Although the motel is quite dated it was clean and very convenient for the one night stay after our visit to a Casinorama concert. Microwave and fridge in the room. Staff were friendly and there was plenty of parking. Price was reasonable.

Went for a concert at Casino Rama. When we arrived for check in the Inn was also renting Uhauls and their entire parking lot was taken on both sides with Uhauls. We were told that if there was no space we have to park in another companies parking lot risking getting towed. I had to park my truck on the sidewalk in front of the Inn and near the main road. There was no one to let us in after we arrived back from concert main entrance was locked and key card did not open the side door. Breakfast was really dirty had no milk and only 2 pieces of bread. This was at 7am, also everything was open no lids. No one was at the front desk or anywhere to be found. There was no coffee machine in rooms either. This cost $177/night has to be the worst experience I have ever had to stay in for that price. It is close to Casino Rama but I do not recommend.

This property is in need of maintenance and repair. The ice machine was drmirty and out of service, the windows were very dirty, out bathroom sink counter was loose and leaning down. It appears this location is run or managed by a couple but neither one was at the front desk when we arrived. Service was non existant as we asked for towels but we were told we had to come get them. Upon checking out we had to leave from the side door as they locked the front door over night. NOTE: You cannot lock exit doors. Overall the service wasn't great, the property needs cleaning and maintenance.

The pictures on the website do not reflect what the hotel looks like. Ice machine broken and the area that showed breakfast room was half the size and did not reflect photo. People lived upstairs. We did not feel safe at all and even our Uber driver stated it was one of the worst places to stay in Orillia. The man at the desk was very nice however and offered taxi service. Very dated and felt like we could not take our shoes off in the room. Would not recommend unfortunately. Website offered conjoining rooms and this is not available.

The staff were nice and helpful. The room was clean, and included a fridge, microwave, table, dresser and jet bathtub. The linens were nice. Breakfast included cereal, bread to toast, coffee, tea, and juice. Overall it was a pleasant experience. I would stay here again.

The cockroaches came out at night. The front staff were very friendly, but beyond the cockroaches that we trapped in the bathroom and mentioned to the front desk staff, the mystery stains on the furniture and towels were off putting. Comfortable bed though, if we can be sure there aren’t different bugs…

The only good thing was the shower. It seems to have been brand new. Otherwise,the room was filthy. There was stains, reddish brown ones,sprayed all over the walls. Like someone was shooting up and it didn't go well. I've watched too much Intervention, I guess. The couch was flat and hard and worn out. And there were only two pillows for two people and they were worn and flat and hard. It needs a good scrubbing,all the walls, bathroom too. They wouldn't let us pay cash,which is weird. And it was extremely pricey for what it was. Would not return. Had I not booked through Expedia with a credit card, I would have left.

The front desk girl was very friendly. Check in was easy. Room was clean and cozy. Didn't like that the bed was like a rock. And the towels were grey and felt like sandpaper. Need replacing. Curtains do not cover the windows completely. I could literally se into my room fom outside.

We stayed for one night to attend a concert. Our room was dated but nice and clean. Sadly our a/c was too clunky and loud to use so it was quite hot in the room. The front desk assistant was very nice and also friendly. Breakfast was underwhelming but nice cold juice and McDonald’s is a few minutes drive. Overall, not bad for an overnight stay and very budget friendly 😊

Nothing to like, the bare minimum was done as far as customer service. There was so much noise in this place it was unbelievable. People walking and talking in the hall, people above us walking and banging, and the worst wasbthe group in the room beside us talking all night from waking us up at 11:30 saturday night untill i finally passed out around 5:30 am .... the staff was no help after numerous calls i gave up. I dont really blame the people in the room because for the most part they were just talking in normal tones but they may as well have been in the same room as us ... any thing that happened in that place we heard. Nothing good to say

It’s a basic hotel. You get what you pay for. It’s dated and the entrance is stale smelling. The room was dated but clean. The “breakfast” is toast and coffee, but the coffee is good. Just keep in mind that you won’t be full and will probably want more to eat. If you just need a quick snack before you go, you will be ok with it. The staff were wonderful.

The hotel and room was not as advertised. It was not well lit and the lobby was dark and front doors locked. Called a number on the sign and someone finally came and said we had to use a different entrance. Upon opening the door to the hallway we encountered a strong smell of marijuana and plug in air freshener to cover it even though there is a sign in the lobby that says no cannons. The room was over powering with air freshener to cover the musty moldy smell. The carpets were not properly vacuumed and the bed cover had a black mark on it. We did not stay in the room. We called them and asked for a refund and were told we couldn’t have a refund and had to call the next day to speak to the manager. We ended up driving home late at night as we could not stay in the room. When we called five times the next day we were hung up on when we asked for the manager five times. We have escalated this with Knights Inn head office and will be with Expedia also. We paid for a room that we did not use. It was not clean properly and the odours throughout the room and building were not healthy.

We stayed here because we needed a place to sleep after a show at casino rama. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly. Coffee was available when we woke up and the price was very reasonable. There were several restaurant options within 2 km of the hotel. If you are looking for luxury accommodations this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a clean, affordable place to stay, the Knights Inn exceeded my expectations.

Staff is friendly and accommodating. Although the building is dated it is clean and well maintained. I had an enjoyable stay for a very reasonable price. The beds are comfortable and the linen is clean. I'd book there again without hesitation.

We had a pleasant stay in the room. It was neat, clean, and well-maintained. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, making it a relaxing place to unwind. Conveniently located near shops and a beautiful waterfront, everything we needed was just a short walk away. Highly recommended for a comfortable and calm stay!

It is a convenient location. The room is decent and budget friendky. The mattress was horrible. Up all night tossing and turning. The breakfast was cereal and toast. The phone in the room didn't work and the shower had a sliw drain. And bring your own shampoo. I had stayed here many years ago but will have to try somewhere else next time.

The phone in the room didn't work and the shower had a sliw drain. And bring your own shampoo. I had stayed here many years ago but will have to try somewhere else next time.

We stayed for one night to attend a concert. Our room was dated but nice and clean. Sadly our a/c was too clunky and loud to use so it was quite hot in the room. The front desk assistant was very nice and also friendly. Breakfast was underwhelming but nice cold juice and McDonald’s is a few minutes drive. Overall, not bad for an overnight stay and very budget friendly 😊

I was quite pleased with the overall property and the staff. The breakfast needs work. There wasn't much there some toast some cereal coffee and juice. This is not a continental breakfast but I suppose better than nothing. That part needs work. The staff forgot the dirty towels hanging on the door of the bathroom but the overall room was clean and comfortable. No complaints about the motel it's okay

Service was excellent. Room was clean. The hotel showed it's age. Breakfast was continental, cereal toast, oatmeal, coffee, tea,and juice. Had to throw out the first 3 slices of bread as they were dried up. Rest were OK

This hotel is dated. The TV did not work and nor did the bedside light. Bathtub did not drain properly. The listing indicated that breakfast served. Breakfast was very lame and was toast and select cereal with warm milk. Front desk staff was never at desk.

The hotel was clean, only problem was the breakfast, very poor. Nobody was @ the reception in the morning .Wanted to ask for coffee, coffee maker was empty, orange/apple juice was bad. All you get at breakfast is bread,butter,gem and cereals.And the worse thing is that nobody is there so you can talk to.We left the keys at the reception and just left, to have breakfast somewhere else.

It’s a basic hotel. You get what you pay for. It’s dated and the entrance is stale smelling. The room was dated but clean. The “breakfast” is toast and coffee, but the coffee is good. Just keep in mind that you won’t be full and will probably want more to eat. If you just need a quick snack before you go, you will be ok with it. The staff were wonderful.

Great value for the room. Nice & clean, comfortable bed. The only downside was the free breakfast. Basically toast, cold cereal, juice and coffee. Not even hot water to make tea or the oatmeal packets that were there. Even some fresh fruit 🍎 bananas 🍌 or oranges 🍊 would have made it much nicer

The hotel was super clean, friendly guy at front counter to check in. Room was clean and smelled nice, not like normal low priced hotels. Parking lot was not great, but they only have so much space so not a big deal as it wasn't busy. Hotel was quiet and area was quiet overnight. We only spent one night just barely long enough to sleep, but were impressed with the place. We would stay again..

As far as hotels go I’m not too picky. But I’m a HVAC tech and I know when the air filter needs to be changed in the ac/heat unit. I woke up in the middle of the night with it being very dry and stuffy. In the morning we both had stuffy noses and and sore throats. Found a lot of garbage behind the bed.
