Definitely not the best Holiday inn experience I’ve ever had. The first room we walked into had such an overwhelming smell of urine that it took our breath away when we walked in. Went downstairs to report this and we were told that there wasn’t another suite available but we could have a standard room and PURCHASE an additional standard room to accommodate all of the people in our party. I declined that option, and the clerk attended to call the manager who didn’t answer. So, we just stuck with the one standard room at an upcharge since we got charged for a suite and went and also spent an extra $43 on a blow up mattress from Walmart for the 5th person in our party to sleep on the floor. The front desk clerk was friendly and gave us extra sheets for the blow up. The next room was clean and I’m sure non of the hotel workers peed the bed of the previous room but, I also didn’t pee all over the room either so it wasn’t my fault either. The outdoor pool was great and so was the breakfast. So, not the worst place I’ve ever stayed at but also not the best either

The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was also good. We were placed in a bad location, by the elevators in a handicap room even though we were not handicapped. The noise from above and outside and by the elevator made it difficult to sleep.

Everything about the property was fine. It is the Expedia experience needs improvement. First, I made a two room reservation for two (2) nights. The folks that were to stay there could not make it the first day. I tried contacting Expedia through customer service and that didn’t go very well. The telephonic menu in trying to get to the right person to resolve the issue was problematic, and I just couldn’t get through. When the parties arrived the second day, it was learned that the reservation was all together canceled. I had paid for the two day stay in advance. A new reservation needed to be made and paid with a different credit card. At the end of the day, the reservation was paid twice. One to Expedia and one directly to the hotel. I will be calling Expedia tomorrow and try to negotiate an arrangement. I have used Expedia for a number of years and nothing like this has happened before.

The staff at this hotel are great. The hotel itself is a little bit run down. My room was very clean but it smelled musty. I should have asked for another room, I didn't. After spending two night in the room I ended up with a head cold. If your room smells musty ask for another one.

What a bad experience I will never forget! They gave my prepaid room to another gentleman, but still booked me in it, on arrival. I was very surprised to open the door and find a man in his underwear, in the room I was just given keys to. The staff was not really apologetic and very confused, which made me extra confused on the situation. They ended up giving me the man’s booked room, a king standard room, and let him stay in the double queen suite I had paid for. I was still charged for the double suite. Money lost out of my pocket and was never reimbursed for… The manager promised me a free room voucher, but I never received one that evening, so I brought up what was promised to a different staff member the next morning. He requested that I get 4000 points but needed management permission. A couple hours later, I only received 2000 points. 32,000 points is needed for a free stay. Nothing near what was promised from the manager the night of the incident. In the end, I lost money, had a scaring experience, could not sleep that night afraid that someone would just walk in my room, and was lied to. I will never book here again!
