroach running behind a bed. No tv services all channels were scrambled

There was roaches in my room and there was gum in the peep hole a cup of cigarettes out side of the window mold all over the shower it was absolutely disgusting the remote to the tv had no back or numbers on the remote most definitely the worst place I’ve ever stayed

Parking was fine. And front desk was very nice. But there was no tv, and maintenance spent over an hour trying unsuccessfully to fix it. The heater did not work, the WiFi did not work. The good news is that they let me stay an extra hour.

One of the cheaper areas to stay for visiting Salen in October. The rooms are dated, our bathroom door didn't close all the way. The beds were comfortable, clean, staff was very welcoming

The walls are thin so it’s noisy

No hot water. Room phone wasnt working so I couldn't contact the front desk. TV remote missing a battery and the back. Bedding was pleasantly clean and comfortable.

Great spacious room with microwave and mini fridge. 4 adults all slept comfortably one their queen beds and pet friendly was a huge plus! The only thing we needed was a hair dryer in the room but they have it available at the front desk if you ask for one.

The room door didn't close correctly. Had to lift up then push to get it to close. Personal hair dryer would not plug into the ground fault outlet in bathroom. It plugged into the outlet on the end table. 2 stars on Staff & Service only because one of the party's reservations got cancelled 24 hrs before check in. Reservations were made three weeks prior. Check-in went smoothly. The refrigerator was cold!!!

Overall, it was what was expected plus some creepy crawly friends. Three roaches in our room. One was already dead upon arrival in the bathroom. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned up. Beds were clean but the room was BARE. Only a mini fridge, microwave on top and one dining chair seat. There was nowhere to hang any towels in the bathroom let alone our bags. Bugs were crawling on the walls so we were afraid to put our bags on the floor but had very little options. Only stayed one night and wouldn’t stay longer. When u told the attendant in the morning she looked like she already knew.

The room we were in was crazy. I had to shoulder hit the door to the room to get it to open as it wouldn’t open with just the key. There were no trash barrels in the room at all. There was no furniture in the room, only the beds and the thing where the tv was. No chairs no table. The bathtub had stains in it and when we were going to use the shower there were bugs in the shower curtain.

There were 5 men in the office. There were also 2 cop cars in the front. I didn't want to stay there anymore. They tried looking up my reservation but couldn't locate it. I told them to cancel it. They told me, we'll cancel it. Sure enough, they didn't. I tried calling but the office gave me the run around. Now I'm paying for a room I didn't use.

The girl we dealt with was very helpful. 1st room, Key didn't work, then wrong bed setup. Next room tv didn't work, next room no fridge or microwave. 4th room smelled, but we sprayed it, didn't want to move again. 3rd day key stopped working. Manager didn't want to hear anything, just said sorry

When we arrived at 2:30am after driving for 8 1/2 hours, we were told that they were overbooked and had no rooms left. I booked it 4 hours earlier, so I’m not sure what actually happened.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. They were helpful and accommodating when my friend wanted to change rooms.

I made the reservation on Sept 8. The motel called at5:46pm Sept 26 th and said “we are overbooked so my boss cancelled your reservation”. Not impressed. There were 3 other rooms in my party. We drove to Danvers with family for a family trip and went to the motel with them, they all checked in and we drove back home. So much for a family trip.

Although the staff was friendly and as helpful as possible my reservation was lost, my room was not what i booked, and i left in the morning and when i returned all of our toiletries had been bagged and placed in the bathroom sink with no explanation even when i returned to the hotel. I am supposed to be refunded for the stay, we shall see!

I have never in my life left a review before, but after my experience with my wife here last night, I had to. To start, it was not clean, I felt very unsafe, and people were just randomly hanging around the premise. Around 11:30PM, My wife and I were awakened by a woman banging on our hotel door trying to open it. She was screaming that they needed to see our faces because we were “not supposed to be in that room”. She told us she would call the police if we did not open the door. This room was rightfully ours since we reserved it online, so I yelled back that if they did not leave, I would do the same. The front desk clerk came and yelled the same thing as the lady beforehand. I opened the door slightly, and with frustration, asked the Clerk if he recognized me after seeing my face, he said yes. He was literally holding the document we both signed at check-in just hours earlier. Being frustrated that I was woken up, I yelled for both of them to leave immediately. I slammed the door, locked it, and stayed up all night to make sure nobody came again. To make matters worse, the next morning, we told the new Clerk at the front desk the chaotic event from last night. To my surprise, he answered that everything was okay and it was simply a misunderstanding. In complete shock, I answered it was not okay. Since then, no one has apologized or recognized what happened that night. Moral of the story: don’t ever stay at Motel 6. This deserves ZERO stars.

The price reflects the room. If you are going to Salem for Halloween this is a decent hotel to stay in that is close to Salem. However, we had issues with the water in the bathroom. The first night the hot water was not working. Second, which I have to say the hotel cannot monitor, guests in the rooms next to us were smoking weed, so the smell permeated our room.

Location was perfect away from city noise

The place isn’t a looker. The bathroom looked like It had cig burn holes on the tub. The hallways were outdated. The area was Shaddy looking. The place felt haunted. We either heard fighting, knocking or walking every night. The phone would ring in the elevator for a random reason. We did stay the whole 4 nights for the price of one night in Salem during October, so it was what it was. With that said…The staff were fantastic!!! The overnight man working Friday and Saturday night was wonderful. I originally booked for 3 nights and ended up coming in early a night. The manager was able to adjust my stay the next day so I didn’t have to move rooms. The room Itself was clean. No garage bags tho. We didn’t get any kind of clean up during the 4 nights there. Again.. it is what it is kinda place. The hotel was 20 mins to Salem. There is many restaurants near by so all and all.. far from the worse I’ve seen.

Didn’t seem to be in a safe area. We drove to the hotel and left because we didn’t feel good about it.

Great pillows, bedding, Hot clean shower! Close to Salem!

Staff was friendly and pleasant but the room needed some upkeep with discolored paint spots on the walls and minor repairs in the bathroom chalking and door. Overall fit the bill of just needed a place to crash for the night and the locations was perfect to get to Salem and get back out.

The rooms were clean and cozy enough. They served their purpose and were reasonably priced for being Halloween weekend near Salem. What is making me hesitant about ever staying there again was the fact that the rooms lacked a coffee pot and none of the 3 vending machines, that were as easy to find as Waldo hidden in a sea of candy canes, had coffee. We had no idea that they set out coffee in the lobby in the mornings until we went down to retrieve our coffee delivery from Uber eats

Horrible place to stay. No deli, snacks, soda machines are out of most soda. Asked for extra pillow, was told they have none. Pool was closed. Pot smell everytime we walked down the hall way. Bathroom door stuck if you closed it all the way. Needed someone on the outside to help you out. Beds we not comfortable. Bathroom hair dryer looked like it hadn't been washed in 20 years. Bathroom vent was disgusting with paint slapped on it. I wish i didnt have to stay there i didnt feel safe at all. The door sign said to make sure you lock the deadbolt while in the room alsi make sure you lock your vehicle when you leave it. V
