Lots of information on the website was inaccurate, no cribs or roll away beds. The pictures were not current, the pool was in poor condition and the rooms are outdated. The staff was great and understood my frustration and did their best to address my concerns and frustrations. The facility desperately needs to be updated and the beds are absolutely horrible. With some upgrades this could be a nice motel but as of right now I would not recommend.

Rooms were a bit tight to move through because of the furniture size. Not a fen if the wood floors that seemed a bit gritty/unclean. Gym was smelly. Continental breakfast area was a bit sparse on food options and servings. Loved how accessible the location was to major restaurants and shopping.

Unfortunately, my husband and I’s stay was AWFUL. My husband is in the Marine Corps and I come up to visit periodically, we usually stay at a different hotel, but decided to try this one since it was cheaper. When we first got there and checked in, the room we were given was absolutely trashed and we had to go back up to the desk to be given a new room. Upon entering our new room, there were several issues, the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling, the sheets were not cleaned well, there was evidence of dirty paw prints (presumably a dogs, I have no issue with pets in hotels, just uncleaned sheets) on the bed, several lights didn’t work, there were bugs, dead and alive that we had to get rid of, it’s clear the room isn’t cleaned throughly as we found a pair of women’s underwear on top of one of the cabinets, the A/C unit leaked and flooded part of our floor, there was a piece of flooring missing, the breakfast wasn’t well, stale cereal, odd tasting eggs and so on, luckily Jacksonville is a beautiful area so we found things to do to spend as little time at the hotel as we could, but it was a truly disappointing and frustrating stay, and we will not be staying again, we were trying to save money on a cheaper hotel, but we learned it is definitely a “get what you pay for” situation. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was dirty, had to be moved to another room. You can tell that room was also not properly cleaned. There is mold in the bathroom. The beds are sinking in the middle. The room smelled so bad, when I returned home I had to leave my luggage outside because the odor was now in my apartment. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but the stench of smoking still lingered. There were also trash sitting out in peoples doors and a horrible odor coming from the “linen/supplies” room. Also the sink had a bad leak and a puddle would form on the floor. However, the assistant manager’s (Shoquanda) I think I spelled it wrong; but she did everything’s possible to assist me. She went above and beyond while being pulled in different directions to accommodate other patrons. She was the only one working the desk upon my arrival. Kudos to her for not losing her insanity.

This property is definitely not what was on the website. Needs a MAJOR update. The front door we had to push it really hard to shut. You can see daylight through it. The bathroom was horrible. There was mold, the fixture was erroding away. The remote did not work for the tv

absolutely disgusting - the pictures online deceive you about this place. As soon as I entered the room there was bed bugs, tons of cockroaches, black mold, hair all over the bed, and air vent was full of bugs and dirt. Didn’t even last an hour here - had to call up Expedia and switch us to a different hotel because the conditions of this place were unbearable.

ENORMOUS roaches. First day I saw a dead one near the bathroom. The next morning I woke up with them in my BED!!!! I told the front desk but she said that they’re just water bugs because if the high water table. I have NEVER experienced this before, anywhere. The soles of my feet turned black with filth walking in the floor.

When I went to check in to the hotel, they gave me a key to a room that had not been made up or cleaned at all. I went back and they gave me another key to a different room and when I tried that, the key didn’t work. I went back a third time and got a new room with a new key and tried again but still the door didn’t open. I went back and they told me I had to really shake and lift up the door handle. I went back for the fourth attempt at a room and finally got in. The room was quite run down and I could hear dogs barking in other rooms all night. It was fine for just two nights but definitely would not recommend.

The AC filter was very dirty and caused my allergies to flair up. We ended up cleaning it with a toothbrush. The AC was very loud and kept coming on and off. There were no washcloths, the first room they gave us the bed was broken and there was no linen. We luckily had some cleaning wipes with us that we used to wipe off the counters. The area was also very loud. Paint was chipped. The staff was friendly and the TV was good size and had HBO and Showtime though.

The place is misleading. The front looks nice and up to date and the rooms are in the back in another building that is crappy. The bathroom door wouldn't shut, the room stunk and they sprayed something and in a little while it was stinking again. We stayed 2 days and cold showers every morning. That place is an insult to Baymont Inns.

The hotel was okay except that with my room I had to force it open and shut every time I had to leave the room or was just coming back. The TV never worked when I was there either. The manager was super nice and accommodating! She made sure me and my dog were taken care of. Can’t remember her name right now but she definitely runs the place! Everyone I’ve met that works here was also super sweet and cool as well. There is a younger girl who works during the day who is so sweet and she definitely makes my life easier when paying the stay over fee thing. I just so happened to see her mom as well, who is hilarious. I’ve stayed at a bunch of places in Jacksonville where the staff was rude, rooms were gross, and the price was much higher than this. For the price you’re not going to get a better quality stay in Jacksonville. Don’t see why anyone would go anywhere else! 😭👎

Although the hotel was conveniently located, the overall condition of the hotel was poor. The doors didn't close easily. You had to pull it hard or kick it open or closed. The floors were sticky, the countertop on the dresser was broken and poorly repaired instead of replaced. The morning of our departure we found a roach crawling across the floor. We will never return to this hotel.

The check in was great and fast. The lady up front was very kind and knowledgeable. The room was nice but had a few issues. Could tell the place had not been wiped down well. Then we saw roach crawling across the top of the tv. The breakfast was not that great. Coffee was terrible, juice machine was broke, and the yogurt in the fridge was warm.

The place was not cleaned inside & out. I understand that they dont have enough help. Its the same where i work. But we witnessed a lot of the house keeper's talking & smoking with some of the people staying their. But they never asked us if we needed anything. We had to go find someone to get shampoo and conditioner for ourselves. We had to get clean towels. They didnt have much of a variety for breakfast. They ran out of milk for anyone that wanted cereal or milk for their coffe. They ran out of sausage. Had a lumit on how many sausages & eggs u could get at a time. We will never stay there agian. I am a wyndham card holder. Never again will we stay there.

I have one good thing to say the bed was comfortable. After the first 2 rooms we said no to due to bugs all over the floor we took the 3rd. But the sink would not drain, the toilet was slow to flush and missing things like hair dryer. Both days went down to breakfast early and they did not have things. Cereal out but no bowls or milk.

First room they gave me had not been cleaned, still had things in it from previous people. Second room the door would not open. Third room was clean but no towels in it and someone had left a vape on the sink counter. Breakfast muffins were stale and dry, biscuits and gravy that i tried had very dried out biscuits. All in all not a good experience with this place, will not be using it again EVER
