The front desk employee was excellent but he had no assistance to help him with any issue that arose the entire evening. we thought the property was clean until we checked in to our room. we could not really tell what was on the bathroom walls but we know they needed to be clean. I guess the vacuum cleaner doesn't reach the dust bunnies under the nightstand. If the dust bunnies weren't enough there were spider webs in the corner of the other nightstand. we thought "maybe this is a 1 off...." No, is the answer because we found more spider webs in the ceiling corners as well. The adjoining rooms are a plus if you have kids & need to listen in on what they are doing, conversations can be heard as if the doors are open. On a good note, parking as well as entering & exiting the hotel is easy thanks to the side door that is close to the elevator

Front desk staff were great. Hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We visited with our family and opened gifts in the lobby next to the Christmas tree and the very nice lady working the front desk brewed fresh coffee and hot water for hot chocolate for the kids. She was very hospitable. We really felt welcomed and at home there.

We stayed last night at the Hampton Inn in Fremont, Ohio. The room was ok and somewhat clean. The bed did not have a full mattress cover, just a sheet over the mattress and the bath was disgusting. Mold at the bottom of the shower and peeling paint on the ceiling. A shelf by the sink was about ready to fall off the wall. Too bad I can't add pictures to this review. Not worth the $245 we had to pay.

The desk clerk was unfriendly. When she asked me questions she didn't listen to my answers and literally did the opposite of my answers. Then she booked me in a room that had not been cleaned yet. She seemed pre occupied and disinterested.

Of the six hotels that we stayed at during our vacation, this was the best hotel. Staff was great and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was cleaning the tables and restocking the food. Would recommend this hotel and if the opportunity arises would stay here again. Thank you to all of the staff for an excellent stay.

The staff wore tshirts and sweats. They were unkempt looking and nothing distinguished them from us. Our bathroom did not have a shower curtain and the doors and light switches were filthy. Best part: breakfast. Good selection and my daughter loved the chocolate waffles!

The property is just fine, we were scheduled for the check-in at 3pm but the room was not ready when we checked in at 2:55pm, the staff told us to contact us when the room is ready but until 5pm, I did not get any text or phone call. Some trash from the previous were still on the night stand when we got in the room. Beside those, everything else was fine. We were fine during the stay. Staff

Bed was uncomfortable, pillows were flat. Had a room with a foldout and mattress was full of stain, no cover, and had to go and ask for bedding and front desk was irritated I needed the bedding!

Easy access to Ohio turnpike, close to Cedar Point, and other attractions. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, and the room with the king size bed was great! We had a small kitchenette area with small fridge and microwave. Huge king bed and lots of room.

The curtains would not close all the way. We were on the 1st floor and you could see through the sheer curtains. Also we were in a handicap room and the shower was not good. Couldn’t have the shower running directly on our body as it got the outside floor all wet. Has to keep hanging the hose up or turning the water off. Other than those 2 items, everything was good!

The staff were extremely accomodating. The type of room I requested was not available so they called and made suitable arrangements. The room turned out to work out perfect. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

When someone finally showed up after waiting several minutes & calling “hello” she seemed unconcerned when I told her toilet in hall needed major attention-unflushed & then almost overflowed she didn’t seem too concerned. “I’m the only one here & I’ll get to it”. Second time staying here & it was great before. Great cookies!!

We always stay at Hampton when we travel. However, recently, I have begun to notice an unpleasant trend. Has there recently been a company memo sent out to your locations that require the front desk staff NOT to smile and NOT to in anyway indicate that they are happy the customer is checking in?? Good Lord, is their job so miserable that they act like they have been on duty for 36 straight hours? I am a business owner and I realize how hard it is to get decent employees. But geez, can’t they smile for at least the first 3 seconds after contact? Sorry, but thought you would want to know!

Check in went well with help from Brandy.The bed in our room looked like someone was not trained well..the dust ruffle was hanging on floor. Thought the storage in bath was very unique and great.The pull out shelves in bed area also great function. Breakfast was quite nice...red velvet waffles ...fun flavor.

My family has traveled all summer with my son’s baseball team. This hotel was without a doubt, the cleanest and the most friendly hotel at which we have stayed. The staff greeted us warmly every time we walked in the door. They made excellent dining suggestions and in fact had a list that included estimated cost, miles from the hotel, and pertinent information about each dining establishment. The breakfast area was clean. Breakfast was always hot and was different every day. The hotel staff provided additional towels when we requested them and a day later when I walked into my room there were additional towels yet again. Absolutely perfect stay.
