J'ai été déçue par l'hôtel, je trouve que ça ne correspondait pas du tout aux photos. La baignoire était pleine de moisissure. J'ai failli tomber plusieurs fois le cul dans les toilettes car la planche n'est pas adaptée et trop petite. Ils disent qu'il y un sauna dans le spa, on ne l'a pas vu on a juste vu le jacuzzi (qui était avec des jets froids) et la piscine. Très bruyant, si vous voulez vous relaxer oubler. Pas surveillé donc enfants sautaient et nous donnaient des coups dans le jacuzzi. Le principe du spa c'est quand-même le calme et la tranquillité ... il faut sortir de l'hôtel pour aller au spa et pas de cabine pour se changer, c'est une pièce où tout le monde peut te voir tout nu ou alors faut aller dans les toilettes mais la lumière s'éteind donx on ne voit rien ... je me suis aussi réveillée un jour avec des fourmis sur moi .... et pour se garer pas facile de trouver faut tourner plusieurs fois .... sinon le personnel était gentil.

The accommodation is away from the main road and offers a quiet location. The pool and spa facilities are located a short distance from the accommodation but within easy reach. My studio rooms were a little tired but clean and comfortable with hot water. In room TV facilities could do with being modernised to enable access to internet and portable entertainment

Travaux dans la rue d'en face, ça l'hôtel n'y peu rien. Mais avoir la fenêtre décalée avec le jour, le bruit et le vent, pas top. 2 jours pour nous faire changer de chambres. Et le comble, c'est l'hôtesse à l'accueil qui me demande de mettre une serviette pour boucher le trou... Les piscines (intérieure ou extérieure) ne sont pas dans l'hôtel comme indiqué. Il faut sortir de l'hôtel, traverser la rue pour y accéder. En faite les piscines comme la salle de sport est un complexe hors de l'hôtel qui est ouvert pour tout le monde mais pas spécialement aux résidents de l'hôtel....

We were hoping for a nice balcony with a view of the ocean. If we stood in just the right spot, we could just see the ocean between buildings at the back. The A/C was greatly appreciated but really caused excessive humidity in the room. We also didn't realize that the pool was across the road. Nice restaurants within walking distance.

My wife and i enjoyed our stay. The property is beginning to show its age, but it is far from shabby. Our suite consisted of a kitchen/ dining area/second bedroom.c the kitchen had an oven and 2 burner electric stove. It had platrd and sikverware etc. Curiously there was no microwave. The bedroom ws comfy and decent size. There was a balcony with chairs and a clothe a frying rack. The sofa in the kitchen cpnverts to a double bed. PROs Kitchen means not all meals have to be eaten out. Convenient location Cheaper than many other hotels in the area Several good restaurants in the area. Indoor and outdoor pools (we did not use them) Very accomodating, friendy staff. Fridge is very cold. Very clean. Two mini grocery stores very close. Chaplin's restaurant next door does a good English breakfast, beans on toast, egg a andwich etc. CONs Parking is difficult, but not impossible. No microwave. No drinking water - it has to be purchased like most of the hotels. Buy a 7 litre jug from the mini mart.

Ive stayed at sunny coast regularly over the last 35 years. Although they've up made the reception look nice and modern the rooms dont reflect this and havent been updated in around 20 years at least - with furniture, tiles and utensils either worn out or broken. The cleaning of the rooms has also lessened over time. It seems each year I have stayed there has been something else changed for the worse. On the plus side the rooms are large and do have most things you need and the swimming pool is easily accessible. Some of the issues we had to raise - dirty sheets, broken wardrobe and no latch on the doors to the balcony were rectified within 24 hours.

Fabulous big apartment. Booked a studio and was given a really large 1 bedroom apartment with a sea view. Staff were extremely helpful and very polite. Apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Could do with a bit of a refurb as the bathroom and kitchen are a little dated. All in all very good value for money.

I loved the AX Sunny coast. My apartment had everything I needed. A comfortable bed, plenty of storage and ample kitchen utensils to prepare breakfast and the simple kind of evening meal I like to prepare when I away. The bath was a little small but there was plenty of really hot water. The apartment was serviced every three days with clean sheets and towels each time. Teatowel, cloth, scourer and washing up liquid all provided in the kitchen area. There was plenty of good lighting as well. I received a very warm welcome on arrival by Mahesh on reception who also willingly helped me sort a couple of issues during my stay. Buses leave from outside the hotel to various places although it took me a couple of days to work out how to get back as mostof the buses do not return via the hotel.

I was impressed with everything.. staff could not have been more helpful... the appartment was huge...fantastic view..location great... cheeky monkeys bar...second to none. Unfortunately my experience ended on a negative vibe... we were offered a shower room to freshen up before we headed off to the airport Oh my god you wouldnt think we were in the same place Cockroach floating in the toilet... previous occupants dirty towels on floor... floor didnt look like it had been cleaned in weeks.. it was that unpleasant i had to wear my flip flops to shower and then put them in the bin I was shocked the whole room was totally discusting.. the pool side showers were 100% better.. i should have just used them.. Got to say Dylan on reception was fab..!

La pulizia a Malta non è sicuramente il forte ma purtroppo l'esperienza in quest' hotel non è stata diversa dal contesto(purtroppo abbiamo trovato una blatta nel bagno). In particolare Il bagno era in condizioni generalmente pessime: vecchio, senza bidet, vasca con tenda sporca, finestra piccola e con affaccio interno all' hotel, tavoletta wc malmessa e non utilizzabile. Per il resto le condizioni e le pulizie risultano discrete ma il personale(problema generale di Malta) purtroppo non ha una base di competenza solida di ospitalità alberghiera e ristorativa

There are many construction projects nearby, and you will be woken up in the morning. The sound insulation is poor, I was woken up in the middle of the night by the crying screaming kid quite often. Fabulous big apartment. Booked a studio and was given a really large 1 bedroom apartment with a sea view. Staff were extremely helpful and very polite. Apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Could do with a bit of a refurb as the bathroom and kitchen are a little dated. All in all very good value for money.

This was the perfect place I think. If your more into an amazing view and balcony than watching tv it’s perfect. The tv room was nothing to talk about but otherwise loved the kitchen and bath and comfortable bed!

We were hoping for a nice balcony with a view of the ocean. If we stood in just the right spot, we could just see the ocean between buildings at the back. The A/C was greatly appreciated but really caused excessive humidity in the room. We also didn't realize that the pool was across the road. Nice restaurants within walking distance.

Hôtel bien équipé et sympathique. Par contre notre premier logement donnait sur la route et des immeubles en construction avec un bruit de marteau piqueur régulier. Nous avons donc demandé à changer de chambre ce qui a été fait 2 jours plus tard dès qu'une autre chambre s'est libérée. Ouf là nous avions vu sur la mer et c'était bien plus paisible. Piscine bien équipée mais l'été cela doit être bondé.

Our suite consisted of a kitchen/ dining area/second bedroom.c the kitchen had an oven and 2 burner electric stove. It had platrd and sikverware etc. Curiously there was no microwave. The bedroom ws comfy and decent size. There was a balcony with chairs and a clothe a frying rack. The sofa in the kitchen cpnverts to a double bed. PROs Kitchen means not all meals have to be eaten out. Convenient location Cheaper than many other hotels in the area Several good restaurants in the area. Twin beds are not an option...one bed is a sofa bed in the lounge/kitchen area. The hotel is a very good value for what you pay. It is in a nice location with beautiful views overlooking the bay. We did not use the pool while there but looked very nice. The room itself was very big. The only complain I have is the room is a bit outdated. Everything looks like from the '90s. the towels are a bit thin and they don't give you enough soap/shampoo (although I'm sure you can ask for more at reception). The location is good - it is a 25 minute Uber ride to center of Valetta, about 20 eur. Overall - very good hotel but could use some updating.

Ive stayed at sunny coast regularly over the last 35 years. Although they've up made the reception look nice and modern the rooms dont reflect this and havent been updated in around 20 years at least - with furniture, tiles and utensils either worn out or broken. The cleaning of the rooms has also lessened over time. It seems each year I have stayed there has been something else changed for the worse. On the plus side the rooms are large and do have most things you need and the swimming pool is easily accessible. Some of the issues we had to raise - dirty sheets, broken wardrobe and no latch on the doors to the balcony were rectified within 24 hours.

Receiption was appointed with a cheerful staff member. we checked in few hours after the normal checkin. The hotel was peacful and room were nice and clean. Only issue I found was that the telephone didn't work and could have been nicer to have lounge slippers and Water bottle.

I loved the AX Sunny coast. My apartment had everything I needed. A comfortable bed, plenty of storage and ample kitchen utensils to prepare breakfast and the simple kind of evening meal I like to prepare when I away. The bath was a little small but there was plenty of really hot water. The apartment was serviced every three days with clean sheets and towels each time. Teatowel, cloth, scourer and washing up liquid all provided in the kitchen area. There was plenty of good lighting as well. I received a very warm welcome on arrival by Mahesh on reception who also willingly helped me sort a couple of issues during my stay. Buses leave from outside the hotel to various places although it took me a couple of days to work out how to get back as mostof the buses do not return via the hotel.

Our room had 100s of ants on the floor we switched rooms to a smaller room with out. Hotel still charged us the same amount, and this room didn’t have AC and only 2 single beds. We are on our honey moon and found this to be an absolute nightmare hotel and will never return. For the price point there is at least 10 hotels in the area that are way nicer and better value

AX Sunny Coast war für uns ein richtig guter Platz. Auch die kleine Küchenzeile ist ein lobenswertes Plus. Toll auch, dass einige Buslinien direkt vor dem Hotel abfahren - speziell die X3 zum Airport (vom Airport auch die X3 nehmen, hält dann gut 100 Meter vom Hotel). St. Pawl's Bay ist aber ein reiner Touri-Ort, es gibt fast alles - aber nur wenig Ur-Malta. Deshalb ist das mit den Bussen (tallinja card explore, 25 Euro 7 Tage super!!!) prima.

Struttura pulita, appartamento ampio, c hanno cambiato le lenzuola 2 vv in una settimana e potevi farti cambiare gli asciugamani anche tutti i gg. Piscina d fronte all hotel ampia, con acqua salata, forse un po’ antigienico non fare tenere la cuffia. Zona desolata con pochi ristoranti però supermercato molto comodo molto fornito.

PROs Kitchen means not all meals have to be eaten out. Convenient location Cheaper than many other hotels in the area Several good restaurants in the area. Indoor and outdoor pools (we did not use them) Very accomodating, friendy staff. Fridge is very cold. Very clean. Two mini grocery stores very close. Chaplin's restaurant next door does a good English breakfast, beans on toast, egg a andwich etc. CONs Parking is difficult, but not impossible. No microwave. No drinking water - it has to be purchased like most of the hotels. Buy a 7 litre jug from the mini mart.

I was impressed with everything.. staff could not have been more helpful... the appartment was huge...fantastic view..location great... cheeky monkeys bar...second to none. Unfortunately my experience ended on a negative vibe... we were offered a shower room to freshen up before we headed off to the airport Oh my god you wouldnt think we were in the same place Cockroach floating in the toilet... previous occupants dirty towels on floor... floor didnt look like it had been cleaned in weeks.. it was that unpleasant i had to wear my flip flops to shower and then put them in the bin I was shocked the whole room was totally discusting.. the pool side showers were 100% better.. i should have just used them.. Got to say Dylan on reception was fab..!
