From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendliest staff! Cye and the entire team were helpful and knowledgeable and always seemed interested in helping me enjoy my time here. The room and property were clean and well maintained. I enjoyed using the gym next door and really had fun shopping and dinning… there were so many excellent choices! I will definitely return to this location next time I visit the Raleigh Durham area.

The property is in a great location at North Hills in an area called Mid-town Raleigh. Great restaurants, shopping, movie theater, and many one of kind shops. It was great for me with Tesla Superchargers just outside the garage. We’ll stay there again when we return to Raleigh, NC

Very nice area. Easy check in easy parking, and we had a UHAUL trailer. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Plenty of stores and restaurants immediately around the hotel. Definitely would stay here again.

Small issue at check-in, my website and yours didn't communicate well, however it was fixed in a few minutes. All amenities explained, enjoyed the 10th floor privacy and valet parking! The location is awesome, everything in North Hills shopping is a short walk away, great food places, great shopping, felt safe!!

We were very disappointed with our stay. We were traveling for our anniversary and were referred to this hotel. Issue #1. The elevator from the parking deck was out with no sign to indicate this. After a night on the town, we returned to the hotel and had to walk around to the front of the hotel with luggage in tow from the parking deck in the cold at midnight. We complained to the front desk & he casually advised the elevator was down. I explained there was no sign posted which was so upsetting. Issue #2 When we get to the room the heat in our room was out and only blowing cool air. The maintenance guy came to check it and it resulted in us having to pack up and move to another room after midnight. Issue #3. We had to call to the front desk because our room had no wash clothes only hand towels and towels. Overall this hotel is too pricey to deliver this mediocrity. I doubt I will be returning and will certainly share my experience.

Unfortunately when I got there a I had to cancel because their boiler broke down and they had no hot water and had not be able to get it back working since 8am. This is usually my go to hotel when in that area so I was very disappointed. They did give me a full refund.

Parking in the lower deck vs. valet parking is a plus because you can park and take the elevator up; no hotel key needed! Be sure to ask for the North Hills view side of the hotel because it is prettier than the interstate side. Breakfast was good for the $20/pp rate.

We absolutely love staying at The Renaissance Hotel most of the time. It’s a close walk to shopping and food. Staff are always excellent! We spent one night for our anniversary the first weekend in March, it was not as special as previous stays. The staff were excellent as normal. My complaint was it was hot in the room and even when someone came to look at our thermostat it stayed hot all night. We even purchased fans from Target. The worst part was their main water line busted in the middle of the night and we had no hot water to shower or freshen up before checkout. They did discount the stay but overall our stay was a 4 out of 10, normally it’s a 10 out of 10. Total disappointment from our normal stays.

Helpful front desk staff. Hotel is what you would expect for the price point. Decent sized room, comfortable bed, nice toiletries. On parking... Self parking is included but is hard to find. Go down the hill for covered parking and follow signs for the hotel. The front area is tiny and used for checking in and valet. So you could easily pay for valet unnecessarily. There is an elevator in the parking garage that takes you straight to the lobby. Much easier than fighting traffic at the front of the hotel.

The property was beautiful; however, there was no hot water during our entire stay. We were supposed to have a breakfast the morning of our departure, but because there was a broken pipe, the restaurant was closed . The staff were super nice and did what they could. Biggest problem was NO HOT WATER!!!

Checked in and checked out the next day. It was that bad. The carpet was FILTHY. I killed two roaches in the day and an half I was there. Description stated that all room was non smoking, this one smelled like an ashtray. No Air Conditioning in 100 degree weather. Bed had a huge dip that made it terribly uncomfortable in room 811. Someone in the parking garage scratched into my brand new 2023 Jeep and I strongly think it was the hotel staff. I asked several times to have a room change because of the air conditioning and the guy at the front desk refused and said I’ve already had the best room using the Expedia bookings. I later saw two roaches crawling into the bathroom. I asked for a refund immediately, they refused. Bed was never slept in because it was too hot to sleep. Don’t waste your time booking on Expedia- because they brought up all the rundown rooms and overcharging guests for garbage.

Check in at 4pm but our room wasn’t ready until 7pm and then they had the nerve to give us a hard time for requesting a late checkout on their least busy day (actually overheard a staff member complaining about what a slow day they were having with only about 30 people checking in that day). Our carpet was stained and almost crunchy/rough to the touch.

Lobby is lovely and well take care of, however the hotel is very dated and worn. Rooms are a bit tattered and refreshment would be much appreciated. We paid for premium accommodation by booming Renaissance, however, our stay was not as expected. Carpet, bathrooms, and room was worn and in need of updating.

I had a room at the end of the hall above the roof w/HVAC units and right beside the interstate. I'm pretty sure the entire back of the hotel is on the interstate. It was VERY loud. Really hard to sleep, bathroom smelled like mold. Food at the Italian restaurant connected to the hotel was 2 stars at best. I didn't stay long enough to check out the amenities. Nice location

It was a very average hotel with slightly below-average rooms at higher than average cost. The light fixtures and furniture felt cheap and showed signs of wear. The shower was weak, and the water was lukewarm. I called ahead to confirm room's amenities with on-site guest services and was told no coffee maker; no mini fridge; no microwave; wifi at additional charge. But hey, you get a SAFE, a hair dryer, and an iron/ironing board. There are higher quality lodging options for the same or lower pricing.

The staff needs some work. My husband and I who are Marriott Bonvoy members were denied breakfast rudely by a female front desk employee. The first room that we were given had no working AC in the room and fridge was warm. I am so disappointed and dissatisfied!

The hotel said you all didnt book my room correct and when i arrived they didnt have a room. They then gave me a downgraded room and when i went to pay for the incidental deposit they recharged me the full price of the room again $317 extra an then tells me they issued a refund and its up to my bank when the money returns back to my card. This was a horrible experience!

This was my second time staying at this hotel. I booked through Expedia and requested 2 adjoining rooms or 2 rooms next to each other. I called the morning of my arrival to confirm this request and also request a crib. The gentleman I spoke with let me know I would receive a call back. I never heard back so called at 2pm asking if the rooms would be ready. I waited in the hotel lobby with my 4 young kids until check in at 4, at which time only one room was ready. My next room was ready after we went to dinner around 7 but no one called to let me know. I believe they are very short staffed. The valet was excellent and very friendly and professional.

The front desk staff were super helpful, especially Emily. I had to call down at 1:45 am because the room next to me was playing music so loudly it woke me up. The front desk promptly took care of the issue and it was resolved effectively. The breakfast buffet was well stocked. Shopping and dining nearby was excellent. Super convenient to walk around and get fresh air. Target is also close by if you need any supplies. There is ample parking in the attached garage, as well as valet if needed. Overall, the stay was lovely and I would go back.

The checkin process was smooth. I got there a little early and my room was ready. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I had lunch at the hotel’s restaurant and it was amazing. The bartender was nice enough to make me a mocktail (they aren’t on the menu), which was amazing. My room was clean. I thought the pillows were a so soft, which is my only complaint. I had the buffet breakfast which was really good. Also, they had turkey sausage which was a plus. Restaurants were in walking distance. I would stay at this hotel again.

This is a beautiful property with easy parking, great access to shopping and a multitude of restaurants. Our room was 519, we found it to be extremely noisy due to being faced towards a multi lane highway. The room itself was beautiful, just very disruptive due to noise. My husband ate at the restaurant on premises, and found that at least 3 items listed on menu were not available, which was disappointing and ultimately made him leave to eat elswhere. The staff was very nice during check-in and throughout our short stay.
