Very nice place! Friendly staff. The place advertised their swimming pool but it was closed and would not open for another month. Very disappointing. The pool was the reason I selected this hotel.

We are local and were celebrating my younger son's birthday. His only request was to stay at a hotel with a pool. We get there the pool was closed because someone pooped in it. We were told it would open again at 10 am in the morning so I got a late check out thinking we could at least have an hour. It still was not operating. There were lots of food stains in furniture and a ripped curtain. No towels in the gym. The staff was nice enough and thankfully we had vouchers for the bistro but that food is too expensive for what was offered.

The check in was great. She was very nice and quick. We got to our room, it was a little warm. We turned the air down. It never got cool. We went down to look at the pool. It was green! Couldnt see through it. Thats one of the main reasons I booked this place. Too bad we cant use the pool. At midnight the ac unit started making a loud noise. My daughter couldnt sleep. She went to the truck to cool off and get some sleep. She had a state test the next morning at 7:45. So much for a relaxing night.

Room was a bit run down.. but overall it met our needs for the night. Be careful parking. Don’t leave anything in the car. Two cars around ours had their windows broken out over night. Police were in the lot in the morning.

It was a great stay. The check in gal was super friendly and very helpful. Everything was very clean only thing I would say is that the carpet in the hallway was ripped but other than that it was very clean.

Hotel and bar/dinner staff were amazing & had pleasant attitudes. The breakfast bistro staff was a little hit or miss on helpfulness depending on who i talked to but it was nothing to complain about. Rooms were very clean. The gym is clean and quiet. Drinks and dinner at the bistro/bar were good.

We did not realize when booking that there is no free coffee or breakfast downstairs. Somehow we missed that. We had to pay $6 for drip coffee downstairs. My star rating doesn’t reflect that we did not see that. When we checked in the clerk was nice, and asked if we wanted the 2nd or 3rd floor. We decided 3rd bc no one would be above us. They failed to mention the hallway air was out on the 3rd floor. When we came back from dinner I asked if they knew the air was out and they said they did. It would have been nice if they said when we made our choice of floors “By the way the air in the hallway is out on the 3rd floor, and the available room is very far from the elevator”. It was EXTREMELY HOT in the hall. Also, the room smelled like my grandmother’s basement. Musty. The air conditioner was excellent and kept us cool inside the room and the bed was comfortable. Other wise this would have been a one star review. Choose the other hotel nearby with better ratings and free coffee if you don’t need a bar.

It’s was a horrible stay. The rooms were dingy, dirty and unkept! The toilet constantly running and the ac was very loud. The carpet was dirty and the couch was soiled. Gross!

Hotel had a very unpleasant smell in the main hall and the room wasn't very clean (had a large chunk of fingernail on the bathroom counter - ugh). Overall, the facility is worn and a little dingy. On the plus side, all of the employees we encountered were great and went out of their way to be friendly.

Mold in bathroom. No free coffee or breakfast. Rude staff. No houseboy replenish cups, towels, make bed or clean up. Room wasn’t in very good shape when checked in. Two night stay and I should have moved out. I was just too tired to pack up and move on. After 2nd night I left. Also a 40.00 charge was added to my room bill plus a 1:00 charge. No explanation. I blocked payment of the 40,00 charge to my Card.

The curtain on the windows was ripped and the heavy window shade was not in good condition! The area around the drain in the bathtub was black and needed to be scrubbed! The poorest Courtroom room I have stayed in. Check in was wonderful as the staff was efficient and pleasant!

stayed in 2 different rooms on 2 consecutive nights. in both rooms the main room light (operated by the switch immediately inside the door) was inoperable. In the 2nd room the cover for the AC unit was missing, meaning the lights from that were shining all through the night. In both rooms the blinds did not close completely. There was only 1 single-serve portion of coffee provided in the room. Everything beyond that needed to be purchased from the "bistro". I don't stay in hotels often so maybe that's standard now, but was certainly disappointing.

Rooms in property are very old , 32 inc TV almost 10 year old , bathroom condition is pathetic. Extra sofabed that we were charged had spring coming of matrices. Two twin bed does not have head. AC is in poor condition not sure why i paid around 200 bucks

This was my 3rd time staying at this location. I like it because of the office layout that the rooms have. However this room was a smaller configuration and it was not as comfortable. My office chair was broken and not very stable, the love seat was not comfortable either. There is also a limited and sparce hotel store if you will that is overpriced for what it has to offer.

Realized early in the evening that the AC in my first room was not working. They switched our rooms around 11pm. The next morning in the new room, we realize that the Wi-Fi and all phones in the hotel were down. This was essential to me since I went for business.

This hotel needs work. Our room was ok but the mattresses were not great. No little speciality items like makeup remover or lotions. The elevator was also broke. The check in n out people were nice.

I stayed only two nights. Many problems may have been due to large number of families with children. However, my room was not serviced at all, ice machine was always empty, elevator was out of order, and curtain would not close all the way. However, the front desk staff was most helpful at checkin.

The lady who checked me in was on her phone the whole time it took her 15mins to get me situated and I had a reservation already paid in full. My tv had no remote and she told me she didn’t have one to give me. Then I realized she put me in a handicapped room and the shower made a mess she said she didn’t realize it but she could switch me. She just had terrible customer skills. The room however was very clean

Bathroom wasn't clean upon arrival at 7:30pm. Informed front desk the following morning. Bathroom still was not cleaned when I returned that evening. Counting - 2 days of uncleaned bathroom. Alerted front desk and was told that the manager would be notified first thing the next day. Note was put in my reservation file. Called front desk at 7am (Day 3) to ask that housecleaning come right away. Was told housecleaning didn't arrive on the property until 9am. Call front desk at 9:15am, as no one had come to clean bathroom. Was told that Do Not Disturb sign was on the door. No sign my door. At 9:30am called front desk again and was told that housecleaning came by and there was no one in the room. I was sitting in the room. Went down to the front desk at 10am, to be told that they had gone to the the wrong room twice. SHM.

For the most part . I would say that they were understaffed. It took 45 minutes to check in and somehow there were two reservations and my card was charged 3 times . I will admit that most of the staff was professional at night time however, sitting on your cell phone while at the front desk didn’t seem inviting .

Average type hotel with small rooms. The hotel was clean but sits at the street of route 74 that is very busy and difficult to exit property. Found it easier to take a back alley and around to find shops that are a bit further away and better restaurants.

Nice hotel with great amenities. Clean and housekeeping knocked daily for anything we might need. The staff was always nice and greeted everyone with a smile. Location was great for a weekend football tournament at the local Sportsplex.

If you need a place to crash, it isn’t a bad stay. The desk in the room is off and inconvenient.. the bar is limited and pricey, the menu is also limited (served me an undercooked chicken sandwich that had me barking all night into the toilet), it’s down in Matthews and not overly convenient to uptown. Everyone is nice and all.. but.. for the money.. you can do far better.

Had a wonderful stay. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing, especially Erin. From check in until a few hours after check out, Erin was most helpful and cheerful while doing so. She even went out of her way to overnight an item we had left in the room...can't say thanks enough!! The pool is really small but the gym is nice sized and clean with equipment for a full workout. Breakfast was not buffet as stated. You actually order from the bistro, we actually skipped this (lost $$ there). No morning coffee unless you use what's in the room or purchase from bistro. Should just add a few bucks and do continental breakfast...just my thoughts. All in all a great stay.
