Terrible stay. Not at all as pictured. That cute lobby with the alleged cafe and bar? Torn up, doesn't exist. There were no amenities in our room, only bar soap. We had a longer stay and housekeeping didn't come once. Whenever we went to the front desk to request fresh towels, there was no one there even though it's supposed to be a 24/7 desk. Luckily there was staff there when we checked in and out, but they did not speak to us, only gestured because I do not believe they spoke English. Not to mention the neighborhood is horrendous and unsafe, but you can't blame the hotel for that. I don't know how there are so many positive reviews of this place. I really feel duped.

The hotel is in a terrible location with lots of unhoused in the area and people always sitting on the front steps of the entry way. There was a smoke detector constantly beeping because the battery was low somewhere on our floor. Front desk was notified multiple times through out our stay and was never fixed. There was what looked like black mold on the wall above our shower. The faucet handle to the bath/shower was broken. The door to our room notifies us to make sure to deadbolt the door while we are in the room and sleeping for our safety; however, the deadbolt was broken off.

This place is a mess. There were smoke alarms on our floor chirping the entire 4 days we were there. We told the front desk multiple times and each person that we told would nod and act like they cared. Nothing was ever done. There is one elevator and at times it wasn't available. Our room had the security lock torn off, so we couldn't use that while we slept. Our sink only had hot water and the faucet was falling off. The toilet roll holder was hanging out of the wall. There was painters tape wrapped around our main light. There were paper cups in 2 of our light fixtures. The fire detector in our room was covered in plastic. There isn't circulating air in the rooms, but we were able to use the ceiling fan and open the windows. The problem with opening the windows is it is chaos outside. Had to sleep with earplugs and sound machine. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
