Wind Creek Casino & Hotel Montgomery

Always a nice experience just to get away and play, eat, and get entertained under one roof!

The hotel was advertised as having a pool. After we checked in, we were advised the pool was closed for construction. No where on the website is this mentioned which falsely advertised amenities at the property. Also, the hotel itself is under construction which is also not advertised. The entrance to the casino is dated and dingy (it’s smelly with gum spots on the pavement).

The free valet parking was nice. There were renovations happening on the 4th &!5th floor daily. Each day, we were awakened starting at 7 a.m. (on Thanksgiving day & on the weekend by hammering and construction noise. We stayed 3 days, each day our sleep was interrupted. I wished this work began later like around 10 a.m. This would be more considerate towards resort guests. We did not find any notice regarding renovations to Wind Creek Casino on their webpage, as they said it would be. On Thanksgiving day, we had dinner at the Itta Bena Resturant on the 3rd floor. at 5 p.m. We arrived 5 minutes after the resturant opened, ordered the fried turkey however, we were told by the waiter that they ran out of it. They sold all turkey dinners thru their catering service earlier-er that day - I felt that this was very poor planning on the restaurant’s part. The service was also horrible, it took over 2 hours to get our dinner. While we waited for our food, we had to speak to the manager several times to ask for rolls and more drinks. The food was decent when we ultimately received it; however, the service was so poor, and the waiter had such a non- chalant attitude, we won’t be returning — EVER! I took my family who were visiting me from out of state to the Wind Creek Casino in Mongomery AL to have a nice, relaxing Thanksgiving holiday instead it was terribly disappointing!

It was not pleasant. EV chargers are an extremely over priced. The place is not well maintained

Everything was nice and clean just like I like it. However, the pool was closed and that was one of the reasons I chose Montgomery instead of Wetumpka so that was disappointing. The reason I didnt give 5stars for the comfort is because I've stayed at 4 star hotels before and they had comfy plush beds, pillows, and towels. Windcreek Montgomery did NOT. BBKings was amazing as always. Drinks and food delicious. Security kept me safe till my partner arrived (i really appreciated that). Staff was hilarious and kind. I'll be back to check out that pool.

This hotel should be closed during renovations. We had a room on the 3rd floor. We checked in at about 3:30 pm. There was the smell of sawdust throughout the hall. The sound of sledgehammers gave me a headache. I called to ask for a room change and was told none were available. The noise went on until 6:00 pm. Then it started again at 8:00am on the dot! Horrible experience!!!

Very unclear directions on where to park and check in. The signs seem to indicate that the only way to pull up to the front of the hotel or casino is if you do valet or are in a bus. We found out this was not true but not until after we lugged our bags a long distance from the parking lot to the door. We also came in the wrong entrance and were turned around and told to go the other way because we had our bags and they aren’t allowed in casino. The food at the in house restaurant was wonderful and the staff great. We didn’t realize that all of the games were only bingo based. The way to operate these machines was initially kind of hard to figure out. No clear signage on the process or how to make things work the way they want. Overall will not be back even though I’m glad we checked it out. The beds were comfy and the rooms big. Loved the shower set up and the clearly labeled light switch.

Windcreek Montgomery hotel was very nice. Our stay at the hotel was great and we had a wonderful time and i enjoyed our surroundings with my family ,the staff along gets ten stars .Will i come back of course!!!! The only downside is the restrooms in the casinos the need a little work in keeping the bathroom clean and smelling good other than that Great Stay!!!

Overall he hotel and casino were great. The only area of concern was the public restrooms in the casino. They could use some updating.

I accidentally booked the wrong date and immediately informed them and requested correction, and they refused to return the money for the initial booking nor would offer credit for another time. The room was filthy with stains and candy and crumbs on the floor and shower door was broken. I informed the front desk and they didn't seem to care and told me they were remodeling and haven't got to that room yet.

Great little casino in the hills with a Memphis Tennessee vibe! They have definitely put money into their amenities, but it stinks to have a hot summer day and no access to the new pool! It was running, lighted, ready…but I think because they want to staff the pool area to create a resort feel, we had to wait. Only other complaint is that the room floor wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. There’s hair, sunflower seed shells, and dust under movable furniture.

Average casino hotel. Doors slam extremely loud, very disturbing, needs to be adjusted. Bathroom could have been cleaner, saw crud behind sink faucet, on bathroom floor. Bed wasn't comfortable.

Room was never cleaned in my 3 day stay.

The room was fairly clean. The only reason why I say fairly is because I as a travel consultant look for things Beyond seeing the only things that I observed was dust in the light fixtures, dust in the vents and the lime scale that was in the showerhead I thoroughly enjoyed myself

The property was OK. It was nice and clean but the problem I had the Internet was down and we couldn’t take it until about it about eight and can we be accommodated so the front desk manager gave my friends a discount but I couldn’t get any discount because I was a third party something they said I had to talk to Expedia so that is what I’m doing and I’m asking for accommodation because it was very inconvenient and then we had to check out at 11 when we didn’t get the room until 8 PM. We check out the next morning at 11 AM.

Loved staying here despite one side of the king size bed mattress had a hollow bowl-shaped indentation, which made a raised barrier on the mattress. You could either sleep in the limited bowl or crest the lump which put your body in the center of the king mattress, accroaching on your bed mate. Not ideal! I did report the issue, hoping the mattress gets replaced. 2 nights enduring the lumpy mattress was not restful! Casino and staff, however, were excellent!

They stuck us in room overlooking brick wall amd ac units how rotten to do to someone this room shoukd not be used for guest

I love the staff they treat you like family.

Enjoyed the property and hotel but the staff at check in was rather rude and continued to be arrogant and rude when we came back through with our luggage.

The problem was that we were not allowed to check in at 4:00 because of a problem with their computer system. We could not check in until about 7:00 pm. I thought we should have been compensated for the inconvience.

Staff very efficient addressing any request and prompt with service. Everyone was welcoming

It was one of the “best stays” I’ve experienced. Everyone was super nice and helpful.

Walking into the casino/hotel was fine but the girl working the front check in should find a different job. I stood there and she never said a word I finally said I'm trying to check in. She rolled her eyes and asked for my licenses and credit card, never even asked for my name. Thankfully I got a room but once I got into the room it was full of cigar smoke. So i had to go back down and and explain to ms personality about the smoke. She advised me that there wasn't any other rooms available like I paid for so I asked for an upgrade which I told her I would be happy to pay for but I was told none was available so I told her to down grade me to whatever room was available because I was just there on business and could careless about anything but taking a shower and going to bed because I had to leave 1st thing in the morning. I got a room that wasnt exactly clean but it didnt smell like smoke and I just wanted to go to sleep. But the room service was great

Very friendly staff.

The clerk at check in was unpleasant. The hotel does not provide soap or any other toiletries unless you ask for it. The carpet in the room was not clean and it was “crunchy “ in spots. Decent room but dark and depressing decor.

This hotel has made some nice upgrades and the room was very clean. Our room was not ready upon checking in and we had to wait for about an hour. Staff was great.

We will be going back! This was our 1st time at Wind Creek Montgomery. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean with a mini fridge, coffee maker and plenty of outlets, with a view of the golf course. The rooftop pool was actually on the 3rd of 5 floors, but nice. The pool bar was not open during our stay. The hallways were dark and the carpet throughout seemed dated. The casino had over 2000 slots, with frequent jackpot payouts, We enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

They need parking jus for the hotel and i like the convenience to walk to the casino and dining.

Hotel and room relatively clean.staff very helpful and polite. Celebrated my wife’s 77 th birthday. She was pleased snd enjoyed BB Kings restaurant and again staff there also so accommodating. Loved their drinks. The only thing nothing else around in area. We would go again.

Everything was very expensive for what it was. The room was clean but not in the best of shape. The people were all very nice. BB King was disappointing. Not as good as the one in Memphis. The food at Itta Bena was very expensive and just okay. For what we paid for everything, I expected more.

Ita Beana was a gem. Erin did a great job on the drinks and as a server. Very Good all around.

I think the BB King restaurant and lounge was amazing! The dinner part was best due to live band!
