Staff were very friendly. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Ample parking and a great location for exploring. Spar in the village and 3 other places to go for a drink or something to eat as well as the restaurant and bar in the hotel. Room and bathroom were clean, neat and tidy. The room that we were allocated was a tired and dated. (Just the luck of the draw! There was also noise from an outside fan but thankfully this went off at night. A bit of noise below in the mornings we assumed the kitchen! The room however was a reasonable price. We made use of the gym, pool, sauna and steam room. Again, staff very friendly and welcoming.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay. Whenever we asked a question about the food we got a don't know or l dislike it so l wouldn't choose it, a very odd response. We think staff training is definitely needed urgently. We know they were busy but our experience was not a good one, especially as the music kept us up until very late. We will definitely not be visiting again. Very surprised it was a best western.

We enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable and the leisure facilities were excellent. We didn't eat at the property because Drymen has some great places to eat. The main bugbear was the lock on the door not working properly meaning we constantly had to go to reception.

Helpful and friendly staff! Cleanliness and upkeep could improve. Big breakfast portions. Ventilation was not great. I think we saw some mold in the windows in our room.
