The hotel was in the midst of remodeling so all could not be as positive as previous stays. Because of this we had a second floor room which was a problem carrying suitcases up and down stairs but things like that will happen. The staff did all they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Was not made aware of the remodeling when reserved my room. The first room they sent me to was dirty. Beds weren't made. So went to another room. It was clean but had a hatd time with key cards to work. When returning later that evening again key cards would not work. Had to go back to front desk for new cards. Would not stay here again. The whole first floor was being remodeled. So you had to stay on 2nd floor. They should have let me know about the remodeling and i could have decided if i wanted to book there or not. I was in town for a college graduation so it wasn't a good thing.

This hotel is definitely furnished, maintained etc on the cheap. The area around outside seating area was loaded with cigarette butts. The outside entrance didn’t work with our key. Had to use a rock to keep door open for taking luggage in/out. Foundation of bed was made of metal so if u happened to bump it it was very loud!!! Dog barking across the hall was disturbing us and our dog! No info in room about nearby restaurants or attractions. We would not stay here again.

What a great surprise! Very clean. Quiet. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Older but well maintained. Nice large outdoor deck. Plenty of parking. Could use a bigger tv in room but really a great value.

In town for a funeral. The hotel was a mess and under construction/renovation. It should not have been opened to paying guests. Dust everywhere. Terrible

I ordered A king size room from Expedia. When I arrived the room looked great. However within minutes a very loud compressor noise went off. I asked for a different room. They could only give a less expensive and smaller double room. It turns out they knew about the noise as a problem and rented the king size room anyways. They would not refund the difference in cost to go to a double bed room stating it’s was booked on Expedia. I wondered how many travelers get this form of bait and switch. It’s only $20 and I won’t go through the time to get a refund from Expedia as I doubt it will happen. So buyer beware. Ask if the one room they have as a king bed suite has a sprinkler generator go off randomly. If so do not book it. Also the property had dehumidifiers everywhere on the bottom floor and looks like there is a water issue.

The 1st room we were assigned was dirty. Towels in the tub, trash, bed unmade. He moved us and kept saying, "It is quiet here". In our new room I found our hand towel had makeup on it. I do not wear makeup and we had not used the towel yet. Sheets were clean. Bed was very squeaky but comfortable. We could hear people walking upstairs and talking in the lobby very early in the morning. Also the faucet in the sink did not work properly. 😕 Very sad because we pass through here every 2 or 3 months and this would have been a very convenient stop. No way though. I felt like I had been lied to and do not trust the cleanliness or safety of this place.

Our room was clean. However the hair dryer had something nasty all over it. The room door was difficult to open due to the fact that the batteries were hanging out. The toilet didn’t work properly. The towels were dirty. The employee at the desk was very friendly. It’s in a safe location with easy in and out.

It’s an inexpensive hotel - so I understand that it will not be a luxury hotel. However the comforter was filthy with what looked like bodily fluid stains. The hallways had chunks of dry dirt throughout the building. The shower bar was falling out of the wall. BUT it was freshly painted, easy to find and served it’s purpose.

I will say the staff themselves were very kind - but the room was gross. We found cockroaches in and on the microwave. My bed had crumbs in it, the toilet wasn’t secured to the floor and very dirty, the sink leaked and splashed EVERWHERE, we checked out early and got another hotel 30 minutes away in Paducah (worth the drive after not sleeping and feeling like I had bugs crawling on me) I would LOVE a refund. Super disappointing after driving 6.5 hours to visit family.

Rooms were recently renovated and clean. Lack of details are everywhere. i.e. missing light bulb in lamp, no aerator on the bathroom faucet (yeah, got wet when trying to wash my hands), TV remote didn't work correctly. Worst part of the experience was that the worker/owner/manager (whatever his position), was very nice and respectful. BUT, double charged me for having a pet. (Took $10 from my security deposit, PLUS charged me $10). Not worth calling him to discuss. Overall, we will stay here again, because the property was so clean and it is convenient to family.

We got the room for a great price and would stay there again for that rate. But there were a few issues with the room - they have really weird blinds that weren't capable of completely blocking off the window, the bed squeaked a lot, the lock on the door did not work well even after the battery was changed, our shower had two bottles of body wash and no shampoo, and breakfast was very sparse. Cleaning staff also tried to enter our room 2 hours prior to checkout (there was no do not distrub door hanger for use). It had been remodeled, so nice flooring and nice bathroom fixtures.

Blanket on bed had a burn mark in it. TV wouldnt turn off with remote. Three lights in the room and two had blown bulbs. Hot water in shower was barely existing. Ac and heat didnt work properly. Scratched paint on the walls. And continental breakfast was a tiny waffle or cereal.

Reserved room online but when I checked in the credit card was declined in spite of the clerk entering the data twice. When called my bank, the reason for the decline was because the clerk did not enter the correct expiration date; he had the card in his hand when he was checking me in. Stayed 4 nights/3 days; 1st night, no remote in my room; 1st day my room wasn't cleaned, 2nd day no washclothes or hand towels, 3rd great job!! Overall great room - good bed, clean, no bugs, good clean smell to the room; bathroom spotless!

I was a little upset at walkin only because I didn't know anything about a holding fee(deposit) BUT the staff made it right and was very helpful. The beds were comfy but the pillows were flat. Convenient, clean and quiet. Good hotel for short stays.

This property was clean and well maintained. The stay i had was fine and the staff was super nice and polite. The room was nice. The only thing is it had coffee cups, but no coffee pit. Which at the end of the day wasnt a big deal. Would definitely stay again next time im in the area. I did not eat the breakfeast offered and that was nothing to do with the staff or what was served, but it did look like a good breakfeast for those who are wondering. There was cereal options, fruite, yogurt, and biscuits and gravy.

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Hot tub leaked all over the floor and made it dangerous to walk around. Bed was comfortable and clean. General condition of the hotel was run down. Breakfast was minimum.

We brought our unworking clock to the front desk and they could not replace it. Large dead bug in the room on the floor. Then there were no hair dryers. The breakfast food had 2 pieces of egg, the OJ machine was not turned on, they only put out enough for a couple of people. It was truly sad and we would NEVER stay there again. Sorry.

It was clean, but old. My room was on the front side of the building, and I could hear everyone leaving in the morning. My blanket on the bed had a cigarette burn in it. I didn't get a washcloth the second day. When I got to breakfast at 8am on the second day, it was all gone except for cereal.
