This was our first stay here for a mommy/daughter night out and it was a great experience from start to finish. Upon check in because it was our first visit, Imani at the front desk, waived the parking fee and gave us complimentary access to the 9th floor lounge. Every individual at this hotel was so kind and went out of their way to ensure we had the best service and stay. Small things from individuals greeting my 7 year old daughter to the woman in the lounge offering us complimentary chocolate cake. Breakfast was just okay at the lounge, but still there were a good amount of options. Next time we'll try breakfast in the restaurant. I will definitely be back. Keep up the great service!

The property was pretty standard and unremarkable. Basic hotel in an area convenient to MetLife Stadium. There was a shuttle service offered to the stadium for $20 pp each way which was handy although it took about an hour and a half to get back to the hotel (2.5 miles away) after the event. Maybe not the hotel's fault due to traffic but there were not enough shuttles and they were overcrowded.

I booked dec30 which I Understand is New Year’s Eve weekend. I was willing to pay the $351 fee but thought that $11 overnight parking was outrageous. I’ve never heard of a hotel charging for parking. For that trivial reason I will not be staying again.

Check in was so easy with such nice employees all around. A bunch of us girls were going to a concert at Met Life Stadium and were hoping the bar was open by 4pm but it opened at 5pm and we had to leave earlier. Would rather have given our money to the hotel instead of Met Life! Their prices were ridiculous!!

I would rather sleep in a car than ever stay here again. The nicest thing about this property is the reception area bar. Thats it. The hallways are old and musty. The rooms were absolutely filthy, the floors were sticky, there was mold along the sink, etc. I didn't expect a 5-star spa luxury experience, but I was so grossed out I checked out early and didn't care about getting a refund.

Stay wasn't terrible seeing as it was over night. I did have to ask for towels as only one was given. The water pressure was low and for some reason there was a wifi fee that was never told to me during check in.

We stayed at this property since it was close to Medieval Times. The staff and servers are so professional and friendly especially Denally and Gloria. They made breakfast and late night snacks very enjoyable. They made us feel at home and gave us suggestions about activities in the area. We will be back!

The AC in the room wasn't working properly and I had a very very uncomfortable nights sleep before I was to fly long haul and straight to work. I spent the night in a cycle of resetting the controls, trying to sleep expecting it to work (as one should), only for it to stop again. When I reported this to the night staff i was berated for not reporting it early (I'm sorry i had not expected it to be stop starting and my priority was rest. So his poor attitude letting me know all his challenges (e.g. work) outweighed the customer experience I should expect and paid for would have been funny if I was not so exhausted. The used towels were refolded, the bathroom shower was not cleaned, the bed sheets were not replaced after a dining spill, and complimentary water was not restocked. On the first day i left the hotel late so missed a 'room clean/tidy' but I would have expected housekeeping from a hotel in the Marriott range, to try and clean when i was out. All in all very underwhelming and utterly disappointing overall. I should have stayed in Manhattan.

The hotel is ok. The front desk staff, apart from the first night, were generally impatient. When I repeated my requests or questions more than one time, the front desk cut me off and said they got it, and that I didn't need to tell them again. Additionally, the cleaning staff forgot to clean the room on the last night of my stay. The restaurant service and food were good. Overall, the worst part is the front desk's attitude, which is very impatient and irritable.

The Reniassance is my goto hotel near New York. It has a beautiful view of NYC. The area is quiet, safe, close to the highway and New York, where I go regularly to do business. The staff are some of the most polite and professional people I’ve ever encountered in the lodging industry. That includes the front desk, bar & restaurant and Executive Lounge.

Been staying here for years. Neither better nor worse than it’s been. Housekeeping comes by daily and does a good job. NJ Transit to Port Authority just across the street, very convenient. Overall better than other options in the area.

The hotel is really beautiful. If you are visiting New York, you might want to stay at a place that is close to a subway that takes you to NYC. Unfortunately, you will have to the bus, and the bus times are not reliable. The hotel itself and the staff were friendly.

It was very good stay . Room that we booked, it was nice and clean. We requested for accessible washroom for elderly parents and they gave which was nice. Property is at excellent location if you want see New York. Bus stations are very nearby which you drop you to downtown new york.

Stayed for a concert at MetLife. Convenient location although getting out of MetLife is absolutely terrible. The restaurant was very good for breakfast. Staff were attentive even though it was so busy. Shower could have been cleaner/bathroom could use some upgrades. But overall a comfortable stay.

I liked the breakfast options although it's an extra fee it's worth the price. I didn't like the connecting doors in the rooms, we had to get our room changed in the middle of the night because the room next to us was making noise it and it almost sounded like they were in our room.
