The electric was affected by the storm that went through the area and it would have been nice if the person at the front desk made sure we were aware of this fact prior to checking us in. We parked in front of the room and noticed a hole in the exterior wall at the adjoining room. An unsavory character was talking to themselves at the bus stop at the road. We walked into the room and the electric only worked on one side of the room and therefore no ac service at that time. Not knowing at the time of the storms effect on the electric, I went to the front desk to ask for another room and at that time they informed me of the problem with the electric. We spoke to another traveler and they stated the electric had been off for over an hour. We accepted that they didn't have control over the weather and within another hour the electric was back on and all lights and ac working. The morning as we were leaving and getting ice for the chest some more unsavory characters were nearby and offering to procure some products that were not legal.

This property was a mistake for me. The sink didn’t drain at all. If you use the sink literally 30 minutes later, it was still full of yucky water. The bath tub drain was OK. The floor was nice and the bedding was OK. The beds were not too comfortable and pretty cheap and rickety. There was no breakfast. The fact that the front desk was always behind a locked door was disconcerting. The front desk staff have to buzz you in so you can go in for some reason. There is a lot of trash around the perimeter of the property like a lot. Years worth of cups And trash. There are some huge holes in the parking lot. The big dog next-door barked loudly and pod at the glass. He was huge and I was really scared. He was going to come through the glass and eat my little dogs who never park in a hotel by the way. I could hear everything from the neighbors. I could hear everything they said when they walked by. There was loud music and I could smell smoke in the room from the neighboring rooms. The guy at the front desk was always pleasant enough. There are plenty of fast food. Restaurants within walking distance. They do provide (in room) coffee, a refrigerator and a microwave though, and if you need a cheap place, especially if you have a dog, then this might be a good place for you.

The room was disgusting. Bugs on the floor. Sheets were dirty. Air conditioner did not work. Room smelled like weed. A complete dump. Trash cans overflowing in walkway! Do not stay here!!!!! You are better to sleep in your car!

Rooms are real dirty they have roaches and they also dont have no working washers are dryers but they have slots machines (YESSLOTMACHINES) in the wash room they also got rob while we stayed there and unfortunately the last five days of our two week stay we didnt even have hot water we left on 10/16/2023

Was informed on check in that there was no hot water available. The furnishings in the room was very poor. Hair in the shower drain, but of course I couldn’t take a shower due to there being no hot water. Room not very clean and furnishings very poor condition. The check in clerk did offer to cancel my reservation but I didn’t wish to start looking for another place to stay for one night.

We rented this hotel due to the fact we were trying to get away from a hurricane i unfortunately did not read reviews before staying because if I would have I wouldn’t have rented it but we spent the money and we’re desperate. 1.pulling up to the hotel was sketchy lots of drug activity going on in the parking lot I was even asked if I had any for sell. The “pool” they so proudly say they have on their signs and online is currently out of order emptied and nasty and my kids were looking forward to swimming. 2. We rented two rooms as we had family evacuating with us. The first room I walked into was very dirty stained sheets and comforters their was blood and paint on the walls and floors hairs everywhere the ac was falling apart and didn’t work I watched the cleaning ladies go into clean the rooms and didn’t have any cleaners on them. The second room not much better but the ac did work in this one however there was mold everywhere in the room 3. The employees were rude check out was at 11 they started coming at 10 asking when we were going to be out to hurry up it was time to check out every ten minutes 4. I go to check out and waited 15 minutes for an employee to come to the counter 5. We actually found a NEEDLE while packing up beside the bed my kid found it very unsafe very unclean they should be shut down honestly I don’t know how they arnt please spend your money elsewhere DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!

Upon arrival we were told there was no hot water until Monday. No change in Price. Its late and all other hotels are filld up. So we accept the no hot water. Walking to the room, there are so many people that just seem to be hanging out in parking lot. People waiting for rooms, girls switching from room to room. This is a very unclean & unsafe place. Will not be back and do not recommend it. Truly sad. I would rather sleep in my car anywhere other than here.

Definitely not worth the price. The room was dirty, there was a dirty towel by the sink with a stain on it, even the clean towels had stains on it. The tub looked horrible, the room looked poorly cleaned in general and toilet didn’t work properly either.

I rented 2 rooms for one night. One room had the floor peeling up and the under carriage of the AC unit exposed while the other one had stains on the bedding that looked “fresh” and a bathroom door falling off the hinges. Both rooms had dirt/smuges all over the walls. With moldy looking stains around the bathtub, toilet and bathroom. Only decent thing about this hotel was the tv.

Room was filthy. Sheets had holes and stains. Floor had an extensive amount of dirt around the edges and corners. Bathtub had mildew and obviously wasn't properly cleaned due to the handful of hair lying around. Sink would regurgitate whatever was in the pipes. There was a man who was walking around throughout the middle of the night. Would see his shadow pass by the window every 15-20 mins. He even knocked at the door at 630am and I opened it to ask what he needed. Property could definitely use some professional cleaning.

All the outlets need replaced. They are either falling out or to far in and all makes sparks when removing your device. Bathtub drains very slowly. Floors and walls were dirty.

Absolutely terrible we moved rooms 3 times first room has no lights at all 2nd room looked good but my husband was washing his feet grabbed the shower curtain rod for balance and gets electrocuted by the shower curtain rod bc apparently someone ran a screw through conduit and has electrified the rod....we moved to another room which has black foot prints all over the walls I mean everywhere!

Although I saw signs that said "newly renovated," nothing appeared to have been renovated in this century. Everything was old and run down. Otherwise itp seemed clean as far as I could tell, but there were no room amenities like soap kleenex, etc., and the only thing available on TV was the TUBI network...need I say more? I didn't stick around long enough to try breakfast, but there was no mention of it when I checked in to a lobby(?) that looked more like a prison check-in than a hotel, so I don't know where it would have been served. The other Red Roof Inns I've stayed at were much more appealing. The area itself looked pretty rough and was definitely noisy. I won't be returning for another stay.

The hotel is old and need an update. There where huge holes in the walls. It was a former smoking room and the walls were yellow. Lots of food opportunities around the facility. We did not have a single cup of coffee as the padholder was missing and when we finally got one the machine did not work. No coffee in reception and no breakfast. Not the best value for money.

I arrived for a prepaid reservation after a difficult trip which included the tire blew up and no ability to get roadside service. I was told I had arrived just after their check-in time and that I would have to pay again and take it up with the manager at 8 AM. I had to be at work at 7 AM. This is obviously dishonest customer service and apparently hotel policy

No one was in the lobby when we arrived and sat in there for over 20 minutes til someone came out (btw once he came out he already had a attitude). They refused my service and also was rude to not only me but other customers who paid their money ahead online for a room.

Hello, the service is terrible. I rented for a week because I'm working in this area and when I arrived in the afternoon to pay for the next week, they wanted to charge more money because I had to pay before 11 in the morning. That's why I changed hotels. I don't recommend it to anyone.

I arrived with a prepaid reservation but was told that I was just past her check-in time and that I would have to pay again and speak to the manager who would arrive at 8:00. I had to be a work an hour and a half away at 7. Remember this reservation was prepaid and this policy was not honest

It’s a quaint local motel. I basically just wanted to rest. Military or people on the move would find it perfect as they pass through. I was puzzled by the lack of compassion of the staff. There were clearly more than enough clean rooms available when I arrived. They acted as if there were none and insisted I wait to the minute to check me in. I had to wait tired, in my car, in front of all those empty rooms. Their rules exceed any hospitality. They ignore the reason of check-in/out time is to have sufficient time between guests to clean. “Thank You!”

I do not recommend this property at all, particularly for single women or families with children. The area itself is not bad. Near the highway and plenty of food & gas stations. But the hotel rooms are visibly dirty and I killed two roaches during my one night stay. I was ready to leave well before the 11am checkout as a result. The staff was nice but I only checked in and out; had no other communication with them. I saw a number of solo men staying in the rooms and they did not look the friendliest or cleanest so stay here at your own risk. I would have left had I not been staying with a male friend.

It was fine. Confy rooms on second floor. Just shady people around. The back of the hotel isnt in use at all and looks bad. Pets stay free though and it wasn't a bad experience. Would come again.
