I stayed at this hotel last year and returned again. Exactly what I expected for the price range. The hotel is in a convenient and safe location. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. Room was as expected. Nice amenities. A nice grab and go breakfast is a plus. I would recommend the establishment as a no frills basic stay.

9:10 pm The TV blared in the lobby at our entrance, and there was a dryer in hallway close to the door of our room that made a lot of noise because of a tool belt being dried. 1am noise in the hallway by our room that didn’t stop for 20 minutes, when I turned on the light in my room so I could call the front desk.

Lobby smelled like smoke and cooked food. No elevator. People who stayed there in room next to us cooking Thai food in room strong smell of food made me ill. Will not stay there again. Paid extra for early check in and room was not ready.

Rooms were dirty. Bathroom was nasty with hair all over and the walls looked like they had not been cleaned in years. The next room over from us found cockroaches. We checked out after one night. Staff was not in any hurry to do anything including getting us checked in or out. Will not stay there ever again.

After seeing the property and the smell of must and seeing mold we cancelled our reservation. The outside might be updated if that is what you call but nothing else is. We cancelled our reservation and stayed at the Hamption Inn in Mayesville, Ky and it was wonderful! We actually stayed a total of 8 nights there and paid more per night but it was well worth it and can't say enough good things about the Hampton. I would not recoomend the Super 8 for anyone.

Rooms were filled with 10+ stink bugs Room floors were very dirty and sticky, look at the towel. Also turning on the heat on the window unit filled room with smoke and caused fire alarm to go off. Service great, though rooms are bottom tier. Cheap though.

The whole stay was poor. Wont stay there Again. Building is in need of repair. Rooms are in poor shape. Dirty rooms. Windows are dirty enough that you really can't see out of them. Same with tv screen. Hallway stunk. It smelled like the trash by the ice machine hadn't been dumped in a year. There was a poopy diaper or Dog poop in it. And the grassy area out side was covered with dog poop . The live in residents have smoking rooms and the hallway smells of cigarette smoke. And the extra smokers of Weed. That smell was in the air. So we wont be staying there again.

I have always trusted Hotels.com ratings and am happy with anything about a 7. But not this time, though perhaps still the best cost/property in town. Not terribly clean or well kept, and the TV didn't work at all.

There wasnt a remote control in the room for the TV. I ask for another one and none would work so the worker told me to go biy one so i had to go buy a remote for the TV. Someones dog was barking non stop and baby crying constantly. Very disturbing

For a smoke free facility the furst thing that smacks you in the face when you walk in the lobby is the strong smoke smell. It was slightly less in the room but still there. A little unorganized. First two rooms we were assigned were occupied. They are trying to do some renovations. The paint and some of the furniture looked newer. They were in the process of refacing the outside

The room was clean other time behind the bathroom door (don’t forget of clean there) Breakfast was terrible! There must be some long term people living there. Tv blaring and two kids running around unsupervised who ate breakfast with their phones on full blast. Not the hotels fault but it speaks for the type of long term rentals

Friendly staff. Nice breakfast options. Only chair in the room was at the desk No corner chair under the reading lamp. Our friends room was missing the chair as well. Floors were dirty. Walked without socks from bed to bathroom and feet were black. You get what you pay for
