Great location, right on the water! My favorite place was the screened in porch! Very clean home with extras (fully stocked kitchen utensils, bathroom products, nice clean grill, and more).We would love to return during a warmer lake season!

The cabin is older but the interior is beautifully remodeled with modern touches. The master bath is amazing with an oversized shower and a relaxing jetted tub. The kitchen was well-stocked with skillets, pans, cookie sheets, etc. We aren't coffee drinkers but there were multiple coffee pots, sweeteners and creamers. The only thing we wish we had was more seasonings (garlic salt, etc) to use for our meals but that's on us. The lakefront is beautiful. We spent hours in the lounge chairs at the water's edge reading a book and enjoying the peace. Every evening multiple deer would walk into the front yard to hang out and we were entertained by ducks and geese the entire time. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return!

This property is all it says it is and more. We had a wonderful time. The cabin is gorgeous and very up to date. It is right on the water. If you have a boat they have a boat slip you can use. Also you can just pull your boat right up to the house. Courtney was fantastic answered all questions in a very quick manner. All in all a wonderful time and a place to stay.

Cottage is very well equipped from the kitchen clear up to the patio and fire pit. We had a great time. We are looking forward to renting this place again. The owner was very nice. She was also very resourceful for recommendation places to eat. We highly recommend this location.

This is not our first time to stay at the Lazy Possum and it definitely won't be our last. Steps away from the lake, all things you need or want come with this cottage. We love late nights just sitting, relaxing on the screened in back porch as well as having coffee in the mornings there too. House is comfy, cozy and just perfect for my husband and myself, we love it!

Absolutely the best ! We loved everything about it . Clean , comfortable , roomy, they thought of everything ! Lots of lake area to play in with the kids shallow sandy not good for beaching a boat , but they have a slip so again perfect ! This is now our favorite place .

Perfect for our summer vacation. Lake was about 95% full so there was plenty of sand for the kids to play in. Water depth was a gradual, gentle slope. For a 6ft individual had to go out quite far to get chest deep. Again, perfect for me and my family. The house appears to have been remodeled recently and was beautiful and well-kept. Everything was not as described- it was more! We really enjoyed the enclosed patio with a great lake view. We met one of the neighbors who was quite pleasant. Others in the area were friendly as well. It seemed to be a quiet area, no unreasonable or excessive noise. Courtney was excellent in her communications with us. She provided so much more than was required. The small details, such as having snacks and everything necessary for coffee were above and beyond. The property is very roomy and very clean! You step out onto the screened in back porch and you are at the lake. Shade trees cover the seating area. There were floats and beach toys for the kids to play with in the sand. The AC works amazing! It was so nice and cool when we returned from our baseball tournament! Courtney was an amazing host and answered my questions within minutes!

We enjoyed our stay. Great location on the water! Lots of restaurants within 10 min. Bring starter fluid if you want a fire on the beach. We did not care much for the memory foam mattress, but we are spoiled with our sleep number bed at home. The screened in porch and updated furnishings were nice.

This home was just as described. My husband and I had an enjoyable time at this lake house. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathrooms were great. Loved watching the sunsets from the screened porch.

The place was exactly as it was presented and enjoyed our stay. The beautiful backyard to the lake, the cozy stay in the house, and the great hospitality from Courtney made our weekend so enjoyable.

This property was amazing and just as described! Courtney is a wonderful host and very helpful with any questions you may have. We had such a relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend and will be returning! House was very clean and she has everything you may need. Beautiful lake and surrounding area as well!

The property is very roomy and very clean! You step out onto the screened in back porch and you are at the lake. Shade trees cover the seating area. There were floats and beach toys for the kids to play with in the sand. The AC works amazing! It was so nice and cool when we returned from our baseball tournament! Courtney was an amazing host and answered my questions within minutes!

The cabin is older but the interior is beautifully remodeled with modern touches. The master bath is amazing with an oversized shower and a relaxing jetted tub. The kitchen was well-stocked with skillets, pans, cookie sheets, etc. We aren't coffee drinkers but there were multiple coffee pots, sweeteners and creamers. The only thing we wish we had was more seasonings (garlic salt, etc) to use for our meals but that's on us. The lakefront is beautiful. We spent hours in the lounge chairs at the water's edge reading a book and enjoying the peace. Every evening multiple deer would walk into the front yard to hang out and we were entertained by ducks and geese the entire time. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return!

This is not our first time to stay at the Lazy Possum and it definitely won't be our last. Steps away from the lake, all things you need or want come with this cottage. We love late nights just sitting, relaxing on the screened in back porch as well as having coffee in the mornings there too. House is comfy, cozy and just perfect for my husband and myself, we love it!

Perfect for our summer vacation. Lake was about 95% full so there was plenty of sand for the kids to play in. Water depth was a gradual, gentle slope. For a 6ft individual had to go out quite far to get chest deep. Again, perfect for me and my family. The house appears to have been remodeled recently and was beautiful and well-kept. Everything was not as described- it was more! We really enjoyed the enclosed patio with a great lake view. We met one of the neighbors who was quite pleasant. Others in the area were friendly as well. It seemed to be a quiet area, no unreasonable or excessive noise. Courtney was excellent in her communications with us. She provided so much more than was required. The small details, such as having snacks and everything necessary for coffee were above and beyond. Same goes for the beach toys for the kids and tubes for adults. Truly a great property and host, as well as location! If we go back to PK next year we will stay here. Well done Courtney!

Cottage is very well equipped from the kitchen clear up to the patio and fire pit. We had a great time. We are looking forward to renting this place again. The owner was very nice. She was also very resourceful for recommendation places to eat. We highly recommend this location.

the house is excellent and clean, they had a boat dock that we could use it was a bit of a walk but it was nice not to have to load the boat everyday, the host was very easy to work with we received answers within minutes of texting, overall very nice.
