Cons: - Rooms have zero sound proofing. - Rooms and service feel like a basic hostel yet you are paying 4 star prices. Also no kitchen. Plus they dont provide a kettle in any of the rooms. - Reception is often empty. We only stayed here as we could not find any other hotel within an hour to landmannalaugar. They seem to know this, hence the extreme pricing.

Sehr nettes Personal und leckere Burger! Diese Unterkunft ist recht weit oben und es gibt sonst nur wenige Alternativen. Es gibt einen Aufenthaltsraum, der gleichzeitig auch als Essensraum genutzt wird. Die Unterkunft hat eine kleine Sauna, die kostenlos benutzt werden darf.

Great service and great food. The water heater runs out of hot water quickly so don’t take too long in the shower. Sauna was an amazing plus and the staff are very attentive and considerate.

Perfekt ställe att ha som bas för att utforska höglandet. Enkelt men rent och fräscht med mycket bra frukost.- bättre utbud än Foss Hotel. Trevlig personal. Vi bokade ett tillgänglighets anpassat rum för att få ett lite större rum. Stort badrum, skön dubbelsäng, många handdukar, schampo, lotion och balsam, tofflor. Testade även bastun som var helt ok. Inte så stor varmvattenberedare, så det går inte att långduscha utan paus. Vi kommer gärna igen!

This hotel is really far from normal tourists spots but we wanted to hike a mountain near by so I selected this location. I really enjoyed our time here and the view was pristine and untouched land. The rooms have big windows so you have a great view.

Even though the property is located in quite a remote area, it’s very well maintained and offers great value for the price. The cleanliness and upkeep really stood out. I was especially pleased to find that the breakfast included a good variety of vegetarian and vegan options. A great choice if you don’t mind a quieter, off-the-beaten-path location and valley of tears and other breathtaking locations are also close to this spot. The only caveat is you need to let the hotel know about the late checkin and sometimes they dont pick up phone being short staffed.
