Disappointed that Expedia and Hampton Inn didn’t price match, so I paid $300 more than what the hotel was asking for the 2 nights less than 24 hours after the price match cut off. Upon my disappointment, the indoor pool is on the 1st floor with tile by the elevator. Instead of mopping up the wet floor, the night check in guy put up “caution wet floor signs” even the whole walk way is covered in water. Awesome to bring my luggage that way. Also ants were all in the bathroom.

Property was being painted on the outside and there was heavy equipment and noise all weekend. Some parking spaces unavailable due to the equipment. Otherwise, the inside was very clean and comfortable.

Overall good— nice bathrooms, comfy bed, good waffles. Negatives: $75 fee for even the tiniest dog, view of weird mildewed alley out our window, strangely hard feather pillows. Nice front desk staff and pretty landscaping.

Room was pretty expensive for being average. Upon opening the door to the room we were over powered by the strong smell of mildew. My daughter stayed in a separate room and had the same experience. Very strong mildew smell.

Great, quiet stay. 1st room we were given had a bad smell but we were quickly and easily moved to a new room, no questions asked. That is the only reason i gave 4 stars rather than 5. I will definitely stay here again

Very comfortable bed with amazing pillows! The room design was fresh and modern. I loved the more environmentally friendly soap and shampoo dispensers. It was clean and had personal touches added such as your name welcoming you on the tv screen.

The hotel was clean, and service attendants were super friendly and efficient. However, the pillows were very uncomfortable and the pillow cases felt plastic. Lastly, and most importantly, the bathroom had a barn door closure, which provided NO privacy due to the 1-2 inch gap between the wall and the door. For this reason alone, I would NEVER stay at this hotel again.

The room was good. The front desk clerk was unsmiling, verbally short, and acted inconvenienced and frustrated that I was there. Hampton usually trains their people to smile, to be friendly, and to be helpful. This man was none of those.

The hotel itself was great.. hotels.com did not get confirmation from the hotel about date changes and the said the hotel was informed and all good. I got to the hotel and they did not in fact have the change and was a big inconvenience trying to get it cleared up with hotels.com. The hotel itself was a great help and was able to correct the error. Hotels.com let me down with booking and I’m not sure I’ll use them again.

Did not stay here because they refused to check me in without charging me again! According to them we were 15 minutes late. Kimberly at the desk was absolutely terrible. Would not answer the call from the Travelocity manager. Ended up hanging up on the representative. Tried reselling us two rooms but then turned around and told the rep she did not have rooms. Left and stayed at a different hotel down the street. Spoke to manager next day who simply said she was new. Was ensured no charges had been placed on my card yet next day had a charge for over $200. Never ending nightmare would not ever recommend this location/hotel to anyone.

The hotel in Richmond was nice and clean right off the exit with several restaurants. Negative is too close to heavy traffic we were on fist floor and was tired from long day of travel and between noisy traffic and kids running down the hall way anf thin walls hearing kids in the room above we did not get much sleep. Air conditioner is loud when it kicks on For $150.00 per night i exspected more from a Hampton. They had a good idea where they put a sighn in lobby quiet time is from 7.00pm to 7.00 am but they dont enforce it these days people dont care if the are disrupting people sleep

Breakfast food was marginal . Hard boiled eggs had thin skin so it was hard to peal. The cooked eggs and sausage did not look good. The rest was good. The flush on the toilet room 315 was the hardest to flush that I experienced. Had to push on flush handle with force. Extreme !!! Great night rest Overall I rated it a 4 out of 5

I do really enjoy staying at this hotel. It's clean, the staff is friendly, check in and out is convenient. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the breakfast is, well, atrocious. The "eggs" are hard-boiled, served cold, and hard to open. The alternate egg option is a Southwest omelet that looks like plastic and tastes frozen. The fruit is sometimes questionable, and the one meat option is either a weird, rubbery sausage slice or Canadian bacon. They have make your own waffles, but neither if the two waffle options are for Original waffles. Very underwhelming and disappointing. The coffee is just no. It tastes like warm, dirty water. Fortunately there is a starbucks right next to the hotel, so that's a better option for coffee and breakfast. Otherwise, everything was great. I just really wish they would up their breakfast to something more normal, like scrambled eggs, bacon, maybe some real sausage, Original waffle batter, and for the love of all things holy, serve coffee that doesn't taste like a warmed-up rain puddle.

We have stayed here two years in a row now while visiting Kentucky. Staff are so friendly, very professional and welcoming. Rooms are Immaculate, nice little touches in room. Delicious warm breakfast and close to attractions in the area
