We picked the ocean view with balcony and it was delightful. Option for breakfast was good enough to start the day with fresh pastries and crepes and much more as a complete continental breakfast enjoyed with ocean view. Night time hs an open roof top with drinks and DJ available on some nights and great view of the city and sunset or even the high tide.

This was such a nice hotel and we were very happy with our stay. The rooms have amazing views and the staff were extremely accommodating in making sure we had enough space for our two young daughters. Would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay, with a few caveats. The rooms are really small so unless you have a sea view i don't know if I would stay here. It was tough for 2 people and luggage to navigate within the room, but the view and balcony looking onto the ocean was worth it! The restaurant was great, the bed great. We did have a clogged shower when we came in an almost flooded the bathroom but management had it fixed by end of day. The rooms could use a refresh, especially the carpet. The location is great, easy to walk to the walled town of St. Malo. So more plusses than minuses but just things to know before you book.

If you’re looking for chic & boutique then look elsewhere. The hotel is a handsome property ideally situated next to the beach and close to town, but the interior lets it down. The leopard print carpets and grey walls of the common areas give off brothel vibes and the room was tiny, tired and lacking basic amenities- no fridge, no kettle, no bedside table, little in the way of toiletries. The bathroom was so small that that the WC was almost inside the shower and the towels were supermarket quality - thin and small. The furniture was heavy, dark and battered. It’s really the opposite of chic. Staff are very friendly but, really, they need to spend some money on their hotel rooms and common areas. I’d give this a miss unless you are fond of dated 2* hotels of old. I’m not.
