Best Western Plus Surprise-Phoenix NW

Very nice 1 night stay on our travels through Arizona. Great buffet breakfast was included. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the near by plazas. There was a washer and dryer in the building that we were able to do our laundry which was a big plus for us.

We needed a place for one night in Surprise and Best Western fit the bill. Nicole checked is in efficiently and we were settled in our room within 15 minutes. The hot tub pool area is convenient…. not very busy the evening we were there.

good place to stay. my only issue, surprisingly, was with the EV chargers. the night woman gave me instructions, but her instructions were wrong. when I tried to "correct" her, she was not interested at all. suggestion: but the EV charging instructions on a sign!

We have stayed here a couple of times. Staff is great. Breakfast good. Pool needs better cleaning and hot tub as well. They are ok but not great. Rooms and Beds are comfortable.

Very good policy concerning dogs

The free breakfast was above what we expected. Fresh and clean and plenty of choices. We were disappointed the hot tub was not working and the pool was not heated. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Picked this hotel because it was pet-friendly with no weight limit on dogs. I brought my dog & had to drive somewhere else everyday because there is not even a small patch of grass at the hotel! The gym was mediocre at best. There were no cleaning wipes…gross! It’s honestly the first hotel I’ve ever stayed at that didn’t have one single treadmill! Five minutes into riding the janky exercise bike, the tv went out and it was only audio. The beds were comfortable and my family said there was a good variety at breakfast.

Pleasant stay. Courteous staff.Coffee maker gave up on second day. Nice free hot drinks in lobby area.

Front desk was efficient and welcoming. Quiet and restful nights sleep. Hotel has been renovated. Quality job which shows one rooms, halls, and common areas. We will be back.

The room was dirty and there was even old food in tupperware left in the fridge. There was no hot water for the 2 days i stayed and when bringing this to the attention of staff they just blew me off. Was also harassed by staff about me parking in a hanicap parking when im disabled and have a handicap plaquer hanging from the rear view mirror in my car. Front desk staff was rude and disrespectful. I will never stay at the hotel again and i would never recommend that anyone else stay there.

Very disappointed. Room carpet was visibly dirty and not vacuumed when we arrived. They want us to another room which was in similar condition. We stayed 3 nights and never had our room serviced despite specifically asking for service. Will not stay again or recommend to anyone else.

We had a good nights sleep but there were other issues. The BW is being remodeled and the improvements are going in the correct direction - TV, desk, dresser, bathroom overall, and bed are improved. The toilet set is original and the finish is worn thru, doors worn, and the AC is noisy and has limited regulation so more items to go on remodel. The smell of smoking permeated the halls from time to time so something the hotel needs to look into.

Thin floors and noisy. Sounded like a heard of elephants having a party upstairs.

We were here in 2022. Had a great room, fresh and clean. Booked another 7 days in 2023, if I have my dates correct, Reservations were cancelled due to hotel fire. This year we booked 7 days and realized we were coming in a day early, so added another day for a total of 8. We were excited to be back. However, when we walked into our room, we felt let down and very disappointed. Maybe a good way to describe the room is it was more tired looking like an older hotel. I know someone has to have it, but our view out our window for 8 days was of the roof. Looking forward to coming to Surprise next year.

Probably the best, Best Western I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are huge, comfy beds, and a very nice breakfast and breakfast area. The front desk staff was so kind and speedy!

My room was clean which I liked. The staff were personable. Though I left before breakfast was served, I appreciated that was something that was available. My AC unit was very noisy, and I awakened many times when it turned on. This is a common occurrence in other facilities other than Best Westerns. Overall, I was pleased with the accommodations.

Shower took literally 5 minutes to get hot water. Problems with internet. BED BUGS!

I was not happy with the condition of the room. The pillows were so small I wouldn’t consider it a normal pillow, the tv didn’t get any sports channels, and our shower was not in normal working condition. The handles were stripped and just kept spinning. It was already late and we were tired so they had to come to our room the next day to fix the shower. I would never stay here again.

Well this is my 2nd stay here. The rooms are nice. However, I am not sure why the doors are so high from the floor. I had to put a towel at the front door to keep sound from outside to come in.

Noisy A/C Other than that everything was good.

Room was spacious and clean, definitely worth the price of 126 per day. However, our AC was very loud during the night, which kept us awake. But the front desk was told about it and it was completely replaced in a few hours. The breakfast is decent and the staff is nice. Except the causian older lady with glassed thay works evenings, she need to fix her attitude she makes you feel like you are a bother. Other than that, everyone is exceptional and kind.

We checked in very late at night. Despite the hour, the person at the front desk was very nice ands helpful.

Upon arriving at 2am we were told our reservation was cancelled and we would have to book a new room and pay an early check in fee. My hotels.com confirmation said check in until 5 am- now I was charged twice for 5 hours at the hotel- zero customer service and hospitality

The staff is superb at this hotel. The breakfast changes daily and it is a full breakfast. It was delicious. If back in Phoenix we will absolutely be back.

The property was ok but my rooms AC was extremely loud and weird sounding and leaking water. I let them know in the morning and came back at night only to find out no one had even shared my concern or addressed it. I switched rooms and that was way better. I will say the cleaning staff do an amazing job and should be applauded.

I do not have any complaints what so ever. Easy navigation, close to restaurants, close to venue I needed to be at. Hotel room was nice, beds were nice, shower pressure was nice and ac was nice.

The hotel is adjacent to a frequently used railroad track and was awaken twice during the night by train whistles

The hotel is located in an area where there are several stores and restaurants in walking distance or very short driving distance.

Front desk people were friendly and helpful. Restaurants close by. Unable to take advantage of the free breakfast as had to check into a surgical center that morning.

They had the best breakfast possible: 6:30 am - 9:30 am. Parking was easy, and close to many attractions and dining. Highly recommend this hotel.....

Hotel was nice. Centrally located. Restaurants everywhere. Easy access to major streets. Only drawback was the train noise in the early morning and traffic noise from the Lowe’s next door.

very quiet and nice staff: breakfast every morning was a good bonus. also there is a target within walking distance and a shopping center as well.

Stayed 5 nights. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Situated closed to shopping areas in Surprise (it's right next to a Lowe's and Target). The rooms are quiet and there is a decent selection of DirecTV channels, including free HBO. The breakfast buffet is limited but filling - two waffle stations, two hot items (typically an egg dish and either bacon, sausage or potatoes), plus a few bread selections, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, and cereals. Buffet is offered daily from 6:30a - 9:30a. Coffee & juice are available 24/7 in the kitchen/buffet area, which is nice since the in-room Keurig machine & coffee pods are horrible/undrinkable. The bathroom is decent but basic with basic shampoo, conditioner & lotion amenities, plus a hair dryer. Showerhead height is great - above my head. And the water pressure from the showerhead is so strong, you could probably strip a piece of wood! There's also a microwave & mini-fridge which is great for keeping leftovers or for grocery supplies. Bed is comfortable with plenty of pillows. I did not try the sofa bed in the adjoining seating area. Linens are white, clean and new - no old-fashioned coverings. Please note that there is no daily housekeeping service, although supplies are always available at the front desk, and service is available if requested. The staff were all friendly, courteous, helpful and attentive. All-in-all, a good experience - I would stay here again.

We love Best Western, the stay this time was good, better breakfast at the Phoenix Downtown location. We experienced problem with the AC. The unit appeared to struggle pushing out cool air. During our first evening, we reported that the unit would make a loud jackhammer noise every twenty minutes. I reported it to the front desk and the counter person said she would have maintenance look at it. The unit continued to make the noise during both nights of stay. We kind of got used to it. I did again upon checking out let the young lady at the front desk know. She again said a work order would be initiated.

Service was great. Breakfast was a variety of hot and cold and plenty of food. Room was very spacious. Bed was comfortable. Water was nice and warm. AC worked very well. Located near many stores.

Breakfast is the same EVERYDAY! The whole 3 days I was there anyways. Otherwise, that’s the only negative I can think of.

Breakfast was ok, but the eggs and sausage was loaded with salt. Everything else was 5 Stars!

My mom and I had a lovely stay. The breakfast was delicious with many options, the quiet after 10pm is great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect. Everything we needed for our visit. We were very impressed with our stay and rate it 10 out of 10. Thank you!
