This was overall a nice hotel, and fairly clean. However, the pool was closed the entire 4 days I was there. Also, the wifi was dial up speed, so if you expect to be streaming any movies - at 5 mbps - good luck.

The employee who checked us in was nice. The pool was nice and warm and clean, as was the hot tub, but the sauna was shut down. The floor of the pool area could use a resurfacing. The breakfast was small in variety, but good enough to get us started. My daughter and I wanted to swim in the pool before we left, so we headed downstairs at 8:15 (pool was supposed to be open at 8), but the front desk clerk hadn't opened the pool yet. In fact, there was no sign of anyone anywhere near the front desk. That was very disappointing. The screen in our window was busted, and the tub in the bathroom is in severe need of cleaning and new grout. As someone stated in another review, the hotel did, in fact, smell of marijuana, which was not pleasant. The outside door is locked at all times, and the card reader didn't work, so we had to prop the door open just to get back in the building.

The breakfast was very limited, coffee was not great. Staff living in the hotel and can be heard at odd hours of the morning 1-5 am banging around and just being very disruptive. Hotel was not busy first night but they ran out of pillows. Front doors would be a lot better if they were automatic sliding doors instead of push/pull open when arms are full with luggage also no hadicap button for the doors. The hotel towels were probably the smallest i've ever seen. The hottub jets were not working and they did say they have not been working for over a year and they have been trying to fix but no luck. Also housekeeping knocked on the door more then 3 hrs before check out time even though the do not disturb sign was on the door.

The back door did not work with room key. The railing on pool is very loose. Towel bar in bathroom was not anchored to wall. Bathroom shower ceiling looks like mold could be starting. Jets on hot tub kick in for like 5-8 seconds and shut off. This has been like this for two years (from someone who has stayed there). Good location and breakfast was fine but needs some maintenance done. Too much money for that room even if an event weekend

The room was filthy there was cockroaches crawling on the wall The lock on the door was broken looked like the door had been kicked in several times front desk was never available when I went down to talk to them electrical outlet by the air conditioner has a shorts or something cuz it sparks every time I turn the heater on so I froze I will never stay at the hotel ever again nor will I suggest anyone stay there that place should be abandoned condemned couldn't even eat the breakfast cuz the cockroaches crawling around it's ridiculous.

Room was dirty, staff was nice... thats about the only good thing i can say about this hotel. Mattress was stained and nasty, toilet looked it hadnt been cleaned, the dresser had crumbs all over it etc. Definitely not impressed but it worked for a quick overnight stay. Would not stay there again tho

We needed a place to stay before flying out early the next morning and were literally just sleeping here. The front desk clerk was great! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable (though this is subjective). The only issue we had, and this was NOT the fault of the hotel, was the train that came through 3 times during the night blowing the whistle. We would stay here again. It's an easy 10-15 minute drive to the airport and the price was right!

The carpeting was dirty. The comforter was stained. There was a horrible smell in the hallway. The pool and the hot tub looked very unsanitary. It was listed as a handicap room, but the shower was a tub shower combination with handrails, not a roll in. The beds were very elevated and there was not adequate space in the room to maneuver. The hot breakfast was very minimal, all carbohydrates. I would not recommend or stay here again.

We had a fairly nice one night stay here but the property has some definite need of some upgrades and repairs. Tub faucet almost falling off in my hand, bathroom light/fan SUPER loud and grindy…. For a few minutes, then quiets a bit. We chose this hotel SPECIFICALLY for the hot tub to smooth our achy muscles during our road trip only to arrive and find it out of order along with the sauna!! They have a printed out sign hanging near it specify that they have tried fixing it and that they don’t know how to do it, so sorry for the inconvenience. I think they need to update their website with current information so people know before booking. Breakfast was ok. Staff was friendly.

The shower handle had to be pulled so hard it looked like it would break and the manager had to show us how to pull it on. The desk light had a short in it. The ac sounded like construction outside and bathroom light had short in it and took a couple clicks of switch to come on.

Location is convenient off the highway, staff was friendly but the room is in need of repair and deep cleaning and making sure assignment of room is correct. There was a bullet hole in the wall, carpet was held together by duct tape, and the bathroom needed a deep cleaning. We were also giving the wrong room at first (yes someone was occupying that room) so we had to return to front desk for another room assignment. The bed was very comfortable & clean sheets so if you need to sleep for few hours the location is great and price was reasonable but a for a vacation stay I would look else where.

What a joke worked a 11 hour day drove 5 hrs to get here it was midnight before we got to our room 219 n the air wouldn't work so turned it off to see if would reset it started working but was so loud couldnt stand to leave it on n front desk wouldnt do nothing said room wasnt even supposed to be used cause locks dont work on the doors half the time what a dump!!! O n the front desk said they couldnt do nothing for us kinda hard to wake up n move ur wife n kid at 2 n the morning!!!

I arrived and the counter manager had headphones in or something in the back room because he couldn’t hear me calling for assistance. I called the phone a ton of times and nothing happened. I walked around the entire hotel looking for the manager finally I gave up and was about to leave when he happened to walk out of the back office. It was 2:20 am when I arrived from a long drive. It took me 20 minutes to find this moron. That’s less sleep that I get now as I still have to get up early.

No one there to check me in. A sign said they would be back soon. I waited about 5 minutes and left . I came back almost an hour later and there was a lobby full of people waiting to check in. Still no one to check us in. One man was on the phone with someone letting them know that there wasn't anyone there to check us all in. About 10 minutes later the employee walks through the door carrying a bag with take out containers in it. The man that was on the phone told the guy that we all should get free night stay and asked the employee how we would be compensated for our wait. The employee stood up from his chair, and challenged the guy to a fight as he was walking around to come in the lobby. The guys wife said we are not staying here now And the whole family left.

I had a very late checkin and that went well. I tried reaching the front desk several times, once for a wake up call and 3 times for a different blow dryer. No answer. I finally went down to the front desk and YELLED for someone. Service was not good. The fixtures in the room were dirty and sticky. Sad.

We stayed here for about a month while our RV was being repaired. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was amazing! Everyone was really friendly and helpful. There's an excellent restaurant next door (Rodeside Grill) and it's close to Madison and DeForest.

The room itself was fine, but the front desk guy was AWFUL! So rude and unprofessional. I don't know why he works there because he obviously hates his job. This is not the kind of person I would want representing my business. However, the room itself was clean and comfortable, so that was good. Breakfast was standard but fine.

Good hotel for cheaper stay during University of Wisconsin football game weekend. Room less fancy but fine. There was no clothes rack (had been removed along with a light switch by the door). Breakfast continental with waffles the only hot portion.

Most everything was fine, but the breakfast the first morning we not. Apparently one of the workers did not show and the other did not know how to refill the yogurt machine and then there was no coffee for about 30 minutes. This is not acceptable when the rate is well over $200 per night.
