The Village is a convenient hotel with good facilities such as the leisure suite. As a chain it suffers from chain food options and the bar/restaurant area was a bit chilly and very noisy with sports tv and a dj on so not exactly relaxing. Would be better to have a separate area to dine away from the bar. Room was comfortable and spacious. Overall not a bad stay for the price.

Nice hotel with comfortable bed and spacious rooms. Two things which could be improved firstly there is a £5 per night parking charge which I can understand if you're in a City centre but there is nothing around this hotel it's on an industrial estate. Secondly the self check in is such an unnecessary process. It's not user friendly and takes ages after a long drive is something you could do without. However all the staff I spoke to were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, standard buffet similar to most chain hotels with adequate choice. Evening meal menu was also good with plenty of choice at reasonable prices. I would stay again but please sort the check in process.

Hotel 1*, Leisure Club 5* - only because the leisure club was not available on arrival day, it cannot be considered in this review. Due to a pre-planned power cut all Sunday, check-in was only possible from 6pm, with no leisure club nor bar/restaurant available all evening. Having to go to work early on Mon morning, there was only very limited time to enjoy the pool then; however, I had purchased a club room supplement exactly because of the leisure facilities, yet no apologies other than an email and a piece of paper to advise of the hotel's all-day closure were offered, not even the club room supplement was refunded. In fact, this date should have NEVER been available to book on Expedia, and if it wasn't for the convenient location in proximity to the White Rose business park, I would have cancelled my booking altogether. We have now decided not to return to this hotel, due to its level of standards having dropped considerably over the last few years, which is really a shame, but we will stay somewhere else rather, even if it is slightly further away from the office and does not offer the same leisure facilities.

We usually stay in the village hotels in Liverpool and Chester but we decided to use the Leeds one . We arrived late due to family commitments and was given our room key . We entered our room The bed wasn’t made and when I looked there was blood all over the sheets and duvet cover . There was a blood trail from the bed into the bathroom too . I called the manager who came and changed our room as well as take pictures of the room state . I’ve contacted village hotels via email since to complain and see if there was anything they could help with or offer us . Was told I’d have a response in 48 hours that was 4 weeks ago! Leeds facility is supposed to be one of the better village hotels . But for us it was the worst .

The room was spacious and clean. We did have to ask for a chair in the room. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The rooms are quiet which is fortunate as we were there on a Christmas party night! Breakfast was fine, the usual help yourself offering. Check in was with a machine however there were two ladies to help. Having human contact is so much better! Great location for Morley and Elland Rd stadium and just off the motorway. It’s worth a stay if you want to be close to the stadium.

I was very disappointed to realise late at night there was no complementary water in my room. Also, I found sticky deposits on one of my pillows, like some sort of confectionery sweet residue. Not pleasant when your face sticks to the pillow! Also, the toilet rim was not clean. I found the bedroom furniture very tired and damaged. Quite shabby really.

Nice and easy to find this hotel with loads of parking spaces. The check in is so easy here, numberous tablets and a staff member on standby the help. I checked in late and this was no problem at all. The room was lovely, really comfy bed with different firmness of pillow options. Spacious enough for a chair, a desk and a wardrobe. The lighting was great with many different options. The bathroom had a bath and a powerful rainfall head shower and was also pretty spacious. The self serve breakfast was nice with different options. Check-out was a simple as the check-in. Overall, a great stay and would happily stay here again.

Great hotel with brilliant facilities! Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a red hot week and the AC didn’t work in my room so it was very hot. Fans not available. Room was well decorated but needed some TLC and maintenance- I can imagine that due to great facilities and service that the hotel is often full with little time to decorate etc Food portions great - kids meals were massive Strange to pay for parking when you are essentially on a service park where parking wouldn’t be abused due to location?

Staff very friendly and helpful. Kevin the bar and grill manager was excellent. Looked after us very well even though he was short staffed and doing so much, including serving, cleaning tables, bar work, sorting out an event. Food good in bar and grill. Reception staff lovely and helpful. Room okay, Very dark - too dark to see into wardrobe. Two sets of light - by door and by kettle not working. Pillows rock hard and led to disturbed sleep as they caused neck ache. Door to bathroom wouldn’t close. Bedside table taken with the kettle and cup tray - used to be on separate table. Hotel good as stated many times over the years but rooms need improving.

The staff in the lobby were really welcoming and friendly and helped the check-in process go smoothly. As it was a really hot day, they were offering free mini ice creams in a cone which was a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was air-con as well as a blackout blind, meaning we had a really comfortable sleep.

I booked 2 rooms. I am a regular user of Village Hotels and a Gym member. I called to advise we would check-in late. We arrived around 11:30pm to check-in. We were not tole that one room was a disabled room. This is not convenient for tall able bodied people. Also, as a couple there was only one set of towels! Next morning we were leaving early and headed to the Starbucks to find its closed for 3 weeks, again, we were nit advised at time of booking. Booming 2 rooms at full rate and then getting what we did is so disappointing! I expect a full refund for at least the one room as this was not as expected!

When we arrived no one was at the desk when we got closer it was a self checkin when I started the receptionist came out and greeted us then she helped with the rest. When we were going into the dining area we had to wait for staff to approach us to be given us a table there were 3 people at the bar who looks like arguing amongst themselves who is going to come and get us the table. Young lady only came over when she saw another family who was behind us she didn’t apologise for the wait but she did to the other family, the young people behind the bar were not that friendly but the guy who bought us the meal seemed to be a very nice guy he was friendly. Checking out was easy was met by a nice receptionist who greeted us. Overall was a nice hotel very comfortable bed.

We got stuck in the car park because of snow but the staff at the hotel were really helpful. They dug us out and pushed us out of the snow. They told us the safest easy to get back onto the motorway. We enjoyed our stay and used the gym and ate in the restaurant . All was very good.

Warm welcome by the staff although I found the self check in machines a bit fussy. Room was spacious and clean and was well sound proofed as I heard no external noise or noise from other rooms. Tea and coffee making in the room also. We ate at the Grill restaurant and their was a decent choice of food at a reasonable price. There is also a starbucks on site It arrived quickly and was hot and tasty. Didn't use the gym but it looked well equipped, the pool was excellent and of a good size. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. As we stayed at the weekend the parking was free however I think it will be chargeable during the week, better checking befoer you arrive

All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. As we stayed at the weekend the parking was free however I think it will be chargeable during the week, better checking befoer you arrive

Stayed for a business trip and as the check-in and check-out is fully automated there is nowhere to get a paper receipt. I completed the check-out process correctly and entered contact details correctly but still no receipt 1 week after my stay. I have contacted the hotel but no response. Lovely hotel but that personal touch seems to have been forgotten.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Kevin the bar and grill manager was excellent. Looked after us very well even though he was short staffed and doing so much, including serving, cleaning tables, bar work, sorting out an event. Food good in bar and grill. Reception staff lovely and helpful. Room okay, Very dark - too dark to see into wardrobe. Two sets of light - by door and by kettle not working. Pillows rock hard and led to disturbed sleep as they caused neck ache. Door to bathroom wouldn’t close. Bedside table taken with the kettle and cup tray - used to be on separate table. Hotel good as stated many times over the years but rooms need improving.

Hotel 1*, Leisure Club 5* - only because the leisure club was not available on arrival day, it cannot be considered in this review. Due to a pre-planned power cut all Sunday, check-in was only possible from 6pm, with no leisure club nor bar/restaurant available all evening. Having to go to work early on Mon morning, there was only very limited time to enjoy the pool then; however, I had purchased a club room supplement exactly because of the leisure facilities, yet no apologies other than an email and a piece of paper to advise of the hotel's all-day closure were offered, not even the club room supplement was refunded. In fact, this date should have NEVER been available to book on Expedia, and if it wasn't for the convenient location in proximity to the White Rose business park, I would have cancelled my booking altogether. We have now decided not to return to this hotel, due to its level of standards having dropped considerably over the last few years, which is really a shame, but we will stay somewhere else rather, even if it is slightly further away from the office and does not offer the same leisure facilities.

The room was spacious and clean. We did have to ask for a chair in the room. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The rooms are quiet which is fortunate as we were there on a Christmas party night! Breakfast was fine, the usual help yourself offering. Check in was with a machine however there were two ladies to help. Having human contact is so much better! Great location for Morley and Elland Rd stadium and just off the motorway. It’s worth a stay if you want to be close to the stadium.

Spacious comfortable room. Reasonably good breakfast and good gym facilities but both at extra cost. Handy having a Starbucks onsite too. Attentive hosts in meeting areas too. Easy to get to from motorways etc but not particularly city centre.

The Village is a convenient hotel with good facilities such as the leisure suite. As a chain it suffers from chain food options and the bar/restaurant area was a bit chilly and very noisy with sports tv and a dj on so not exactly relaxing. Would be better to have a separate area to dine away from the bar. Room was comfortable and spacious. Overall not a bad stay for the price.

Nice hotel with comfortable bed and spacious rooms. Two things which could be improved firstly there is a £5 per night parking charge which I can understand if you're in a City centre but there is nothing around this hotel it's on an industrial estate. Secondly the self check in is such an unnecessary process. It's not user friendly and takes ages after a long drive is something you could do without. However all the staff I spoke to were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, standard buffet similar to most chain hotels with adequate choice. Evening meal menu was also good with plenty of choice at reasonable prices. I would stay again but please sort the check in process.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, the staff are very lovely and welcoming especially the reception staff. My only downfalls are there is no bottled drinking water in the rooms, room service ends at 10pm and no local shops, there is no vegan options on the dining menu. Other then that the stay was good and I had a nice time in the spa

Property was great from start to finish! Check in was easy, room was suitable for us although we did have 3 In a room and the 3rd person bed was a matress on the floor! It was comfortable so I can’t complain but not ideal with my back. Restaurant was great for breakfast, had the usual wants for a breakfast! Staff were good in there aswell! Check out easy - ample parking and ample blue badge parking!

We booked in hotel staff where fantastic I had car issue and they where supportive my mum has mobility issues and again supportive with the shower and bed from gym to house keeping and resption staff and restaurant staff again amazing and even swimming staff helped my mum for swimming amazing night thank you
