Very good property for one night stay. Be aware about a noise from a busy road. Parking is available near rooms. It is 7 min drive from downtown Orillia and 18 min from Casino Rama. Nearest restaurants are in walkable distance 200 meters away.

Well, the first thing we noticed when we arrived was that there were a lot of very tiny ants all over the carpet, after killing them, and going out for dinner we found that when we came back, the Hydro was out. I understand that the Comfort Inn has no control over that problem, but we still found ants With our flashlights from our phones and it was too dark to change rooms and we didn’t want to stay up late waiting for the Hydro to come back on so we had to sleep in that room that night. The next morning we changed to a very nice room right next door with no carpet and we wondered why we hadn’t been given that nicer room in the first place. Also, the air conditioner was quieter in that second room. The floors were needing a cleaning, but they did clean them on our request while we were out during the day rather than giving a bad review I would have liked to have just sent an email to the manager, but I couldn’t find an easy way to do that so here it is.

Check in went well. Friendly staff and helpful. We had rowdy neighbours and I believe the personnel should make rounds and advise to tone things down. As for our room a great disappointment when we walked in. Carpets very dirty and many stains and had a smell also. I could see dirt on wall, patio door very dirty and even mirrors. If I did not have pets I would not stay there. We liked that there was ample space to park our vehicle with trailer and that we we’re walking distance to restaurants. The continental breakfast was also very good.

Room was fine for a night. There was a stain on my comforter from a previous guest. So I thought that was gross. Comforters should be washed ESPECIALLY when dirty. Sink leaked and only turned off when positioned a certain way. Also was assigned an adjoined room and I could hear everything the people beside were saying clearly.

I was very disappointed in this Comfort Inn. I had always looked at the Comfort Inn brand as not fancy but consistent. Over the years i have stayed at comfort inns often but I think this will be my last time. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept in. Even without layijg on it, you could see it concaved into the middle. I got very little sleep. We asked the frint drsk for a change in rooms, but wasntold they were completely booked for the night. Also, the back entrance stairs werew missing stair treadss in ine stair and dangerously loose on another. They did take $50 off my almost $300 room charge to try to compensate for the bed stay

Pro: Bed is comfortable, room was clean. Breakfast was adequate. Staff were great. Con: Place is getting shabbier by the year. Need to have small tables on both sides of the bed. Tub/shower felt unsafe to stand in. Lack of housekeeping service.

Friendly and informative staff at check in. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The bed, pillows, and linen were comfortable. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom. (One item was not checked prior to our arrival and the container was empty). Coffee is available in the room but only one regular and three decaf. Instead we visited the breakfast area that opened at 6:30am for coffee. Breakfast was included and there were enough options for anyone to find something to eat. The lobby also sold snacks, drinks, and microwave meals.

We arrived at the property at 630 and was told that Expedia didn’t book our two rooms but only one. That the three of us would have to share. I asked for some type of receipt showing I didn’t get the room and they refused told me to call Expedia. I tried calling them on line and was unable to get someone as my cell wasn’t working properly. We called down to front desk and she did not have a number for us and would contact us later. At this point we were running late. The time we left for a restaurant we ended up being late for the show that I drove 3 hours for. We came back to the hotel where we had to park in a snow bank. Passed the front desk nothing was said to us. The circumstances of the three of us in the room were not not comfortable. I got changed and ready for bed and I noticed my cell had a message. From the hotel saying they screwed up and the room was available. I get ready and go down stairs at 230 am. Get my room. I wasn’t apologized to or offered anytype of compensation. I get to the room there’s a pubic hair on top of the one bed and the second bed was fine. I will not reccomend this hotel to anyone and I will now never stay at the chain either.

We arrived at 1:45pm. Front desk was checking in another person. When it was our turn we were informed that we were checking in REALLY EARLY (quite rudely). Seemed like it was a big deal. We said we would come back at 3:00pm. But we were given our room. Not a good first impression. If we were told sorry could you come back, no problem! It was the way she spoke to us. And why was the lady in front of us not told she was early? Orillia has many hotels, so we will just try a different hotel next time.

The staff was very courteous, however there was only one person doing the work of 2 possibly 3 people. There was a long lineup for people checking in. The room was clean, breakfast was well prepared. Only drawback was the wait time when we arrived.

The toilet would not stop running. My husband fixed it. The snow was hard to get around outside, but understandable. Breakfast was okay. White bread only, no fruit available. Bacon and sausage available, no eggs. We were only staying one night, so it served it's purpose.

The property was very well maintained and super clean. The breakfast was warm with good options (bacon, scrambled eggs, a waffle maker, yogurt, fruits, bread selections, coffee and juice etc.,) and the dining area was super clean too. (Kudos for the kitchen staff!) Staff was kind and did care about the property ans guests. The best two star hotel I have stayed at.

We were greeted by friendly staff to start. We were early but thought we’d check to see if our room was ready. It was no big deal to us as we would have walked to the Timhortons or a McDonald’s near by. However she eagerly went to check our room and came back to let us know indeed it was ready. The hallways etc leading to our room were really clean. Our room was clean and spacious. They even had the heat turned up which was nice but we turned it off as it was to hot for our liking. We went to a concert so we were not at the hotel long. In the morning the hotel had a buffet included. The food really was not that good at all. The waffle maker made soggy under cooked waffles. The eggs and sausages tasted weird. One thing we loved was that they had coffee, tea and juice available all day/night in the lobby. We would go back again and would recommend this hotel.
