This was a quick over night during travel. The front desk was very nice. The hotel is no frills. The pool was not open. Our room had recently been renovated. The a/c seemed to be on low and did not cool the room very well. It was not warm outside but if the weather had been hotter, it may have been uncomfortable. The room was small but very clean.

The microwave did not work. The phone did not work. I asked if they had a pool. Yes, we have a pool get there. The pools been closed for months. It’s nasty. It was dirty. The hotel room was clean. The bed was OK. Needs a lot of improvement.

The pet areas were very nice, most places don't even bother to have those. I wasn't there very long but I was treated like a true guest! The rooms were spotless, smell nice, clean linens and towels and I have nothing to complain about! I wish the quality inn in Lincolnton North Carolina was this nice and affordable. It cost me almost $200 a night with my dogs and motel 6, should be hotel because there's no outside rooms, didn't charge me a penny! This is the halfway point between my home and my family and this will be my stay every time we make the journey from here on out!

I haven’t stayed in a Motel 6 in over 10 years and thought I’d give it another chance since we were only staying one night. Upon walking into the lobby it had an unpleasant odor. After checking in, we saw the elevator was out of service. We had to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor. My room was 203, when I turned to close the door there was a cockroach walking by the door lock. I found another one in the bathroom and the next morning one crawled out of the light fixture. All layers of the bed sheets had cigarette burn marks. There was a stain on the fitted sheet meant for a full size bed that housekeeping tried to make it fit. The quilted sheet under the fitted had a bigger stain. I tried to ignore it all and just get to bed. My colleague in room 204 also said he had cockroaches. The food area was pretty sad. There was a self making coffee maker and vending machine next to the elevator. I’ll not be staying here when Quailty Inn is $10 more with breakfast, nice large room and comfortable bed.

I was awakened at 2am by bedbugs crawling on me. Attendant offered new room. This room smelled musty like mildew. When I inquired about a refund she stated that she was giving me a good room. A video of the bed bugs was shown to her. She acted as if it was not important. I will never stay at this again. When I asked about a manager, she stated that he comes in around 9am.

The property is run down. Linens on the bed were stained. Towels were stained and had a horrible smell. Water pressure in the shower and the sink was horrible. Took 20 minutes to rinse my hair completely. Hallways smelled like cigarettes, and weed. For two people in the room they had one pillow.

I haven’t stayed in a Motel 6 in over 10 years and thought I’d give it another chance since we were only staying one night. Upon walking into the lobby it had an unpleasant odor. The receptionist was unfriendly. The elevator was full of smoke. The room had no shampoo and conditioner. When we called the front desk, no answer. The towels were stained. The walls were paper thin, and the neighbors were extremely loud. We asked to be moved to a new room, but when she found out we had “touched” things in the room, she said they were full. I guess she called the neighbors because then they were just angry and loud and had relations as loud as possible as punishment for the call. I had my child with me, so it was traumatic. The whole reason we chose this hotel was for the free breakfast (we clicked that as our only filter on hotels.com), and when we went down, after being woken up many times in the night, the guy was shocked that we thought there was one. We could not check out fast enough. Never. Again.

Not good overall. Checkin failed because room 318 had no AC, no sheets, and not cleaned. Second room 304 smelled bad, sheets and pillows were stained. Microwave broken. This is by far the worst hotel I have seen ever.

It was a place to sleep for the night as we continued to travel. The attendant wasn’t very friendly or attentive to my needs. The room although at first appeared to be clean, the sheets and pillows appeared to be dirty/stained. The shower curtain contained what appeared mold. We requested fresh towels and were denied stating only two sets are allowed per room. The room did not have an iron or ironing board. We asked the front desk and was informed they didn’t have one. At checkout, I was told to just leave the key on the counter as she walked from behind the desk. The hallway smelled of some sort of smoke in the middle of the night. We requested and was assigned a nonsmoking room. The smoke smell aggravated my allergies. The pictures online are very misleading.

Cleaning staff tried opening door at 9:30am when check was at 11am. It really scared us and it was unprofessional. They should have a list of who has checked out and who hasn't to avoid this! Every time we turned the water faucet on, it would leak under the sink.

Nothing to eat really. The waffle house next door is very nasty. The hotel itself was one of nastiest Ive ever stayed and not worth the price. The floor was so dirty I had to buy a pair of flip flops so I didnt have to wear tennis shoes constantly. It was so dirty it ruined my socks. The walls and doors etc are so gross and there is so much dust on the vents it was falling on me. The next morning my daughter was packing a bag to the car and a lady yelled at her to go check out, an hour and a half before check out time.

Walking into room looked nice and like pic on web. Then 2 inch cockroach greeted us. Found no other bugs so stayed because it was late and nonrefundable. Overall r since we booked through expedia.
