Only an overnight stop, was greeted by the owner, shown to and around our room, which very clean and well equipped. Nice touch was in the breakfast room, had all day access to coffee machine with several choices of coffee plus home made cakes! Continental breakfast included, good choice of cereals, fruit, juices, breads and rolls, etc Parking for 3 cars, 4 at a tight squeeze at the front plus another 4-5 at the rear, ideal as on street parking is virtually non existent. City centre is a 10 minute walk but it is via a bit of a steep hill. Ideal stop over I would be happy to use again.

My wife and I had a wonderful short stay at the Townhouse. The hospitality was second to none, the hosts were always willing to help with amenities and general info on where to dine and places to visit both locally and further afield. The provided Continental breakfast was enjoyable (mini cereals, a variety of yogurts, fruit, teas, coffees, white and brown sliced bread, croissans and more). There was even a home-made baked cake which quests can help themselves to every afternoon! The room was clean with ample storage, parking was on-site and no hassle. The garden to the rear was a beautiful experience with ample seating, trees, flowers and plants. The property was a short walk from the town center. We're planning to stay for longer in 2026. Highly recommended. Thanks Greg & June.

Clean and very comfortable room. The thought that has gone into what guests need was impressive. The breakfast is generous and having a fridge and microwave in the breakfast room is great and allows guests to make meals, wash up and store food. Makes a massive difference. The coffee machine provides a wide variety and the very thoughtful addition of cakes adds to the feeling that you're staying where the owners genuinely consider their guests comfort.

Very pleasant stay here while in town for a wedding. Comfortable, clean, all the amenities available. Nice self-serve breakfast and snacks room. Owner is very helpful and responsive. Like staying at a friendly guest house. Easy parking in front or behind the property. Great location walking distance to town centre. We really liked the nice garden. Would recommend as great value!

Stayed onroute to uni visit in Falmouth. Great hotel close to Truro (5 mins walk) Parking is possible right outside on the drive which given the location is really handy. Nice friendly staff / owner and rooms are good size. Breakfast provided in the dining room was great, better than many chain hotels in terms of quality and range.

An excellent hotel experience. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and have thought carefully about the needs of their guests. The continental buffet (yoghurts, breads, fruit, pastries) was very appreciated, and the hosts also had a home-made cake that guests could have upon arrival. The room was quiet, and the king size bed very comfortable. The shower (over the bath) had good water pressure and easy to use. Free parking is available for eight cars (four at the front, four to the rear).

What's not to like about this outstanding property? A beautifully maintained Victorian Manor with parking literally at the front door. June and Greg are exceptional hosts and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Rooms are spotlessly clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfasts provided are generous and fresh. Townhouse Rooms was without doubt the best accommodation we experienced anywhere during our recent UK holiday. I would recommend this property to anyone travelling to Cornwall. Townhouse Rooms was a fabulous place to stay. The room was fairly spacious as was the bathroom. The location is very convenient to town and we walked to supermarkets and pubs easily. There’s also a laundry a short walk away for those who travel with carry on only . The owners were lovely (some special home baked cakes were a lovely treat) and gave fabulous instructions on how to use everything. Breakfast was self serve - a range of cereals, yoghurts, fruit salad, as well as toast, pastries and tea/coffee. All in all a delightful place to stay and we would gladly start again.

Can\'t say enough about our short stay at the Townhouse. Such a superb property in every respect. Our Oriental themed room, which included a Super King sized bed, was immaculate; so clean,comfortable and tastefully decorated. Our delightful Hostess, June, was charming and attentive throughout and at pains to ensure our stay was both enjoyable and memorable. We would definitely stay there again and have no hesitation in recommending this "diamond jewel" of a venue to anyone seeking the highest standard in hospitality likely to be available anywhere in Truro, or the surrounding areas.

When we arrived, the welcome was sincere, and June was so helpful in providing local information to help us orientate ourselves, having never been to Cornwall before. Our room was warm and welcoming, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The big bed meant that we had a great night’s sleep every night. Breakfast was plentiful, with lots of choice, and the bread/pastries were always fresh. The added bonus was being able to return after a full day to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of June’s freshly baked cakes in the breakfast room. Greg and June are both very people orientated and couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you both so much. We certainly plan to return to this Cornish gem again.

For our 4 nights in Cornwall we stayed at a very quaint Bed and Breakfast in Truro. Centrally located, it was a great place to stay and "wagon wheel" our day trips. From there, relatively speaking (by Texas standards) you can easily drive to many towns, fishing villages, beaches and other sites. We visited, Port Isaac, Tintagel, St Ives, Penzance, Land's End, Porthcurno and Minack Theatre. The owner and inn keeper, June, her husband and gardener, Greg and housekeeper Melanie were so friendly, kind and helpful. They really take pride in what they do. June baked cakes daily and had them out for afternoon tea or after dinner dessert at your leisure. Such a beautiful property. I highly recommend!!!

Only an overnight stop, was greeted by the owner, shown to and around our room, which very clean and well equipped. Nice touch was in the breakfast room, had all day access to coffee machine with several choices of coffee plus home made cakes! Continental breakfast included, good choice of cereals, fruit, juices, breads and rolls, etc Parking for 3 cars, 4 at a tight squeeze at the front plus another 4-5 at the rear, ideal as on street parking is virtually non existent. City centre is a 10 minute walk but it is via a bit of a steep hill. Ideal stop over I would be happy to use again.

The hospitality was second to none, the hosts were always willing to help with amenities and general info on where to dine and places to visit both locally and further afield. The provided Continental breakfast was enjoyable (mini cereals, a variety of yogurts, fruit, teas, coffees, white and brown sliced bread, croissans and more). There was even a home-made baked cake which quests can help themselves to every afternoon! The room was clean with ample storage, parking was on-site and no hassle. The garden to the rear was a beautiful experience with ample seating, trees, flowers and plants. The property was a short walk from the town center. We're planning to stay for longer in 2026. Lovely stay, good continental breakfast. Big room with 2 singles put together. Lots of wardrobe space. Walk down hill into center, but planned that as we like to be out from the noisy center. Plenty of places to eat and drink.

Townhouse Rooms was a fabulous place to stay. The room was fairly spacious as was the bathroom. The location is very convenient to town and we walked to supermarkets and pubs easily. There’s also a laundry a short walk away for those who travel with carry on only . The owners were lovely (some special home baked cakes were a lovely treat) and gave fabulous instructions on how to use everything. Breakfast was self serve - a range of cereals, yoghurts, fruit salad, as well as toast, pastries and tea/coffee. All in all a delightful place to stay and we would gladly start again.

For our 4 nights in Cornwall we stayed at a very quaint Bed and Breakfast in Truro. Centrally located, it was a great place to stay and "wagon wheel" our day trips. From there, relatively speaking (by Texas standards) you can easily drive to many towns, fishing villages, beaches and other sites. We visited, Port Isaac, Tintagel, St Ives, Penzance, Land's End, Porthcurno and Minack Theatre. Stayed onroute to uni visit in Falmouth. Great hotel close to Truro (5 mins walk) Parking is possible right outside on the drive which given the location is really handy. Nice friendly staff / owner and rooms are good size. Breakfast provided in the dining room was great, better than many chain hotels in terms of quality and range.

A wonderful stay with my daughter- hosts were very helpful and pleasant and a wonderful self service breakfast was on offer with a great variety to choose from including a wonderful cake made daily by the lady of the house which we enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden with a cup of tea. Bed was very comfortable and lovely pillows which is a rare find. Easy walk into town All in all a delightful stay and would highly recommend. I’ve no doubt if I visit Truro in the future I would stay here again . 10/10

The breakfast is generous and having a fridge and microwave in the breakfast room is great and allows guests to make meals, wash up and store food. Makes a massive difference. The coffee machine provides a wide variety and the very thoughtful addition of cakes adds to the feeling that you're staying where the owners genuinely consider their guests comfort.

Townhouse - We had informed we would arrive at 2.0pm and arrived at 1.55pm to be told we were 5 minutes early. We were allowed to sit in the dining room until owners wife arrived home, as the check in clerk thought we had not paid, had to show bank details, booking details, 1 hour later we were shown to our room by owners wife. No fault of Jean or Gordon but booking agents need to show more detail to owners would of avoided delay. We are locals of Cornwall but would of been rather annoyed if we had travelled from far wider. Very nice hotel, great location for city centre and very well laid our continental breakfast. As long as your check in is speedy, please support the owners and this establishment
