Basic room: bed, table, tv, bathroom Shower was weird: corner shower with shower nozzle over entrance point, water valve on opposite wall. No way to turn on/adjust water without getting soaked

I was in room 136 and the wall outlet was previously burnt out and you could see where it caught fire. I noticed because the tv, fridge and microwave were not working. I got in late so I talked to the front desk the next day he just came in with an adapter to add 3 plug int to the bottom socket. Then about 5 minutes later you could smell burning and the tv shorted out and the smoke detector was going off. The front desk attendant said he could fix it. I denied and asked for a different room this is unacceptable. You could feel the heat on the wall from the wall socket burning up.

I know motel 6 is not luxury and on the cheaper side. However, rooms should be cleanedand sanitary. . The floor was so dirty that we didn't t want to take our shoes off. We wiped the floor and when we did the towel was black. It had not been mopped for who knows how long. I forgot to take pics of the bathroom vent that had what looked like mold growing in it. I only have one pic. This was after we moved from the original room. The original room had someones short hair or pub hair and food crumbs and a dip in the bed where someone laid on top of the sheet. The second rooms floor, bathroom vent, and smelled smoke and moldy air. I have stayed here over a year ago and it wasn't this bad at all. Don't know if it's new staff or owners but it's horrible and will not stay here again. I booked because it was a 3 min drive to whiskey row. It was worth $50. Not $127 dollars. Needs upgrade and new cleaning staff. Power wash the side walk and seal up holes and entries where bugs come in and we had a few of those that flew and got in the bed. We made it work but got right out early and was out most of the night.

Everything was great , except the drain on our sink leaked all over the floor … the first night on a two night stay. We reported it first thing in the morning hoping they would fix the drain while we were out . Instead they turned the water off on the sink and offered to move us to a different room on a whole different floor when we returned after a long day of events … We opted to stay in the room as it would be to much work to have to pack all of our things up and change rooms and just used the shower as a sink … Maybe they need better maintenance department. We did enjoy everything else .
