Nothing incredible but nothing bad about the room. Just my typical problem with the smell in the pool area- if it smells like chlorine, it's dirty and/or has horrible ventilation. Really wish this could get fixed everywhere (recently stayed at a Comfort Suites where the pool area air was great).

Staff was very nice. Was able to check in before noon for a fee of $30, which I think is very reasonable. The pool is VERY small. And there aren’t any stairs, which I wasn’t a fan of. Continental breakfast was ok, the very basics, but it got the job done. My only major complaint is the shower. Water just goes everywhere, my daughter slipped after her shower because it literally pools all over the floor. We tried everything to mitigate the issue but we just had to ask for towels to put down to soak it all up. We were only there for one night so I dealt with it. Overall we had a pleasant stay. The location is great.

Clean & comfortable room. Easy access to expressway, but impressively quiet. Gurnee Mills mall is right across the street - lots of shopping & restaurants. Small indoor pool area that was clean & well maintained. Room had microwave & small fridge. Very nice hotel for the price. Has breakfast, but we didn’t eat here as visiting family. Nice stay

When we arrived we were promptly checked in and headed down to the pool. When I complain about how much debris, hair, and dirt were on the bottom of this pool I'm taking the time to write a review about it. The size of that pool would take 20 mins to vacuum. On the second day of our trip they started ripping up the flooring which immediately blocked off the front desk and exit with no real warning or heads up. Our room itself needed to be dusted and the shower itself needed a little bit more TLC.

Breakfast is 5/10 But nice for 1 night alone birthday night with husband.. wish pool was open for adults only throughout the night there was too many kids to enjoy the pool during the hours…. Wish there was a hottub/jacuzzi But it was a wonderful night my husband planned for me no issues

Carpets were really dirty. The toilet had dried urine around the base. Staff was GREAT but they really need to do a better job cleaning the rooms. Hotel needs a major update. Surprised they didn’t have smart TVs.

We stayed here as an overnight for Six Flags. It is right by the mall (walking distance) which is convenient. However, the room was very damp, even with the AC running a lot. It made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The original sheets and blankets felt damp. The replacements were feeling damp come morning. It's a nice place otherwise so it was unfortunate.

The people were great, the entire property smelled of old cigarettes and marijuana, the floors were very dirty and definitely needed a solid steam cleaning, as well as the AC system, and the drapes also needed to be cleaned because they smelled of smoke.

I don't know how this hotel has such high ratings. Maybe our room was just a dump? The AC and room smelled musty - definite sign of mold in the AC unit. The room had repair issues that needed tending to - damaged tiles in the bathroom, repairs needed to be done to the sink area, dirty corners around the floor. So gross. I would never come back to this hotel.

The beds were supposed to be queens. They were double beds. The AC unit was noisey. There was never anyone at front desk. (First time ive ever experienced that) Breakfast was included. But it was over by 9:AM. We brought our grandaughters to take them to six flags. We probably won't use this place again.

The tv wouldn’t stay connected to the HDMI cable. Anytime we turned the tv back on we would get an error message and someone from the front would have to come in and reset the whole thing just for it to give the same error message the next time we wanted to use the tv. The room had a stale odor to it that I just assumed was because they left the fan off so the air wasn’t circulating. The fridge we had was on a timer. So when we went to put food in there we noticed our food from the day prior wasn’t cold. I’ve never dealt with a fridge on a timer before and felt that was somewhat inconvenient given that our food ended up not stay cold when it was turned off. Their breakfast was as expected for a free meal. No complaints there. And they had a heated indoor pool that we were able to use. Which was also a nice addition. The staff we spoke to were friendly as well. This place IMO wasn’t as good as I was expecting from the reviews I had read prior to my booking. So I was thrown off a bit when I arrived. Also, this place charges a $100 security hold which is higher than other places I’ve stayed at that were a nicer stay. So that also threw me off. Overall, it was a nice location but unfortunately I don’t see myself staying here again.

Overall the stay was nice and the room was clean. The biggest problem was the tub which was extremely slippery. It really needs some texture or a bath mat of some sort. The bed was very comfortable and I liked having a couch and chair in the room.

This hotel had a very friendly front desk employee on Saturday who checked us in and they send you a text so if you need anything you can just text them back. The breakfast was good too and the employee working in the breakfast area on Sunday was also very friendly and was working hard to keep the items stocked and the counters wiped off. Our room was nice and modern looking. We really appreciated the pillows they had that kept their shape rather than flattening into nothing.

The second night the fire alarm rang for an hour and a half. The third night some guests were making a lot of noise and shouting in the hallway. I called reception and they did nothing about it. I left the do not disturb sign on the door and told the front desk that I did not want houseking and they went into the room to clean without paying attention to the sign.

The room was good and the staff was great. The young lady at check in made it easy and went quickly. I went back and asked a few questions and she knew me right away and answered my questions on the spot. Keep up the good work. Would stay here again.

The staff were friendly and polite. The hotel is conveniently located near Six Flags, which was helpful since we were in the area for Freight Fest. Having breakfast included is also a convenience. Breakfast included the standard American options: eggs, sausage links, pancakes, and bread. Overall, it was a good stay.
