Owners were on site and extremely accommodating to our family. The included breakfast was very good. The location is very convenient to area features like Pennyrile State Park and Beach. Also a great water park 5 minutes away. The only disappointment was the pool not yet open.

We came to Hopkinsville to pick supplies up for our equipment shed, we lived anbout 4.5 hours away and found this hotel online. We decided to book it through Expedia because it stated it was a new hotel and there was a pool. However, the pool was not in operation and the premises was not new as far as we could see. It had possibly been remodeled but not recently new. We were wanting to go swimming so that was a disappointment. The mattress on our bed was firm and not cushioned like other beds that we have enjoyed at other hotels. The staff were very nice and kind.

The rooms were nice; they had obviously recently been upgraded. But there were some weird things, for example, new bathroom fixtures had been put in, but the holes in the countertop from the old fixtures had not been covered! Staff was terrible! The woman that checked us in was very nice, but she was incompetent. We had a pet with us, and our reservation indicated that, but the staff had no idea what the procedure was. It was literally 30 minutes with my husband, 11-year-old and cat waiting in the car. Then the pool was closed, and the pool was the primary reason we chose the hotel!!! Breakfast was good. Bed was comfy. Pillows weren't.

When we arrived the pool was closed, waiting for inspection and therefore we couldn’t swim the whole time we were there!! Also there was issues with the television!! There were certain channels that would come through and some would not!! Some would go from showing normal to fizzling the whole time to also freezing up!! The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly!!! If I had know there was no pool I would not have booked the room!! It was too late to cancel!!

Check in went ok, yes the rooms have been updated however you can still tell it’s a very old hotel, I wasn’t happy with finding a roach on the room door as I closed it, breakfast wasn’t all that good, which it wasn’t even ready at 6:45 so I grabbed a bowl of cereal, Elevator smelled like dog and the third hallway smelled really bad..

My room was supposed to have a bath tub. When I asked about it I was told she just gave that room away. I booked that room for the tub. I'm disabled and can't stand in showers that well. I had to cut my trip short due to slipping in the shower and hurting my back. We were t told the pool was closed. The elevator is kinda sketchy. They are remolding the hotel and our room was nice except the no tub part. The staff was nice tho.

Overall a pretty good experience. It's a good hotel and a decent place to stop for the night. Facility was clean. My only knock off was that there's only two luggage carts in the entire facility and a couple of the patients kept them in the rooms so if you have a decent bit of luggage you need to haul up it's a crapshoot as the weather or not you're going to get a cart. Other than that it was perfect

Upon entering the room I noticed there was feces on the toilet seat. Absolutely unacceptable but I went down and told the owner and showed him a picture. Instead of taking care of it right away he said house keeping would clean it in the morning. Well after I got back to my room the next day the bed was made but the toilet still was not cleaned, leading me to believe that they do not clean the bathrooms. I went back down and talked to the Owner and he said I was Lucky because Hotels normally don’t clean everyday which I replied they do in between guests which he scoffed at. I then said it’s clear he doesn’t care and that set him off and he told me that I’m free to leave. There was also a trash can in the hallway that smelled awful that was not emptied for two days until I mentioned it. Stay away from this place. It’s absolutely disgusting and the owner will not care about you or the cleanliness of your room as long as he gets your money.

Had a hot breakfast every morning which is a must have for me when I'm traveling. Room/bath was clean and loved the laminate flooring, so much nicer than carpets. Quiet stay and the lady at the front desk while I was there during the mornings, 5/25/25 to 5/28/25 was EXCELLENT!!

Stopped for the night on the way down to FL. The lady checking us in (works as a teacher during the day) was so great! So friendly and helpful. I want to point that out because my next comment has nothing to do with her. The room was eh. We have a toddler and a 1 year old. There was chunks of something sticky on the floor. Crumbs of cheese crackers under the table with the phone. So had to clean to make sure the baby didn’t eat that stuff. The bathroom had hair in the sink and shower. The toilet wouldn’t stop running so my husband did have to fix it any time it was flushed. The pillows definitely needed to be replaced. Extremely bumpy and flat. I don’t expect much for the cost but a clean room should be expected.

Bed was good, breakfast didn’t have many choices, staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was musty and smelled like very strong perfume. It was close to the house of family that we were visiting. The blinds didn’t work in our window. Someone had broken them so they were up all the time. I did share this information with the front desk.

My first arrived to the location I was greeted the atmosphere smelled really nice way me and my husband walked in. The lady informed me because I had my puppy with me that I would have to pay a pet fee. I told her no problem so I proceeded to pay and she told me it would be $35 but she said she wasn’t able to do it for whatever reason and I could do it in the morning to check out. At about 8:45 I received a call I’m assuming from the young lady at the front desk did I need to pay the $35 now. Before she called I noticed that my card had tried to be run three times but I keep my credit cards on lock until I’m using them. I explained her that young lady told me yesterday that she wasn’t able to do it and I could do it when I checked out she said that was fine. About 15 minutes later someone else cause my phone asked me my name and I need to come downstairs and pay the pet fee. I told her that I would do it at checkout, but this time is like 9:15 in the morning and we check out at 11. She said the young lady who told me I could pay a check out on today was not the manager and she was the manager and and I need to come pay now. I understand I had to pay the $35 pet fee but it’s not what she said it’s how she was saying it. She was literally yelling in my ear so when I told her I would come down and pay a check out cause it was actually in the process of getting a check out early and head back home. She hung up in my face, very rude and very unprofessional.

When we went to use our cards they didn’t work so we had to go back to the front desk. Finally once we got to our floor it was at least 80+ degrees up there. We got into the room and it was no better. There was no air on and the toilet seat was closed. When I opened it there were bugs inside of it and it looked like it had not been cleaned. The air only pushed out of one side so the room never got very cool. When we asked we were informed only one AC unit was working and was unable to keep the 3rd level cool. We were told they would come look at our unit but they never did. It was unbelievably hot on the 3rd level. Then our second night we returned late from a wedding and our key cards didn’t work yet again . If you plan to stay here make sure the air is working. Not work the $221 we paid for 2 nights.

The rooms were nice; they had obviously recently been upgraded. But there were some weird things, for example, new bathroom fixtures had been put in, but the holes in the countertop from the old fixtures had not been covered! Staff was terrible! The woman that checked us in was very nice, but she was incompetent. We had a pet with us, and our reservation indicated that, but the staff had no idea what the procedure was. It was literally 30 minutes with my husband, 11-year-old and cat waiting in the car. Then the pool was closed, and the pool was the primary reason we chose the hotel!!! Breakfast was good. Bed was comfy. Pillows weren't.

The hotel is undergoing a renovation. Our room was newly renovated and very nice. The staff was wonderful, kind, helpful, and quick to assist. The staff made the stay an extreemly good one.

Bed was good, breakfast didn’t have many choices, staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was musty and smelled like very strong perfume. It was close to the house of family that we were visiting. The blinds didn’t work in our window. Someone had broken them so they were up all the time. I did share this information with the front desk.

The staff was very friendly, suggested a few places to eat, the room was very clean. Loved not having carpet!!! Breakfast was delicious. Being right of the main road is helpful but it was very noisy. That would be the only down fall.

Had a hot breakfast every morning which is a must have for me when I'm traveling. Room/bath was clean and loved the laminate flooring, so much nicer than carpets. Quiet stay and the lady at the front desk while I was there during the mornings, 5/25/25 to 5/28/25 was EXCELLENT!!

Check in went ok, yes the rooms have been updated however you can still tell it’s a very old hotel, I wasn’t happy with finding a roach on the room door as I closed it, breakfast wasn’t all that good, which it wasn’t even ready at 6:45 so I grabbed a bowl of cereal, Elevator smelled like dog and the third hallway smelled really bad..

Rooms are NOT cleaned well. We walked in to urine on the toilet seats, poop marks in toilet bowel, brown mark on hanging! hand towel & hair in shower. Also pillow case had stains. They advertise as "newly remodeled rooms" but they do not clean them. We had to change rooms & the 2nd was just as bad as the first. Can't trust reviews anymore. This one had good reviews & that's why we booked.
