Atlas Essaouira Riad Resort

Très grande (IMMENSE) structure, face à la plage, à 1km de la médina, c'était PARFAIT beaucoup de positif mais l'impression que cet hôtel est sur-capacitaire, peut-être à cause de la période où nous avons été (fin aout): parfois on était seuls à la piscine immense et ça faisait vraiment vide et manquait de vie.. à améliorer : un peu plus d'animation surtout autour de la piscine pour les enfants (la mienne s'est ennuyée clairement) salle de sport trop vielle voire "dépassée" et incomplète pour (j'ai choisi cet hôtel pour cette sport d'ailleurs, du coup j'ai été très déçu) frigo dans la chambre trop vieux (ou ne marche pas bien, ce qui est dommage !) sinon, tout le reste est ok.

Good location. Taxi ride to Medina 7DH or easy walk of about 15 min. Beach opposite the hotel. Easy walk to restaurants. Parking was on the street & we did ask if we could park inside the boom gate and told no, park on the street. We had a burger & club sandwich from bar- they were good and reasonably priced for a hotel. Breakfast is ok - not many options. The pool was nice but the pool bar was not open when we visited. The staff - not friendly, not rude - just ‘there’. The lady at the omelette station was probably the only one with a smile.

Etwas mehr Auswahl beim Frühstück wäre wünschenswert. Für 1-2 Nächte trotzdem gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in Altstadtnähe.

The Atlas Riad Essaouira is a beautifully designed hotel with an excellent location. The lobby area is warm and welcoming, creating a great first impression. However, when I arrived early, I had to wait at the bar, which unfortunately wasn’t serving any soft drinks. As a tired and thirsty traveler, it would be great if the bar or coffee area could be open for early arrivals to offer refreshments while waiting for the room to be ready. Fortunately, the reception staff were accommodating and managed to prepare our room by 1 pm, which was much appreciated. Our room had a lovely and impressive sea view, but it was somewhat outdated and did not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel as advertised. For example, the room lacked basic amenities like an iron, which is typically expected in 5-star accommodations. Additionally, the sink in the bathroom did not drain properly, requiring manual adjustment to prevent overflow. Despite calling reception three times, it took some persistence before someone finally came to assist. The WiFi on the third floor was also quite poor, which was a bit frustrating. On a positive note, the swimming pool was delightful, although the bar service there could be improved. The waiter was unable to recommend any cocktails, leaving me to choose one at random. Overall, while the hotel facilities are decent, there is a need for significant improvements in customer service and attention to detail to truly meet the expectations of a 5-star rating. I think its important to note that this hotel has a five star rating. When you have this rating i think its fair to be critical of things that i would otherwise not comment on. Cons: the pool needed a clean (there was green slime on some of the walls. Some of the matress beds by the pool were covered in bird poo for days on end. Somebody left a plate and coffee mug at the pool bar and it stayed there for days showing nobody was walking round and checking at the pool. A few of the complimentary soaps and shampoos in the shower were empty when we got there, when i asked at reception for them to be refilled they filled it with a very small amount, im guessing they are afraid of guests in a 5* hotel stealing moisturiser which is fine but it leaves a bit.of.a sour taste in my mouth to be treated like a criminal. The tv in the room didnt work as it hadnt been tuned. Pro: pool was nice tempature and gets the sun pretty much all day. the staff were great and attentive and helpful and spoke many languages (in particular a porter from senegal whos name i didnt catch was amazing). It has a bar with football on and they have music there too. The room was clean and spacious.

Waterfront hotel with sea view, including from breakfast patio. Private section on the beach has towels, chairs. Nice pool but very windy. Very confusing layout of room numbers. Got lost twice because odd numbered and even numbered rooms are in different wings, but directions on signs are ranges. Spa drove me crazy - said would accept dollars and then refused a $20 bill because it was "too old."

Zimmer brauchen eine Aufrischung, nicht unbedingt sauber (Alles klebt, jedoch ist dies z.Teil auf das feuchte Ozeanklima zurückzuführen),Ausläufe in Badewanne und Lavabo verstopft, Haken and der Badezimmertür nicht befestigt, Frühstücksbuffet für ein 5* -Hotel ziemlich karg...Die tolle Lage, der wunderschöne Pool und vor Allem das gesamte Personal konnten das teilweise auffangen.

Nice Hotel. Good room with excellent sea view. The shower was broken when we arrived, and the reception organised this to be fixed the same day. However it continued to leak and cause issues with the bathroom floor. The bathroom door was already bowed as it had been exposed to the water from previous leaks, which we realised when we arrived. Semi responsive staff. When we arrived there was not much customer care and we were left to our own devices to find the amenities. The reception staff just told us what time breakfast was and our room number, and we were left to find this. Room cleaning would not happen in a timely manner and we would leave and come back in the afternoon after our daily excursions, only to find our room was not clean despite the sign asking for this to be done, being clearly displayed on the door handle as is expected. I opted for a massage on our last day, which was nice (first half), someone walked in during the second half when I was semi naked laying on my back. My eyes were semi covered, so i did not see if it was staff or a customer, but assume it was the latter as the masseur Hadijah, ushered them out in silence. The person sounded like a child and when finished, I noted there were two male children walking the spa halls looking for Hadijah to ask her something. I did not mention this to staff, as I could not confirm, but wanted to note in the review as privacy policies and adherance to dignity practices should be paramount for this service.

Já fico neste hotel há mais de 20 anos. Parece que está parado no tempo e não houve melhorias. As áreas comuns estão em bom estado mas quando se chega ao quarto, já não é bem assim. Tinha coisas sujas, toalhas velhas e desfiadas. A insonorização era péssima e estive a ouvir barulho da rua toda a noite e até estava no segundo piso. A camas e as almofadas eram confortáveis. No pequeno almoço faltava leite e tive de pedir 2 vezes. Num hotel de 5 estrelas há coisas que não podem acontecer.

Hotellet er stort, god plass. Hotellet virker utslitt, trenger oppgradering. Rengjøring etterlater vann i skapet. Tv står skjevt og skapet virker slitt . Ingen egnet strøm til kaffekoker. Måtte legge det på gulvet.Lytt. Lite utvalg av frokostbuffe.

La propreté et le calme

Everything was good except the room wasn't to the 5* standard. The bathroom needs renovation as tiles were cracked open water leakage and bent bath tub.

Pros: Excellent location, great parking, good breakfast (not 5* though), nice staff, beautiful lobby and garden Cons: the room was very dirty, we got upgraded to a Deluxe room which was old and dirty

Dit hotel verdient absoluut geen 5 sterren. Alles is zwaar verouderd en dringend toe aan renovatie. Houtlarven in de douche, roest in de badkamer, een verstopte wastafel en een kapotte airco. Twee nachten verschrikkelijk geslapen. Ondanks melding bij de receptie is er niets opgelost. Kamers werden niet schoongemaakt. Veel te hoge prijs voor deze erbarmelijke kwaliteit. Absoluut geen aanrader!

The rooms are very outdated. The AC was not working, we asked them to come to fix it and nothing was done. The breakfast is very basic. The gym is one of the worst gym I’ve seen in a hotel. And the service is pretty bad. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is nice, but I had a disappointing experience. I had 3 rooms, 2 of which had a broken AC. I called the front Desk 5 times and every time they told me they would send someone. I wasted hours waiting on this technician and finally gave up. My kids couldn’t sleep because of the heat.

No air conditioning throughout the hotel nor did the fans in the rooms work. Was not informed of this at check in and was told ‘that is how things work in Morocco during the winter’ on March 31. Had to book another hotel due to medical condition and walk a mile down the street for acceptable accommodations.

Nous sommes restés 3 nuits au Atlas et la climatisation n'était pas fonctionnelle dans notre chambre. Nous avons avisé la réception après la première nuit et 2 autres fois par la suite et chaque fois on nous disait que ce serait réglé, mais ça n'a jamais été le cas. Nous avons dû ouvrir les fenêtres pour tempérer la chambre pour les 2 dernières nuits.

대서양 뷰룸으로 배정받아 너무 만족스러웠습니다. 방에서 바라보는 탁 트인 바다 전망이 정말 멋졌고, 특히 일몰 시간에는 하늘과 바다가 황금빛으로 물드는 광경을 보며 하루를 마무리하는 순간이 정말 특별했습니다. 방도 깔끔하고 아늑해서 편안하게 머물 수 있었고, 덕분에 여행이 더 여유롭고 행복하게 느껴졌습니다. 일몰을 좋아하시는 분들에게 강력히 추천하고 싶은 숙소입니다.

Check in was fine. Nothing special, very to the point and no questions or anything. In the middle of the night, the room above us sounded like they were moving furniture. We tried to call the front desk but the phone wouldn’t connect. My husband then went in the middle of the night to the front desk to tell them, but it didn’t stop and was still going on in the morning

The property was amazing for holidays, available with a sea view room unique. The personal was very kind and always at disposal for clients request. The breakfast was well prepared and diversified. Special mention for the doorway entrance Mr DIOUF, always welcoming and smiling. Thank you for everything, we endorse this hotel.

Very poor front reception not night staff Had problems with AC at night told us he’s going to send someone to address the problem no one showed up. Until check out. Asked to speak to manager were told he’s coming at 10AM so we waited. Went there were told he’s in a meeting. So no regard for customers. Very ignorant

Beautiful Hotel just right in front of the beach. The place, staff, and amenities were all good. The staff is very polite and very helpful. Good breakfast with lots of choices. 15 minutes walk to the downtown. Whether you are going with or without family, I strongly recommend this place to everyone. Definitely going to visit again.

Séjour sympathique, chambre très grande et confortable , très bon lit , excellent buffet déjeuner. L'hôtel est immense, beaux espace et situé face à la plage. Le personnel est d'une extrême gentillesse.

Établissement qui a besoin d’être entretenu. Chambres sur l’avenue bruyante par le passage voiture. Passage de chambre supérieure mer à jardin, les secondes sont moins bien entretenues… aussi il manque bouilloire et infusion dommage… dans l’ensemble la gentillesse, le sourire du personnel est très positif au séjour. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents. Le poste Quality qui s’occupe de la clientèle avec Oumaima est très bien représenté ! Personne très agréable et très réactive ! Également Khitam à la réception est très pro ! Réactive ! Elles sont à l’écoute et répondent à vos demandes. Dans l’ensemble un bon séjour.
