Bedford Plaza Hotel - Boston

This was an okay place for the money - comfortable bed. Breakfast was a joke. Had to move from the first room because tv didn’t work. Second room was better but when I went to take a shower in the morning there were no bath towels!

My stay at Bedford Hotel Plaza was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the place felt neglected and poorly maintained. The swimming pool was completely unacceptable — there wasn’t even any water in it. Instead of being a relaxing hotel facility, it looked abandoned and unusable, which was incredibly disappointing considering it was advertised as one of the hotel amenities. The room itself was just as bad. The windows didn’t even close properly, which meant constant noise from outside and cold air coming in all night. It made it almost impossible to sleep comfortably, and it also felt very unsafe. Breakfast was the final disappointment. Not only was the food low quality and poorly presented, but there were actual bugs around the breakfast area. Seeing insects near food completely ruined my appetite and raised serious concerns about hygiene and cleanliness throughout the hotel. Overall, the entire hotel felt run-down, unhygienic, and badly managed. I would absolutely not recommend Bedford Hotel Plaza to anyone looking for a comfortable or clean place to stay. There are far better hotels for the same price. Very disappointing experience.

This could be a nice place, but the carpet and furniture need to be replaced ASAP. This would make a very large difference. Check in was easy and the person was friendly. Sheets seemed clean, and the place felt safe. Parking was extra. There is a large indoor pool that the whole building is built around... but it is closed except for the summer. Why not have a pool open year round, especially when it is the centerpiece of the property?

Just very dated and had a weird smell. Staff was nice, but I was annoyed they xalled me at 10:45 just to make sure I was checking out at 11 because their housekeeping staff wanted to go home early. Also they charge for parking when there were literally hundreds of open spots so it felt like an easy way to get more money. Door was kind of rickety but the bathroom was clean, the bed was comfy, and the price was very affordable. I won't be back but if you just need a room to lay your head this is fine.

Great rooms terrible breakfast not a terrible stay for a night or two was cozy and had air conditioning and heat staff was great no problems and love the part I could pay with a debit card
