This property is in a great location with lots of food options, shopping, cafes, and near all prime locations. The breakfast had ample variety which was delicious. The hotel had a beautiful terrace where you can see views of old Hanoi and pretty sunrises/sunsets. The rooms were spacious with great bedding and bathroom amenities.

My husband and I just had a fantastic stay at the Oriental Suites Hotel and Spa for ten days. The hotel is located in the old quarter and we were able to explore the old quarter and the french quarter on foot. We used the spa and had massages, body scrubs and facials. Fantastic service and exceptionally reasonably priced. The staff are exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has a travel desk which we used to organise a walking street food tour, train street and a cruises in Ha Long bay. All excursions were well organised and Ha Long bay on the ambassador signature cruise was a highlight of our trip. The staff had recommendations for eating and shopping and always greated us like we were old friends when we returned to the hotel. I simply cannot say enough good things about all the staff in this hotel. Incredibly pleasant, helpful, well-mannered and friendly. We cannot wait to return!

Great location in the Old Quarter, just a couple of hundred yards from the Hanoi equivalent of Oxford Circus, so busy but not mental. Walking distance to a lot of sights, night market on a weekend, but very contained and clears out by 23.00. Some building works next door during our stay but hotel staff were so apologetic about it and the atmosphere so relaxed we just got on with it. Spa closed for renovation, used one of the sister hotels instead. Worth paying for a larger room / with view, not sure how well the neighbouring works would have been tolerated in a smaller room with no window.

This was a clean and comfortable hotel to stay in. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Even arranged a taxi to the airport for me. This hotel was much more quiet than other hotels I've used in Hanoi. They were responsive to my emails which doesn't always happen. I would definitely recommend this hotel and think it's a really great value for the price.

Location was very convenient and mostly walkable distance. Small room but fairly clean except for some blood stain on the douvet cover. Staff took care of it once notified. Breakfast staff ask lots of 'Why'questions when we requested if we can pack some breakfast to go for our child due to early tour bus pickup.

The room was spacious including the bathroom. Everything was clean and the shower pressure was amazing (strong and actual good hot water that didn't run out). The breakfast options are great too, so recommend adding that to your reservation. Overall service was great, with everyone super friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was that there were little ants around the room - some crawled onto the bed and into my bags... I know this is common in Vietnam homes, but didn't expect them in a hotel.

下水臭い部屋だったので、部屋を変えてもらいました。その次の部屋も多少臭かったですが、スタッフの方々は快く部屋を変えてくれました。設備は少し古い印象はありましたが、スタッフはとてもフレンドリーで丁寧でした。心地よい良い滞在となりました。

Small room with no natural light. The window went out to nothing. We found a lot of hair in the bed and on the floor. The rooms are too small for 2 persons with travel bags - it is not for staying in the daytime, only for sleeping. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast area is nice and cozy.

到着が０時位になってしまいましたが、チェックイン可能でした。但し、スタッフの方が完全に私服で対応でしたので通常業務は終わっていたのかもしれません。一報入れておくべきでした。立地は最高でした。旧市街の中にありますので徒歩にて色々観光できます。リンラン方面へ行きたい方はちょっと不便かもですね。部屋は少々古さを感じました。建物自体、かなり古いのだと思います。宿泊費がそんなに高くはないので、コスパで考えると良いホテルでした。

Room is small and dark. No desk for laptop use or eating on. Breakfast is average with the same options every day. Wifi is on and off sometimes but speed is fast when it is working. The staff here is probably the only thing I can rave out. They are nice and courteous. Overall just an average hotel for me.

Our first night, the air conditioning wasn’t working and the hotel tried to fix but when it couldn’t be fixed, instead of putting me in a different room the bellboy brought in a standing fan. I was too tired to complain that late in the night and slept in the hot room.After that incident, the front desk staff was apologetic and extremely helpful. They more than made up for the failed air conditioner. Would stay here again and recommend this property. Thank you to each front desk personnel who went above and beyond to make my trip the best it could be (despite that first night). ❤️❤️

We loved our stay at the Oriental Suites Hotel & Spa! While we did not have a window facing outside, this allowed our room to be exceptionally quiet throughout the night. The staff were amazing!! Breakfast was fantastic. The hotel was very clean and in prime location. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great location, close to Beer street and Hoan Kiem Lake. Good breakfast and the staff were very helpful. The room has no outside window, the “window” looks into a interior atrium. The weekend night market is located on the same street as the hotel. Overall a great hotel in the heart of Hanoi.

Didnt receive any VIP upgrade or anything as advertised, was imposed a $30 late check out even though it would have been an entitlement, rain shower was broken, aircon was not at 19deg, door was spoilt so it was inconvenient to get in and out as I have to wait for the staff. The staff was apologetic I was okay but the manager attitude was like "oh yes late check out is chargeable" so I declined.

I've stayed in about 6 different places in Old Town Hanoi including another place this trip right before I checked into the Oriental Suite. This was by far the best hotel I've found in the area, especially for the price. Mike and Bella were amazing and went above and beyond. This was for my honeymoon and Mike had a special surprise waiting for us in our hotel. After multiple hotels in Hanoi, I've finally found my hotel that I will be booking and recommending everytime.

We enjoyed our stay at Oriental Hotel. The staff, especially Vivian, Sam, and Bob were super helpful and friendly. It was raining and the street in front of the hotel was blocked off so Bob accompanied us to ensure we met a grab at the correct location. Breakfast is good but there is no dining for dinner. Very charming and quaint atmosphere would definitely stay again if travel brings me back to Hanoi.

We made a booking with the concierge to go to Cat Ba Island, and on the day we were to travel we found that a super typhoon was heading directly for Cat Ba Island, so I enquired if it would make sense to cancel the trip. She informed me that it was not a big deal, and just to go ahead. On the three hour bus ride to Cat Ba we found out that the Island would be shut down for multiple days and we would not be able to return as scheduled. The net is we had to turn right back around the next morning in order to get off the island. Also, there was at least a 40 percent surcharge on the tickets she booked.

The staff at Oriental Suites went above and beyond to help us have a great stay in Hanoi, arranging a series of transfer cars for everywhere we wanted to go. They also tracked our overall itinerary and helped facilitate the tour company’s pickups each morning. Great Location, street closes weekends for Markets at your door. Lake 5 Minute Walk, Beer Corner 10 Minute Walk. One of the most comfortable beds in our last 30 nights in Vietnam. Good Breakfast Selection. Rooms are a bit small but the bed was a winner for us.

Location is perfect for exploring old town. The street in front of the hotel hosts the night market on weekends. During the night market the area is closed to cars, so if arriving on a weekend night, talk to hotel first, they will help. Staff fulfilled many little extra wishes with a smile. Rooms were clean and spacious. Rooms with "balcony" face a quiet courtyard, rooms with "city view" the market street.

Location is amazing. Right on the night shopping street which occurs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Rooms were spacious and the bathroom modern. The staff were very accommodating and customer focused. Will stay here again on our next visit.

The staff were amazing. Evelyn was particularly helpful in arranging our trip to Halong Bay which was amazing. She also took good care of our oversized luggage while we were away. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided a variety of great items.

Hotel was in a great location that's close to the night market, cafes, shops and some attractions. Staff was very helpful & friendly. They upgraded one of our nights from a deluxe room to a bigger room with balcony because it was available. The breakfast (included with our room reservation) was very good & had a good variety of food, including Asian foods (e.g. noodles, porridge) & western-style foods, fresh fruits, variety of beverages. The room was clean & comfortable. We did have a minor problem: the TV was not working in our room because the cable connector was missing and they couldn't get it replaced during the weekend. Another minor issue: I noticed a slight foul smell upon entering the lobby. I'm not sure if the scent was from the burning incense in the lobby altar or from something else. On the second day, I didn't notice the smell as much. Overall the stay was comfortable and great value for the money.
